I should have read reviews or asked a local friend before coming here... When I mentioned to a friend I went to Hardees Rio Burrito they asked, "Why??" The service was slow. The employees were not engaging, but stuck to the basic required questions, "medium or large?" It has been years since I had a burger from Hardees. They were never my favorite. I went because I was interested to know how their "Mexican" food offered at this location compared to Taco Bell. Obviously, they're trying to compete. To their credit, the portions were generous, much more than expected. Their bean burrito is at least twice the size of Taco Bell's. The amount of meat in the tacos and on the nachos was impressive. However they don't have a good seasoning, so it lacks flavor. I asked for extra jalapeños since they only have one lumpy ketchup style "salsa" (very mild), and I never received the jalapeños. The "salsa" was a joke by any standard. The dining room was clean, but the bathroom needed attention. The building outside looks OK, but some landscaping would make it more welcoming. My experience here was a disappointment and I won't be back. With all the really great competition around... Why?! read more

They literally closed 15 minutes before stated close time on their website and door. It really was disappointing. I'm a local and I will not be back. That's not how a business should be ran in my opinion. The employee shouted several times at me sitting. In the drive through until I heard where she's was coming from she was already out there taking the garbage out. She has such a look with disgust and an awful tone. Hardee's breakfast is top 3 in the fast food game, and always hot and fresh at this location. This morning the manager went out of her way to make my daughter fries at 8:30 AM and sold me sides of bacon. The service from ordering to paying and receiving my food was stand out good! Don't waste your time with this place. To begin with their dining room is closed so you have to use the drive through. I ordered the western bacon cheeseburger with a Coke Zero. Drive up and the drive thru lady sits on the curb smoking a Newport. Window cashier never opened the window to get my money because she was visiting w/employee's. When the drive thru smoker came inside she had her cigarettes on the counter where our food goes and she's on her phone showing the cashier a picture. I drive off. This is the worst Hardees I have ever been to. The staff is slow and disorganized. They have gotten my order wrong every time I have gone in. The last time I was there they were out of grilled chicken so I ordered chicken strips and they were out of ranch dip.it took 15 minutes just to take my order and get it with only one person ahead of me.The chicken was extremely salty and I couldn't eat it. No one greeted me when I entered even though 5 employees were standing behind the counter and no one thanked me when I left. The counter was sticky and the floors were filthy. As a long time local, this Hardee's has now become one of my regular breakfast locations. Many of my favorite normal restaurants are simply too overwhelmed with a huge influx of tourist this year while trying to meet COVID protection requirements. Decent sized burger. Very dry. Tastes microwaved perhaps and not grilled. I would say if you're going to spend $10 on a burger fries and a drink, there are about 10 other places you would go to before this. Inside was neat and well kept. Understandably this a a new store. About three months now. Drive thru service is NOT up to specs. for service. Its a RUSH for getting you out of the way. Better off going indoors to see the wreck in action. Team members are wanting to help you, but the Managers & shift leaders simply bark orders to each other while You, the Guests, are standing right there. No respect for their staff. She treated them as Staff, NOT TEAM members. On the food, served cold fries even when told We were waiting on fresh fries. Burger was wrapped & prepped ok enough but NOTHING like you would expect in the adds. If this is a Franchise or a Corp. store, its needs alot of help to run smoother. Decent food. They have this limited edition grilled cheese type burger that is actually really good. Not really sure what type of cheese they use, it's a weird consistency, almost like mayo. It might actually be mayo. I don't know. Clean place. Clean bathrooms. Employees are pretty nice. I had no problems here at all. Some of the tables were dirty so I did not sit at them. Service was great, nice girl behind the counter, said hello & was pleasant. They take our order, we pay and then they ask us to move up and wait... 10 mins later we go in to see what's up, they said they were on it. This shouldn't even be a full star, it should be a half or less for that matter. This place has a staff with terrible attitudes towards their customers. Threatening them, threatening to not to give them their food, making them wait 10+ minutes for burgers and onion rings that by the way they said were taking longer because they were in the fryer. This is absolutely without a doubt the worst place to eat that I have ever been to. I live right down the road, so I probably gave them more chances than they deserve, but my last experience inspired me to write this. All I wanted was a chocolate milkshake. I ended up sitting in the drive-thru line for 15 minutes, and when I was finally served my milkshake, it was half melted, 3/4 full and it looked like the whipped cream had been messily sprayed out of an empty can. This place is bad and management is horrible. The lobby is closed now sometimes because they don't have employees and call outs and 30 minute drive threw times. The district manager is sleeping with the manager even though he has a wife. Apparently they don't even try to hide it. Very unprofessional, unethical, and it carries over into the running of the place. It's always dirty now, and you cannot understand the manager very well and she doesn't mind the complaints and don't care to address or even discuss the problems of customers. The employees don't care about their job and the moral of the place is on the toilet, which is never cleaned. Another management problem. I really have not seen a restaurant in such disarray and unorganized. If you need your order fixed it will be another 30 min wait. This place is bad. read more
