I was tired of waiting for someone to come to aisle 17 so I decided to try the key kiosk. It was not working, so I went to the customer service desk to once again ask for assistance. The kiosk had my original key and was not releasing it. (Nor was it working to make my key) She, Ingrid, said, "That's not our machine, it's 3rd party" I asked her how I could get my key out of the machine? She said, "I don't know, it 3rd party" again. I asked her to get a manager. That never happened. I felt dismissed. I don't want anyone else to have this experience. If you want support, don't ask Ingrid and don't use the key kiosk.

First person who I spoke with told me the item was not in stock and when I asked her if any other stores had it in stock she immediately said no, it only shows one available. I asked her where that one was and she said "what do you mean?"....I said-you told me that it shows there is one available-I want to buy it, where is it? She said oh you can't buy it, it is a display. Ok.... So I then ask her how long it would take to get one if I order it? her reply was "What do you mean" Me - I am not sure how to rephrase that-your item is out of stock, I want to order one. She told me that they do not take orders... So I ask-so your company is advertising a product that is not in stock in your store, or any other store and I cannot order it-she said yes. So I asked to speam with a supervisor-perhaps that person can help me figure out how to purchase the item they are advertising. After 5 minutes on hold, another person comes on line, and after going through all the same information, he also tells me there are "not any available within at least a 100 mile radius", I ask if he can perhaps suggest a comparable pump? While still on the phone with him, I go back to the website hoping he will offer a suggestion, and the link for the pump I called about shows that it is in stock 5 miles away and ask him why it is showing they have them if there aren't any in a "100 mile radius" he says "let me check....uhhh oh...yes they show that there are 3 in stock". Are you kidding me?? So apparently BOTH of these people were too lazy to actually check and see if there any in stock anywhere else? They need to do some serious customer service training here-these associates do NOT care about customers or sales.

Buyer beware if you purchase a BBQ here…read more I purchased a Charbroil Commercial Series Grill and Griddle Combo where Lowe's will put it together and deliver to your home for free because the purchase price was greater than $400. Sounds good so far. They deliver my grill and the griddle has some kind of industrial grease on it. Please note that this is not part of seasoning the griddle as Lowe's does not preseason griddles before delivering. The delivery guys agree that this is strange and they take it back and arrange for another one to be delivered. The second grill and griddle show up with the exact same problem so I send it back again. I get a call from Lowe's asking for clarification on why I keep sending back the grills so I tell them and the rep says she will make a note in the system to make sure when they are putting the grill together that this problem does not happen a third time. Get a call a few days later that it must be a manufacturer's defect as all the the griddles have this exact same problem. Please note that as of a month later Lowe's still has this same BBQ on the floor for sale. I now have to completely cancel the order and get a refund but as multiple departments are involved I keep getting referred to someone else as the person to help me but that person keeps referring me back to the first person. After spending multiple days waiting for the delivery and time on the phone with them I have spend the better part of a day and I still don't have a BBQ. You would think that after all this someone at Lowe's management would call me and try to offer me a good deal on another BBQ but I have never heard anything from them.

My most important complaint is that some of the categories do not make sense which makes you wander around for a while before you find what you need. For example, Plumbing is not a subcategory of faucets! Rather, faucets is a subcategory of plumbing, so why did they categorize the whole section as "Faucets"? Another example? Rodent xcluder fill fabric. If you ever manage to find anything of the sort, kudos to you! One of the sales people and I went isle after isle looking for it. For some reason, every body had a different opinion as to where it should be. Everybody agreed that they have it, no one including the computer were able to locate it. Prices are usually fair. Nevertheless, shopping here is one of the least pleasant activities I have to endure.
