First restaurant we had on our first day visiting Santa Rosa! There's indoor and outdoor seating with games to occupy kids. Dogs are welcome which made it so fun to see the puppies. They played in the water and just brought a lighter ambiance to the establishment. There was a singer on the outside area near the bar which just made it a good time! Parents can relax and kids can run around in the sand. We ordered the nachos, tacos, shrimp and grits, and since it was Oktoberfest, they were offering the large pretzel... the pretzel was my favorite, not sure it was worth the $ bc it was pretty pricey considering you order at the counter and have trays like school lunch. I can definitely see the appeal so maybe it was an off day for our visit.

Great spot for families, kids, and groups. We sat outside on the bay and loved the view -- plus my daughter had a blast playing with other kids in the sand area. The drinks were good and fairly priced for a vacation spot. My meal (a rice bowl) was just okay, but I think I ordered one of the less popular items. Everyone else at the table ordered fried fish/seafood and really enjoyed their meals. Overall, a fun and relaxed place to hang out and definitely family-friendly.

We wanted to grab a local bite to eat and decided to try north beach social. Upon arrival, we realized that there was face painting and arts and crafts for the kids in celebration of Dia de los muertos, so of course we had to partake. Following that, little detour, we ordered our food at the counter and proceed it to our table. I noted that all silverware, condiments, napkins were also serve - I'm of a mixed opinion on this point, especially when weight staff is dependent upon tips did income. At any rate, they brought our food out in a relatively short amount of time. The items we ordered were pretty good in terms of flavor and plating. Lucky for us.They also had items on the menu for the picky littles, as well. They had both indoor and outdoor seating - part of the outdoor seating was at the bar and the rest was picnic-style tables in the sand along the bay shore. The weather was the perfect temperature of warmth, which made for a really good experience. Items of Note: It is adjacent to the Farm and Fire restaurant, so note that parking can quickly fill up.

Came here for dinner with family. This is a go up and order yourself type of place with no waiters or anything. This place is located on the water and there are yard games in the sand for the kids to play with. There was also live music so it's a nice vibe if looking to hang out for a while. All of our food was good but not amazing. We got the pretzel bites to start which was good and our kids enjoyed them too. For my entree, I had the shrimp po boy. It was huge so at least you got a lot of for the money. I defintley could've done with less. My husband's fish was dry. He did enjoy his alcoholic drink. This is owned by the same owner's as The Bay which is one of my favorite restaurants on 30A and their food always wows me. The food here didn't wow me. I would probably choose to eat at The Bay next time for almost the same price but I could see the appeal of coming here for the atmosphere, especially with kids.

Stopped in for a quick drink and light dinner at the bar. Had the poke bowl and a Pineapple Hard Cider. Enjoyed both but the poke bowl should loose the fake crab salad, would be better with some other veggie. Looks like a fun place to come when the sun is out.

I was expecting something different so that maybe affected my experience. I didn't realize you ordered at the counter and got a table number. Food and service reminded me of quick service at Disney, not great. We wanted to enjoy the outdoor space (the reason we chose this place) but it was freezing and they had no heaters. I get it's Florida but nights can be cool. We only stayed a few minutes and had to go find somewhere warmer to hang out .

The food was very good, and there was plenty of seating inside. However it was too crowded to sit outside to enjoy the sunset. Our service was good, all the staff was very nice. The poke bowl was very refreshing, with the base of a salad instead of rice. Our whole table was able to get the food fairly quickly for how busy the restaurant was. I was very satisfied with my food and would like to return to sit outside because the view looked so pretty.

Stopped in after an art show with a group of 9 of us - love the food selection - I had simple dozen oysters and order of fries with some sparkling rose wine ! Their fries are absolutely perfect and tasty !!! Perfect combination. Others had the Grouper Cakes, Grits a ya ya, Carson Chicken Sandwich and Jumbo Shrimp. All were very tasty. This is a great place to come eat on the deck and enjoy the bay breeze. Servers were friendly and prompt and even removed plates from table when you were done ! Enjoyed our afternoon. Only "dink" was the numerous water dripping from the upper deck in several locations - not sure what the cause was but would be nice to move the tables to avoid the drips. But hey it's still a great place to hangout with family and friends - we will be back again !!

Food was great. We had the fish with black beans and fry's. The fish sandwich with fries. The kids cheeseburger which cost the same as a regular burger so I would go with a cheeseburger if you're a fan of cheese. You order and the. They bring the food to you. Place is great. We ate outside fun but the food gets cold with the wind.

There is also an indoor dining room with table clothes that feels a bit more refined. In addition to watching the bay, we were also able to do a little people watching. The crowd at the outdoor picnic tables enjoying drinks on the edge of the bay also seemed to be having a good time. Our server was awesome. She said it was her second day but I assumed she was a seasoned server for Farm & Fire. She was friendly and attentive and great with all of our questions. She had clearly studied the menu and knew the restaurant. The building has lots of different levels/elevations and stairs. Additionally, a majority of the parking is across the street. For that reason, I wouldn't take someone with limited mobility there but I enjoyed it and I would return.

It had a nice kick to it, was full of flavor, and the $10 cup was a generous portion. My partner and I both ordered a cup, and it was easily the best thing we ate. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill. We split the fried redfish basket, and for what it cost, it felt almost criminal. There wasn't a price listed, so getting the bill was a shock (especially because all the other baskets were $30). The fish itself was decent quality, but the breading was heavy, bland, and overwhelmed the redfish. The curly fries were unique, but they left both of us feeling greasy and weighed down afterward. Service was mixed. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming, and our server was pleasant as well, though it felt like there was a strong push to upsell throughout the meal. In the end, two cups of gumbo, one fried fish basket to share, and our total came to $85 including taxes and tip. Considering the quality of the fried basket, the value just wasn't there. If the fish basket alone was around $50, that price is hard to justify. It felt more like a money grab aimed at visitors than a restaurant focused on earning repeat local customers.

When we received the bill, it seemed higher than expected. Upon asking for clarification, we were told there was an 8% "packaging fee," which exceeded the local tax. This charge was not itemized as a packaging fee on the receipt--only listed as "8%"--and there was no explanation provided. Since it had been a long day and our order was already prepared, we chose to proceed with the purchase. What concerned us most was that this fee was neither disclosed on the website nor mentioned when we placed our order. We only became aware of it after questioning the total. Greater transparency would have been appreciated. If such charges were clearly communicated in advance, customers could make informed decisions. While we understand that restaurants operate with tight margins, unexpected fees leave a negative impression and ultimately influenced our decision not to return. We have enjoyed the food in the past, but at this price point, we would likely explore other options that we feel offer better overall value.
