Whitewater Cultured Marble showers Overall Rating 5/10…read moreI've been living with the product for 2 weeks, and here is my honest review Master Bath. 9.5 /10 Pros: Easy to clean, looks nice and isn't cold like stone would be. The seams were done evenly and spaced to match the doors. I love the symmetry. Cons: you get water on the floor every time you use it, there is no way to completely close the doors. But not a huge issue if you are ok with wiping it up every shower. Kids shower. 5/10 Pros: the glass enclosure does a good job keeping the water in. Simple, timeless look Cons: If I'm honest, I regret this shower. I wish I hadn't used cultured marble. It looks terrible for the money we spent. First the seem wasn't installed horizontally to hide it. Instead they opted to put the seem vertically right down the middle of the shower wall. It looks cheap and reminds you of a mobile home shower. This is very frustrating because cultured marble was more than the real tile shower would have been. We went with cultured marble hoping it would clean up better than tile and grout, but didn't anticipate it looking so cheap. Second, the seem wasn't cleaned well, the glue they used is smeared on the outside of the seem and is already collecting dirt. I have tried removing it with goo gone, acetone and tile cleaner. Nothing has worked. So the seem gets more and more pronounced every time my kids shower. Third, there are chips in the material around the floor. The installers didn't try to fill them in, they were just left to collect dirt. Last, (this is just a preference ) I wouldn't recommend the plain, white floor. The white floor has just enough texture to capture dirt and already looks dingy. It'll require a lot more cleaning, I wish I had picked a color for the floor. Installation: 3/10 This is the hardest part of working with this company. From the moment you pick your colors and give them money you are over 2 months before the shower is done- so plan on not having a shower during this time. You have several steps: Step 1. They come measure the shower and order your pan/walls. Then they text you to schedule the next step 2-3 weeks later. Step 2. Installation of floor pan and walls Be sure to check if a pan inspection is required- we had to do this step in 2 parts because of the inspection. Each piece was 3 weeks apart. Once finished, they text you to schedule the next step, 2-3 weeks later. Step 3. Measure for glass. Then they text you to schedule the next step, 2-3 weeks out. Step 4. Install glass. Each step takes 2-3 weeks to schedule. They do not schedule a single step ahead of time (so you won't get the walls in and have the glass measured the next day) Each step has to be completed to schedule the next step, it was so frustrating! We started on October 1st and finished the install December 17 (12 weeks later) The second problem with install is the mess they made. I had to repair the ceilings and walls after they had finished due to scratches and dents. They also don't clean up when they finish. You are cleaning the glass, the panels, the floor; everything when they are done. They get caulk all around the unit so remove any trim etc. you don't want the caulk on . It is about 1/2 inch and isn't a clean line. I spent a couple hours removing product from my wood floors and repairing and repainting. This is a small issue and it wouldn't have bothered me very much, if I wasn't already frustrated it took 12 weeks to install.

After I called I found out there were actually 2 installers that were supposed to come together. Couldn't the other installer drive???? Also I took a day off work just to be there--for nothing.

We received bids from at least four local contractors, settled in on a final two, and ultimately picked Mountain States to do the work. Not only did they refinish our entire kitchen, but they also re-did our vanity in our master bath and our vanity in our guest bathroom as well. That was eight years ago. Now, we can honestly say that Mountain States did a wonderful job on our kitchen and both of our bath vanities. Honestly, I'm surprised that I didn't give them a write-up back then...but I am doing it now. And I'm also doing it now due to some recent service they provided to our kitchen slide-out drawers. In fact we make it a habit to always visit the MSK&B displays at all of the Home Shows here in Sandy. We did so again a few weeks ago for the Fall Home Show, and ended up speaking to one of the sales ladies working the booth. We explained to her some issues we were having with a few slide-out racks, and specifically the 3-level spice rack to the side of our range. She said she would get in touch with us...and she did! We don't remember her name but we did get a call directly from Natasha. I called Natasha back the other day and explained what we were looking for, and she came out Wednesday. She arrived on time and proceeded to address the spice rack issue (there was a problem with the sliders that she fixed) and inspected at least six other racks for us. She lubricated all of our pull-out sliders and now everything is working great! The best part is that all of this inspection, repair, lubrication, and adjustment service was FREE. Yes, after eight years Mountain States really came through and provided some needed service to long-term - and very satisfied - customers. Thank you! Five Stars for beautiful cabinets (8 years ago) and more recently for Natasha's personal maintenance service to our beautiful cabinetry.

The prices were excellent though, custom made and slightly cheaper than Home Depot.

Color was completely in another color. Then the side piece to the stove was cut crooked and when the installers were installing the large piece, they scatched my new microwave. I had a migraine that day and was in my living room and heard them whispering, and now I know why. When contacted they were not going to do Anything to fix what they had done, including installing the right countertop that I had selected. I then went back to Lowes and the manager at the Lehi American Fork store came to my house, said that he could see that it wasn't right and that he was gonna fix it and then did nothing!!! I then emailed five different corporate offices with Lowes and finally had a lady get back to me and I worked with her for 3 months to get the problem fixed, which during all of this, my kitchen was not able to be funct and so I could not use my sink or my dishwasher. It was very inconvenient. If you're working with bedrock courts, do not trust that the sample piece that you pick out will be what you actually get. Make sure you document everything.

Selection, measuring, and installation was excellent. I highly recommend Bedrock Quartz!read more

The sales rep that showed up was pushy and stayed in our home for hours trying to convince us to sign up although we told him we had another vendor to look at. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward project turned into a months-long process involving multiple installation attempts and significant inconvenience. After the initial installation, the shower leaked. Re-Bath returned and ultimately replaced the entire glass door, but the leakage problem remained. I provided video documentation showing where the water was escaping. Based on that information, the glass door manufacturer recommended several potential corrective measures, including adding a bulb seal between the doors, installing a dam strip at the bottom of the door, checking the stationary panel caulking, and verifying the threshold slope. When the installer returned for the third attempt, the first item investigated was the threshold. Interestingly, the threshold had been checked during the original site survey and measurement as well as a previous installation attempt yet no concerns were raised at that time. After further evaluation, it was determined that the threshold was part of the problem so I had it corrected before allowing the project to continue. Following the threshold correction and the addition of the recommended bulb seal and dam strip, the shower no longer leaks. While I am glad that the leakage issue has finally been resolved, it took three installation attempts, replacement of the door, additional modifications, months without normal use of the shower, and considerable effort on my part to reach this outcome. What is particularly disappointing is that I have had other frameless shower enclosures in previous homes that functioned properly without the need for added bulb seals or dam strips. My expectation was a professionally installed frameless shower door that performed correctly from the beginning, not one that required multiple corrective measures after repeated installation attempts. In the end, the problem was eventually resolved, and I appreciate the individuals who continued working toward a solution. However, based on my experience, I would not recommend this Re-Bath for a frameless shower door project, nor would I choose to purchase a similar installation through Home Depot again.

How she loves it and said it's very durable. I asked Connie how often slabs break she said only 1 Granite slab has broken. We purchased 2 Super white slabs from MSI a Vendor they referred us too. Both slabs broke. The first attempt at installing the 1st slab had a 2 foot fissure to the right of the sink. The installer said it's broken and can't install any part of it. Rock tops replaced 1st slab at no cost to us. They came out again for the 2nd install and when the 2nd slab was installed. It broke at installation. This time a 4 foot break all the way in a diagonal line above the cooktop. Right at eye level which is so disappointing because it's front and center and the main focal point of kitchen. When the Manager came out after the installation to see the 2nd break. Confirmed it was broke by running a credit card over it proving it was not smooth. Took a picture said he was going to talk to installers The manager then said it's basically Sandstone. He said this stuff gets fissures/breaks all the time. This is very normal. Complete opposite to what Connie said. Then tried to shift that the 2 mil it's not as durable. I said well you shouldn't sell it if you feel this way. They moved the seam with the counter top where the first slab broke by the sink. Where they ended up putting the seam and how it looks is VISUALLY unappealing. Some of the seams are extremely chipped and jagged. They did send a team to fix and although it's smooth to touch it's chipped all the way from front to back of the countertop and looks unprofessional.Above the cooktop it's now smooth but the finish is gone and have swirl makes from grinding it smooth. The break is not fixable. We have new fissures on the countertop and the caulking behind the sink is coming out. This is worrisome because it's behind the sink and gets wet so it will turn to black mold. So do yourself a favor and go with a company that does what they say and stands behind their work. Not a company that has you sign they are Not liable if any damages occur before or after. Currently in legal advice.
