My guy and I went for a long walk around Oquirrth Lake in the beautiful Daybreak Neighborhood of South Jordan. Afterwards, we checked out the new Harmons Neighborhood Grocer and decided to make a salad from the salad bar. We each customized our salads and got some chicken tenders to go with them. We noticed there was a balcony with tables upstairs, so we went up to eat our food. There was a Just Burgers so of course I had to try it! We ordered a cheeseburger to share and it was incredibly delicious! Afterward we finished eating, we walked around the store to digest our food, and found ourselves in front of the gelato counter. Shauna was there to great us with her cheerful voice and offered us samples of the freshly made gelato and sorbetto. I ended up getting a small pink grapefruit sorbetto and my guy got the limoncello sorbetto. The gelato were all really great too! We were stuffed and wanted something on the lighter side. We were about to leave, when Ari from behind the counter asked if we wanted to try some of their gourmet chocolates. She brought out a box with all kinds of chocolates. We tried 5 of the dark chocolates and the jalapeño caramel. Ooooooooh my, they were delicious! So here I was, standing there with my sorbetto cup in one hand, and piece after piece of dark chocolate in my other hand. We finally left the store and walked another 2 miles around the lake before returning home. I really love the extra friendly service at Harmons! It felt like a small neighborhood store and being sweet and pleasant was just second nature to them! How I would love to live in this neighborhood! National donut day today. Bought 4 donuts. The fritters are old and inedible. Grossest fritters ever tasted. Too much of a pain to drive back for a refund. Just an unhappy person. The jelly filled could have been prepared on the last 24 hours but they don't taste fresh today. read more

Welcome to Daybreak, Harmon's! This location is one of the smaller setups, but it's perfect for what we need here-a small grocer that carries quality items. I will forever be running over for an ingredient I forgot for dinner or a last minute local gift. I've always loved Harmons and I'm thrilled to have one in my own backyard. The gelato here is superb. They also have a café upstairs that serves burgers and fish & chip with tons of seating that overlooks the store below. The parking lot here is pretty small-I think that's intentional. With it being RIGHT in the middle of a residential area, most people will walk or bike over to pick up what they need. I'm looking forward to Harmon's being the grocer in our neighborhood. read more

There's a near "mini" Harmons in Daybreak but the best part is there is a the 2nd location for a Just Burgers on their 2nd floor where there are plenty of tables for Patrons of Harmons can go up and eat, chill and hang out with friends and family. Personally I do not live at Daybreak but like many others... I LOVE THAT AREA .. and one of my favorite pastimes is walking the neighborhoods and the lake. And now I'm thrilled that they added a Harmons -- making it convenient for my friends and family (whomever I am doing my walk with) to have a snack, a meal or Dessert! I had heard Just burger in SLC was good, think Subway sandwiches-- u order your burger and you add the toppings and sauce yourself in a mini "toppings bar". You pick between a Harmons Ground patty -- either Beef, Chicken or Impossible burger. You can make it a meal with Fries and a Fountain Drink. Starting at around $12 a meal. When your order is ready for counter pick up (and it could take a bit depending on how busy they are) you grab your burger and move to the selection of sauces and toppings. Among the Usual toppings--They even have Fresh Ground Garlic, kimchi, pineapple and pickled Beets. As little and as much as you like-- all for free. Now to my cons-- *** they don't have RANCH! when I asked for some they said they didn't carry any "up here" and indicated I can prob get some where on the 1st floor deli where they sold fried chicken. Ummm, WHAT??? *** this is Harmons! They have an EXCELLENT BAKERY! why were there no other choices for buns!? (Both Just Burger Locations here are located inside a Harmons.) *** they had marinated mushrooms in the toppings bar -- but COLD. U didnt have the option to get mushrooms added to burger while being cooked so its warm. Hmmm. Weird. ***altho the burger itself was decent. I feel like they skimped on the Fries. They were fresh indeed but I didn't get much and I'll see if its the same in the future. i did notice from other customers plates that there were some that def got more than others. *** again-- inside a grocery store.. so who why are there 2 kinds if Lettuce and arugula, but only one type of pickles and only sliced white onions. I personally love purple onions on my burgers and sandwiches. *** I was going to pick a Chicken as my protein but I realized that it was NOT a grilled piece of breast of chicken but a ground patty. So that deterred my decision. *****Lastly--- and this removed one star completely from my review--is the restroom situation at this Harmons...esp being there is a mini restaurant inside. there were only 2-3 FAMILY/ UNISEX restrooms inside this establishment and it was on the 2nd floor. There was definitely a line when I passed so I figured there would be some down on the main floor but was told those were it. Given that this was deep in neighborhoods and so many families were walking to this place with kids from their homes-- it's pretty obvious much use those 2 restrooms were being used and probably needed service/cleaning. Some people were even down in the parking lots using the construction worker's Portable restrooms! read more

I will spend a bit more for the service. The people are always nice. Especially the blonde gal at self check out. She always talks to me. She makes me feel welcome. This store is in daybreak so the customers are particularly particular. she makes me feel like I can shop there even though I'm one street out of the "Big Break". read more
