I visited this Harkins Theater during peak hours and I was nervous. I normally hate movie theaters because I always encounter people being loud, using their phones, ruining the experience. I was actually quite surprised that there were only a few people using their phones for short periods of time here. The seats were comfortable and seemed clean and the woman that helped us out at the snack place was nice and efficient. I do wish that more movie theaters would take on the Alamo business model by monitoring people talking and using their phones during the movies and issue a warning first then kick them out. It would make coming to the movie theaters a once every two months or once a quarter event as opposed to once every few years.

Really nice theater. Clean and the seats are very comfortable. My favorite theater I've been to so far. Highly recommend.

First time back since COVID and I'm this case, my former review still stands. I appreciate the touch-less check in process, the full bar options and comfy seats. We typically don't partake of the movie snacks but the cocktails, beer or wine? Priorities. We saw The Batman. We also took advantage of matinee pricing and had a 5 pm showing. Thank goodness for comfy seats when your movie is three hours long. Getting in and out is painless. It was nice to be out again ;)

Harkins Theatre in Arvada is a solid theatre for any movie goer! Came here for a matinee on a Saturday and loved it. Tickets are cheaper during the day at $9 per person or $12 per person if you're attending a night show. The staff are nice and although there isn't food service at your seat you can buy drinks and snacks before you head in. As most theatres go nowadays, the seating capacity for each show room is a lot less in order to fit comfy recliners. In my opinion, you don't need recliners to watch a movie at a theatre, but I guess it's all about making the customer happy and comfortable. Anyways, they are nice and the buttons are easy to find unlike some other places that have them wedged in-between the seat. Everything started on time and the projection was awesome. The sound was crisp, clear and not too loud. Ultimately, I would be glad to watch a movie at this theatre again!

Super comfy seating with lots of room. It's our goto spot to see movies. Right next to Olde Town for dinner and a movie.

After about 30 minutes, my wife--who is always cold--started sweating and needed to step outside to cool down. She spoke with a very pleasant and professional young gentleman who immediately apologized and said he believed the A/C was having issues. My wife asked if we could come back later, and he said we could receive vouchers but would need to leave the theater. When she told me that, I decided we should take him up on the offer. Once we stepped out, we were told we had to wait in line at the concession stand for the vouchers. After waiting about 10 minutes, I asked to speak with a manager. Five minutes later, someone stepped out of the office. Before she even said a word, her body language made it clear she was annoyed. She never introduced herself--I had to ask her name. Rachel. What I cannot understand is why she chose the approach she did. She immediately insisted the A/C was working fine, yet later admitted there were cooling issues in the lobby. More importantly, she had not even bothered to walk in to the theater we were sitting in before deciding we were wrong. Things break. I get that. What I don't get is the attitude. The young employee handled the situation with professionalism and courtesy. Rachel did not. She came across as snarky, dismissive, and irritated that we were even raising the issue. When she finally provided the vouchers, it felt like she believed she was doing us a favor rather than addressing a legitimate customer concern. We had PAID for our movie and I am sure it doesn't come out of her check. Birthday movie and dinner with my wife is priceless. I have spent my entire life in customer service, and one thing I have learned is that customers are a gift, not an entitlement. We will simply vote with our wallets and not return to this location. I am disappointed not because the theater was warm, but because of how we were treated when we brought it to someone's attention.

Service was awesome! It was easy to order food, and had a server checking in with us respectfully during a movie. I think that's a hard thing to do, you've really got to know when to check in; kudos to them. Food is great portion wise! It would be great to separate alcohol & food menus. The alcohol dominates the menu, I don't drink so it was off putting to me. The theater is clean! The seats are worn out, my seat had the leather cracking. Not the biggest deal, but the small details matter; the more pressing issue is having a cup holder in between each seat. It makes sense when it's moving into the next section of paired seats, but it felt cramped & stiff unless I wasn't pulling up hard enough. All in all I'd recommend this spot! Dinner & a movie, big portions of food, and excellent customer service. It doesn't get any better unless it does!

The screens are great and crisp, sound is excellent, but the seats are horrible here. The seat cushions are way too narrow and you feel yourself sliding forward a bit. They are stiff leather seats and outdated. Also, the seats have a big two inch gap at the bottom which makes it easy to lose things behind the seat. The Westminster location has much better seats that recline. The parking is much harder here compared to Westminster. I usually park in their parking lot behind the theater or on side streets but there's also a validated garage across the street. You have to validate at the front desk before you go into your theater and that gives you 4 free hours. It's also a much sketchier location compared to Westminster, especially at night. I came back to my car to see a homeless couple shooting up drugs on the Alamo staircase behind the theater. Just be aware that's a possibility here if getting out late at night. Food is great especially the BBQ chicken pizza. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are usually great but tonight they served me them in a plate that's too cramped for the soft cookies, and they therefore became deformed and fell apart. When you charge $10 for cookies, at least have them on a plate long enough for all 3 cookies like the Westminster location. I haven't been to the Littleton location in CO, but I see no reason to ever go to this location over the Westminster one unless something is only playing here.
