My first review for Culver's was 11 years ago and it still remains a favorite for us to go to for take out or a quick dinner. And if you think Culver's is only for burgers, you obviously haven't tried their fish yet! Do yourself a favor and order the sandwich or fish dinner. So good!! One of my kids has celiac and we do love coming here - they manage the food well and the staff is trained. He gets the bittersweet burger marked for a gluten allergy and gets the gf bun which comes in a separate bag. Unfortunately the fries are made in a shared fryer so those are a no-go. Review from 6/16/2020 Dining room was closed due to COVID so there was a crazy long drive-through line but it seemed to go pretty quick. Not sure if it's always like that but I wouldn't be surprised. Their burgers are DELICIOUS! Highly recommend getting bacon and a side of ranch dressing. Plus of course a couple scoops of custard. Always very busy, even during non peak hours. But don't let this deter you because the food is worth the wait. Whether you're here for a meal or just some frozen custard, they've got you covered. I was thrilled to learn that they do have gluten free hamburger buns. I can never get enough of their frozen custard, whether it's just a scoop or a medium concrete mixer. This Culver's off of Q is in a tight parking lot that is challenging to navigate, especially with the gas station traffic running interference during heavy traffic conditions. If yiu can tolerate this, the restaurant is very clean and the workers are friendly and helpful. Ordering up front is quick and efficient. Tables and chairs are cleared and cleaned quickly by the employees, and tables with little kids will be distracting if you want to have a private conversation there. The food is freshly prepared, delivered to your table, and the server will ask you if you need anything else. Overall, it's a nice change of venue from other fast food restaurants in the area. read more

Delicious custard! They have great "butter burgers " too. We went through the drive through the other night and the line was kinda long but it didn't take too long before we placed our order. For a fast food place, the food is really tasty. Love the butter burgers, but I have to say my favorite is the fish basket. You get a nice serving of batter fried fish with sides. The location near 120th and Maple is clean, the booths and tables are clean, and the staff are friendly. Don't forget to have some of the frozen custard for dessert. read more

This location a.l.w.a.y.s. has a line of cars wrapped around the building. It's an unfortunate inconvenience, but it makes total sense. The burgers (and fries, and shakes, etc.) are just that good. Love the attention to Covid-19 precautions here. I spoke with the manager, and they are very, very diligent. They are treating every customer as if they were at-risk family. The utmost care has been taken to ensure all possible precautions are in place every time, all the time. They even place all orders for dine-in that are delivered to the table in to-go bags instead of using plastic trays and instead of having the food possibly exposed to germs as the tray is brought through the restaurant. I was very disappointed - it has been years since I have stopped by a Culver's and I guess I had forgotten why. This was my first time doing drive thru with them and it will definitely be my last - almost nothing makes me more frustrated that placing my order, paying and then being asked to pull ahead to wait for my food. There is no clear direction of how far to move ahead or the wait. I luckily saw a staff and complained to her that I was very unhappy with this and able to ask for additional ketchup for my meal. She used the excuse of they do it this way for the food to be made fresh - doesn't work for me. I won't be back, on top of it, the single burger was such a disappointment that I felt it was so small and skimpy that I am pretty sure I had an onion sandwich. The staff was very kind and tolerant of my frustration which is the only reason I am giving two stars. read more

But, I have to say something about this: I ordered through the drive thru, and mentioned I had a veterans discount. The order taker told me "ok, I got it on here". Even though it didn't seem like the order total changed. When I got to the window, I mentioned again about the Veteran's discount. He looked at the register screen, and told me he had it on there. Nobody in the Omaha area makes a better fast food burger. I love butterburgers! The fries are very crisp and are also among my favorites. I've seldom strayed from my tried-and-true selections, so cannot comment on the many items on the menu, but be assured that there is a large selection and daily specials. Initially, my visit with my 9 year old son last night was just 'OK'. He got the Butter Burger kids meal and I got the 10 shrimp meal with fries. My shrimp was somewhat rubbery and not warm but I pushed through until I got to shrimp #6. That's when I felt a hair in my mouth... at least the end of one. Both my son and I have very short brown hair. This hair was wavy, mostly blonde, and just over a foot long when stretched out. Was this malicious, no. Unsavory? Without a doubt. I went through the drive thru had good costumer service and got my food in a good time frame too. But when I drove away and was no longer in the area I noticed that I didn't receive my sauces with my order that I asked for, they even repeated that I had asked for sauce with my order when order was confirmed.
