Some of the best service and some of the most kind people ever! We made reservations in advance but came in on a slow Saturday. The staff greeted us immediately and any time we met someone new, they dropped off personalized business cards which are so fun! The food came out fast and all of it was amazing! Fried pickles and okra were gluten free for those GF people needing a fried food fix. The place is really cute on the inside and outside. Make reservations to be safe but overall some of the best food we have had to 30A!

Service Non/Existent.... Saturday night 6:00pm 6-24-25...... Appox. 10-12 tables full ..... timing:from seating to dinner arriving 58 minutes..... this was second time recently we have experienced same service issues. Food v. Prices that's a personal topic Check fried oyster dinner for $32.95 EXACTLY 5 oysters ( picture attached) To preface this we "have been" regulars since opening around 2015 ish. Again, this was a bad service experience.. Patron beware !!

First time visit. Called and was able to get a reservation. I like that they offer 2 different areas for outdoor seating. The service was great and the food was delicious! My husband and I enjoyed one of their specials. I had red fish and he got the tripletail. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and wonderfully seasoned. Great experience!

What a gem! We stopped in during a family vacation on 30A! We were blown away by the exceptional customer service. The owners were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The pasta was absolutely fantastic! My step mom enjoyed her crab claws, said they were the best she's had. And my girls loved their kids meals. As a mom restaurants who make chicken tenders from real chicken breast hold a special place in my heart! When we go back to 30A we will most definitely be back! The food was fresh, atmosphere was top tier!

Blue Claw appetizer! The best we have had.

Such a great experience. Grayton Seafood staff prepared fish we caught. It was exceptional. The service and team approach was the best we have experienced on 30 A.

    Crab cakes !

Food- 10/10 crab cakes came on top of garlic mashed potatoes that obviously were made in house, crab cakes were cooked perfectly. Service- have to be one of the nicest restaurant staff I have ever met. Very attentive, Nicky and Jordan never let us go unattended and accommodated me being difficult lol! The owner I believe or manager was has outstanding customer service skills was so very nice to me and my friend and even gave us recommendations on good bars around and night life. Ambiance- it is such a cute place to have dinner after a long day at the beach.

Such an amazing place!!! There is a small parking lot next to the place for cars. We came on a Friday evening around 7:45PM with no reservation and we got seated relatively quickly inside! Our waitress was such a delight and she took our drink orders. I got the Grayton beach pale ale and it was pretty decent! For the main, I got the fish of the day grilled which was triple tail that day with fries and onion rings. The fish was grilled to absolute perfection! The fries were piping hot and those were some of the best onion rings I've had in a long time. This meal was absolutely excellent! Our entire table loved everything. I would recommend a reservation as the hostess asked if we had one. The vibes are great and low key. Overall, great place to eat that isn't too flashy! P

We came here to meet some friends for dinner after seeing some great reviews. We made our reservation and got here right as they opened. I know we had a large party, but it took them a LONG time to bring out drinks. They also didn't bring out the children's food until almost an hour after ordering, and the adult's food probably another 10-15 minutes after that. The party was definitely getting restless... The food was a mixed bag. The burgers that were ordered were dry and well done when they were ordered medium, and the people who ordered them were not able to finish them. Thankfully the restaurant comped those meals. The restaurant was busy, but considering we were there at the opening, I figured it would have been better service as it would only get more hectic as time went on. Maybe it was due to the fact we were set off to the side and kinda forgotten about - out of sight, out of mind. My wife got the grilled shrimp, and I got the creole shrimp pasta, and both of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the pasta. I would consider giving them another chance and hope they were just having an off day.

Excellent service, incredible meal, wonderful ambiance! Highly recommend! Thank you for making our bday visit so special! Special shout out to Grace for helping us with the reservation over text!

Came here for dinner with friends. We had a reservation for 10 people for 5pm. I liked the reservation process. I just texted them, they responded, and I was all set. We arrived and the appointed time and sat outside. We ordered our food and the wait began. I am pretty patient and don't mind waiting because I like taking my time but after an hour I was annoyed. We had 3 little ones with us. Finally the kids meals arrived. They each had chicken fingers and fries and although I didn't eat them, the kids seemed to enjoy them and they were plentiful. We still had another 10 to 15 minute wait for the adults food to arrive. My husband and daughters burgers were overcooked. They were this side of burned. Totally dry. They did their best to eat them because at this point they were starving. I ordered a salad with blackened chicken. Fortunately mine was pretty good and I enjoyed it. My daughter and son in law enjoyed their crab cakes. The service was decent considering the place was busy. They comped the burgers which I appreciated. Overall, 3.5 stars and I would give them another try.

Grayton Seafood has a special place in my family's hearts. We came here for an impromptu reception following a semi-impromptu beach wedding of my sister and her now husband in September 2020 and now it's a must visit. We come to Grayton at least once a year (sometimes more) and came in April 2023 for a small (you guessed it, impromptu) family reunion. I don't ever finish my plate but I guess when the chefs special is blackened grouper, mashed potatoes and asparagus, it's easy. I cannot fail to mention the crab fingers (steamed and fried) - unfortunately they disappeared before I could snap a photo :) These folks even decorated our space with a happy birthday banner. That is genuine, simple customer care. The owner was at a table nearby and she greeted us and said goodbye to us. We feel like family here and that's what keeps us coming back.

While waiting, we sat at the bar. I ordered a Paloma. It was tasty and the presentation was nice. However, we saw a cockroach in the straw container on the bar. We told the bar tender and she threw half the straws away. We told her she needed to toss all of them and she did. I couldn't finish my drink after that. The wait was very long. On the phone they told us it would be 20-30 minutes. It was 2 hours. They told us the reason was because another table was overstaying, which didn't make a lot of sense. Our waitress was rude. She was annoyed we wanted separate checks and was very curt. All of us were put off by her attitude. For appetizers, we got the edamame hummus, edamame, Brussels sprouts, and shrimp lettuce wraps. The edamame hummus was weird. It didn't have a ton of flavor and the wasabi peas and ginger on top were just strange. The Brussels sprouts and shrimp wraps were good. The shrimp wrap was probably our favorite app. For my entree, I got Sandor's ravioli. It was good, but not hot. The ravioli was handmade and very cheesy. The fish was perfectly blackened. Unfortunately our bride's steak was undercooked and she didn't want to send it back after the long wait and waitress attitude. I got the key lime pie to go and it took forever to get it. We had to ask another server to get it. It was amazing, but not worth the hold up after an already negative experience. We let the manager know about our experience and while they were very apologetic and offered us a discount, our experience was what it was and we had already paid. I appreciate their acknowledgment and offer to make it right.

When we received the bill, it seemed higher than expected. Upon asking for clarification, we were told there was an 8% "packaging fee," which exceeded the local tax. This charge was not itemized as a packaging fee on the receipt--only listed as "8%"--and there was no explanation provided. Since it had been a long day and our order was already prepared, we chose to proceed with the purchase. What concerned us most was that this fee was neither disclosed on the website nor mentioned when we placed our order. We only became aware of it after questioning the total. Greater transparency would have been appreciated. If such charges were clearly communicated in advance, customers could make informed decisions. While we understand that restaurants operate with tight margins, unexpected fees leave a negative impression and ultimately influenced our decision not to return. We have enjoyed the food in the past, but at this price point, we would likely explore other options that we feel offer better overall value.
