Great location. Very clean and was able to order right away. They were very helpful and the food came out quick. Had the Runza, which wasn't the freshest and the blend of meat and cabbage seems slight off ratio-wise, but still was very tasty. The frings were great and made fresh. The were out of mustard, but that wasn't a huge deal. Big fan of their $1 ice cream cones. Great way to end the meal. Will be back! read more

I made the mistake of not checking our order before leaving, but even if I had, I don't think I would have noticed everything until we got home anyway. I ordered the Swiss mushroom Runza with frings. There was no cheese or mushroom on my Runza and as a previous Runza employee, I can tell this one was in the warmer for a very long time with how dried out it is. The fries I received were hardly filled and did not include any onion rings. I also ordered my kids popcorn chicken meals with fries. The fries were hard as a rock and my daughter cried after bitting into one since it hurt her mouth it was so over cooked. We were also in the drive through line for a significant amount of time with no movement and only two people in front of us and one behind us. We have had a similar experience at this location several times, so I think after today's experience we will just drive farther to get better quality food. read more

Recently visited Nebraska after about five years being away, this time with my parents in tow. Our rental car company messed up our car seat reservation, so while we were waiting on a fix, thought we'd grab a quick lunch. Having grown up in Nebraska, my parents were nostalgic about Runza, and while I seemed to remember them being just fine, I didn't have any stand out positive memories to go with it. So we figured we'd give it a shot. Things I didn't remember - the bread being as doughy as it was, everything heavier and greasier than I remember. The onion rings were okay, and my kiddos liked the soft serve ice cream with cookies, but in general it was just a basic fast food experience (and I dare say my recent trip to McDonalds was probably better). I'm a total Runza snob - worked at one in high school and still a fan. That being said, I know how Runza should be and Ive experienced a few that are not run as intended-from food quality to service. But this one I'm never disappointed with. Been there dozens of times, they always get the order right, service is attentive, inside is clean - reminds me of my smaller hometown Runza. I never worry when I stop by the One Pacific Place, Gretna and this Millard location. New to Runza? Tip: Pretty much every Runza lover gets their ranch & puts it on everything. I orders a sandwich, and they told me it would be 10 minute wait so I settled for a burger to which was terrible. They put way to much sauce and the burger pattie was small. The sauce ruined the entire burger and I don't know why they charged me than told me it would be a 10 minute wait. read more

We have always received wonderful service at this location, however, today I found a hair on my salad. I drove back to the location and when the manager saw I was returning with an already full runza bag, he immediately asked what he could do to help me out. He listened with intent, made my opinion seem valid and not only refunded my money for the salad but my sons meal as well. Runza is by far, hands down, totally and 100% my absolute favorite fast food restaurant. I love Runza more than I love a lot of other things. They have the BEST cringle fries and the BEST...well...I'm not sure what they're called...Runzas? Hot bread jammed full of meat, cabbage, onions, and just plain deliciousness. Every now and then, I'll spice it up and get a cheese Runza. It's the best little hot pocket sort of sandwich and I DARE anyone to try and make a better one. Seriously. I would love to taste these. Runzas are only in Nebraska and started in good old Lincoln, NE. Eating one always reminds me of Husker football games and instantly getting warmed up by these little treats. If I could transport one thing to my new city (not including family and friends, I guess), Runza would DEFINITELY be it. Seriously. I'd eat the crap out of these every single day. read more

Always good food and good service. Great to support a business that was founded right here in Nebraska. I just had the chicken strips today and they never disappoint. The buffalo sauce is nice and hot. Burgers are always cooked well will great flavor. You also can't forget about the fries! The crinkle cut fries are a Runza classic and are always nice a crispy and always have just the right amount of potato! Will be back for sure! read more

After first walking in, you get the feeling that this is a 5 star michelin restaurant. The new decor is beautiful compared to most fast food plastic chairs and utensils. Right when you walk in, if you gaze to the right to see a bold sign quoting "never skimp on quality". It hangs right above a fake fireplace if that gives you any idea what fools run this savage trailer park of a restaurant. This is my 87th time coming here and everytime I ask for extra love put on my burger. And sometimes (on the special days) I ask for them to place a kiss before laying it in front of me. Did they? No. Each time I come, there seems to be less and less love in the food. What has happened to my replacement of a spouse all these years? Today I saw an Oompa Loompa get punched upside the head for putting up a labor strike. I personally know the manager and went to his wedding. He's one of the nicest meanest guys I've ever met. I am new to the Omaha area and was looking forward to trying Runza... it was just ok :(. I really enjoyed the Runza cheeseburger but the onion rings had no flavor at all and were too hard. My husband had the double cheeseburger and said it was nothing special and tasted like a basic fast food burger. The kids meals are not big enough for anyone over 7. I went in to this location at 3:30. The young lady who came to take my order did not greet me, I was the one who greeted her. She obviously did not want to help me. I asked her if she had tenders and she looked over her shoulder at them menu and said yeah. I just looked at her, I could not believe her poor attitude. I then gave her my order. She walked away after I paid and went to the drive thru. I could hear someone ordering in the DT and I heard her say, People are so dumb. Nice, a young man brought me my order and I asked him if she was the manager and he said yes. I said I would like to know who to call about her bad attitude and he told me. I got back home and called the store because i forgot to get her name. They said no girl was working and when i told them i just left they said they were not good with names. Not sure what there is to like about Runza anymore! There is no meat in the famous Runza anymore, just a small bit of hamburger stuck to the bun on the inside. They look NOTHING like their pictured advertisements. When I asked about it once, they told me they have a predetermined amount of meat that can go in them. I tried them again the other day hoping they'd gotten their act together but same old story - basically a flavored piece of bread. Horrible. read more

Not a fan of Runza in general. I've tried multiple Runza locations, and multiple menu items, but I will leave a review for this specific Runza location since it was the most recent, and the one that made my family say "never again". The Runza sandwich: very unimpressive. Why do people get so excited about it? The burgers: mediocre. The fries and rings (or frings): nothing special about the fries, and the rings are not good at all. Again, multiple attempts at Runza have been underwhelming every time, and I won't waste my time again. Now, for this specific location, we went in mid-afternoon and an employee went straight from mopping the floor to serving us...without losing her rubber gloves/washing her hands. She didn't touch our food, but she did hand us our drink cups with gloved hands (gloved hands that had been handling a mop and dirty water). Really?? Runza is just a local over-hyped fancy version of McD's or Booger King. My advice to everyone: go someplace else. read more

Service is nice, however I almost never seem to get any of the condiments I ask for. It's just plain annoying.
