I have to say that this place can do a decent biscuits and gravy. It was fresh, hot, and flavorful. I can easily say it is better than a lot of sit down restaurants. The service was quick and everything was clean. My one knock would be the sausage egg and cheese biscuit...I had high hopes, but the egg and sausage just missed the mark. The bisquits were hard as a rock. Hardees used to bake fresh bisquits daily. When did this policy change? I was extremely disappointed. There was one car ahead of me in the drive thru. I finally shut off my car after waiting over ten minutes. Then stale three day old bisquits were sold as fresh? I did not discover this until several miles from there. If I was closer, I would have returned and complained and demanded a refund. No excuse for this fiasco! read more

I very rarely eat fast food... Typically only on road trips these days, which was our reason for stopping to begin with. I was enticed to try the turkey "thick burger" (and believe me I use that term loosely) by the drive through voice. Of course I had to go all out (in terms of disgust factor) and order the ranch/BBQ one... If I'm going to be sick from fast food, the cause might as well be easily identified. Onion rings sounded good too, so I attempted to order those AND fries... But apparently that didn't translate (frings?). Bill got the 5-pc chicken tenders with fries. The only part of the meal I don't have a critique about were the chicken tenders, which were good but came in an awkwardly gigantic box with tiny sauce portions in plastic containers with lids (think restaurant takeout). We hardly got any fries... I'm not sure if they used the 'child sized' box (no commentary on portion control... this was vacation). And we had to "pull around" to wait for the onion rings even though there was nobody behind us in the drive through. This is just a matter of annoyance for me though. As for their new claim to fame turkey thick-burger... I commend the effort but the sandwich I got only resembled the picture with less than a shadow of accuracy. The bun was smashed flat. The two sauces were indistinguishable and seemed to have retreated into the 1/8" thick bun. The tomato, onion and lettuce were all wilted, unripe, and unappetizing. But they were all that was left to bring some flavor to the turkey burger patty itself, which actually reminded me of the mcrib in terms of texture. So... Here we are. Once again I'm reminded why I hate fast food. You always know what you're getting isn't technically food to begin with, but when you're disappointed as well with the flavor there's that additional feeling of waste and regret that permeates to your core. gross. read more

We ordered the Most American Burger in honor of Memorial Day. We went through the the drive through so I can't comment on the inside of the restaurant. My sister is gluten free and ordered her burger without the bun, but when we got to our picnic, we noticed it came on a bun, and we were too far away to go back. The lesson learned is to always check your order before driving away from the drive through. The burger patty itself was juicy and flavorful and the bun was toasted perfectly. Th downside was that the cheese wasn't melted and tasted like cheap processed cheese. read more

Let's face it, Hardee's food isn't really that bad its fast food fairly good as far as that goes, but this place really stinks on the customer service. Three times I have been here and I always go inside and get the carryout because the drivethru to too long. So what has broke the review stars in making this just two stars, well you go there as before and not expecting any great service anyway but as we pull up and start for the door another person dressed in hardee black and with a Hardee grumpy employee attitude says lobby is closed, we say we're just getting carry out and point to the really big sign that says lobby open for carry out only. No thats still just too much for ole grumpy and tells us " lobby closed" as she walks in, we of course ask if we could help them in removing The sgn that says its open, but at this point why try, we just won't be coming back, ever. read more

Food is fresh here and hot. Matt whom send to always be working the drive-thru is very friendly and always double checks the orders. Sometimes there can be an abundance of mayo or ketchup on some of their items, so ask for extra napkins! All their menu items are pretty good, some good breakfast selections too that aren't just a skimpy sandwich and will actually fill you up such as the biscuits and gravy. Love this is one of the last places to offer High-C Lava Orange! Only drawback is sometimes they can get pretty busy and there will be a wait time. read more

Stopped in for a burger and fried after a movie. This Hardee's is located just off of I-80 and is open 24 hours. First impression was, wow this place is clean. Nothing out of order. The staff was friendly. Ordered the Frisco burger combo and it did not disappoint. Just add some horseradish sauce and it's perfect for me. Surprised me for 6pm on a Saturday. A constant flow of cars going through the drive thru. Inside was about half full and the Hardee's staff was bringing orders out to customers and making sure the restaurant is clean and orderly. I'm here today trying the El Diablo burger. WOW! Never had so many jalapeños on a burger. This could melt your face. The burger is a 1/3# patty, there are 3 jalapeño poppers, smoky bacon, pepper jack cheese and a spicy sauce. It was very filling and delicious. read more

My experiences are not always the best at Hardee's and normally I only go there when I have a coupon because I find them a little expensive. Had a horrible experience here this evening. Manager was just wandering around while only one person was actually cooking. People before us waited 20 minutes for their food. We waited almost 30 and all we had were two burgers with fries. People who came in after us got their food before we did. At least four cars went through the drive through while we waited. We probably would have waited even longer had we not complained. And no apology or explanation was offered until we did complain. Zero customer service attitude from the manager. We stopped by this Hardee's while passing through West Omaha on I-80. I had the Monster burger, which was delicious as it normally is. The prices were down to Earth here, and the food tasted great. Even though Hardee's is owned by CKE (Carl's Jr.), their food is so much better than Carl's Jr. I wish I could have stopped there during their breakfast hours for some biscuits and gravy, which is awesome at Hardee's. I really wish Hardee's was as big as McDonalds. I really like a lot of their food. The old favorite ham and cheese is still good, their burgers have great flavor, and then there is the Big Chicken Sandwich!!! I have tried the chicken sandwich at Chick Fillet and Popeyes, and both are lacking in texture and flavor. The portion size and price is attractive, but I prefer the taste. My Hardee's chicken sandwich is perfect, in size, texture, and taste. NOW....one comment that concerns them all....They have to be fresh to taste their best. My Popeyes was supposedly cooked while I waited, but it was not even close to being as warm as my Hardee's sandwich. As for the fries, They are not terrible, but I like Runza fries the best, followed by McDonalds. Another thing, so far, they have NEVER gotten my order wrong!! McDonalds is wrong more than right. Give your closest Hardees a chance folks!!!! As a hint, every place I go I place a special order to get the freshest food!!! read more

Menu prices in drive through are not being honored. Noticed 20 cent difference in what was posted vs what was charged. General Manager Pat Goodman stated it's not his job to know the prices being charged vs those on menu. read more
