I stopped by the drive-thru and ordered the Wings & Things meal. I went with the traditional wings instead of the boneless ones, got them well done with the dry-rub seasoning, and they were really good. The meal came with about five wings, three chicken tenders, fries, and a piece of Texas toast. I also got the Sweet & Spicy Thai chili sauce on the side for my fries, and that was a great choice. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and heat. Since I used the drive-thru, I can't really comment on the inside of the restaurant, but the drive-thru experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was fresh. Overall, a great experience, and I'd definitely stop by again. read more

On our road trip to go back home, my family and I stopped at this Zaxbys to stretch our legs and fill our bellies. This was a good option because they had chicken tenders and fries, so we knew the kids would eat it. This is one of those fast food chains we don't have in Michigan, so we figured this was as good an opportunity as ever to try them. I have to say that they exceeded my expectations for a fast food dine-in experience. The restaurant was very clean inside and out, the staff were super courteous, and all the food we had was delicious and well seasoned. Our family of 4 was satisfied with the 6 chicken tenders, fries and toast. My wife and kids don't like cole slaw in general, but I enjoyed theirs. I was on a road trip and this was my first time trying Zaxby's. I was truly pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken finger taco with avocado ranch and I also ordered a traditional wings meal. Brand new location... gone is the green building markers and slow drive thru im used to.... Taking a page from Chick-fil-A there's a two lane drive thru. (This visit was made during the times of Covidious back in October. When things return to a look of normality - your experience likely will vary. Also I was tired, driving and didn't give a damn about checking in.) We had just left some quality time in the Atlantic Beach/Morehead City area and had driven by their Zaxby's location many times but never felt compelled to stop. Why I don't know as collectively chicken is our thing and back home in PA we don't have a Zaxby's within give or take 200+ miles of us but for some reason we stopped here before getting on to 95. Like their feathery brethren CFA, they had a line around the store that I counted to be either 18 or 19 cars. Seems crazy to wait this one out but indeed we did. On/off property time was give or take 30 minutes. With that said, that wait was all about the inside's ability to produce the food. Like most places currently the inside "dining room" is closed off unless you're picking up from a 3rd party delivery service and they were taking orders very fast as a single employee was out walking from car to car with her iPad (CFA style) taking orders way, way in advance. This is great if you know what you want but as we had never been, it really put us on the spot to get on our phones and check their menu online as the employee did not have a sample menu due to Covid concerns. What I remember: Like CFA, way too much ice in the drinks. The Texas Toast was soggy and at least to me doesn't translate to being put inside of their to-go containers. The chicken fingers/boneless wings and sauces are actually very good but no question we were given someone else's order. There were four of us and they gave us a bag with six main items in it. No asking/checking as they hand you the bag. Just more or less a "here you go" as they close the window immediately and you have the 20 cars behind you all waiting as impatiently as you were. Nothing earth shattering or amazing and I wouldn't say that they're as good as CFA, but aside from the ludicrous self-imposed wait, this Zaxby's experience wasn't bad and I could see a return trip the next time we're somewhere near a store. read more

I tried to order my food on the app without success. I did not know it didn't go through until I got to the store. The order didn't go through but the payment did several times on my credit card. After waiting and watching several people who came in behind me get there order, I stepped up to the counter and asked about my order. The cashier played ignorant and I asked did the order go through this time. Apparently not. Prior to this they did see me hit the confirm button for the order. I finally received my order after being in the store a good 20 minutes. I finally received my order but it still was not right. Zaxby's what are you doing? This is poor service at best. I could have gone through drive through and been home eating my food. Advice people do not use the app. My 3 year old nephew could have programmed your app better than the software engineers who did yours. read more

Zaxby's has great salads! For fast food salads they are really great. This Zaxby's is always friendly and provides great customer service. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean. The fried chicken at Zaxby's is lightly crisp and taste great. My family eats here at least a few times a month. read more

First and foremost, this restaurant supports it's community. They regularly host events and donate proceeds towards worthy organizations and functions. Secondly, the food is just plain good. I would have given Zaxby's 5 stars but on a few occasions I have ordered my go to (The Buffalo Blue Salad) and the sauce has been spicier than normal. In fact, the sauce was so spicy that particular day, I thought my face was melting and my ass was on fire. It didn't help that it was 95*, i drive a wrangler with leather, and the top was off. Food is decent. Same as other Zaxbys locations. Make sure you check your bag for extra items as they always tend to forget to add them. Especially salad dressings. Only major flaw with this location is the parking lot. During peak times the drive through can get backed up all the way to the main road which causes traffic to not be able to enter into the shopping center next door. read more

The Blue Salad Buffaloed with Blue Cheese Dressing is AWESOME!!! Texas Toast is really good... Staff is horrid... They stand of top of the drink table to refill ice instead of using a ladder and do not even with down after they do so... My order is wrong most of the time so I have to check my order every time...
