I've been a customer since Harmony purchased from Advanced Auto Pros. It's been getting worse and worse over time. Most recently, these guys had my car for over 2 weeks for a noise I was hearing. First they misdiagnosed it. Then they told me it was the transmission and had the car torn apart. Then they had no mechanic in the shop at all for a few days. Then they hired someone who said the noise was the rear struts, fixed those, but left the battery dead. During all of this time, they never called me one time with an update. Not once. They didn't tell me the misdiagnosis until way after. They didn't ask me if they could tear the car apart. They didn't tell me they had no mechanic to put it back together. I had to call myself and pester them to find out what was going on. Worse yet, the noise came back less than 2 weeks later. Take your car somewhere else. read more

I got my 1998 BMW back twice both times the car was still broke the first time the transmission failed and I had to get the card towed home the second time I asked the mechanic if everything was ok and he said yes except that the brakes needed to be fixed soon. I said ok and I didn't make it home I stopped to get gas and the car would not restart after the head gaskets were supposed to have been completed I spent over 10K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and still I can't drive the car to work. This dmg did bad job on assembled my long block. Head gasket blew in only 50 miles last year. I'll start over this summer with j2 motorsports shop n I know j2 motorsports specializes Subaru rebuild engine. I'll always remember to never come back to ur shop forever. In summary, these guys are great. Everything Vinny told me ended up being correct with no surprises. DMG reminds me of an old school neighborhood shop with the bonus of being able to do high end engine repairs. Even though I live about 60 miles from their shop I will use DMG for any major repair. I handle minor repairs myself. My 4-cylinder 2009 Ford Escape w/174,000 miles developed a misfire that I could not correct with new spark plugs, swapping ignition coils, or a new fuel injector. I bought an engine compression test kit and found low compression on one cylinder. I called 4 or 5 local shops and each of them recommended buying a used motor and doing an engine swap. I have taken good care of my car (synthetic fuel only w/regular oil changes) so I was reluctant to swap my engine that I suspected was in good condition with an unknown engine. If you do the engine swap only the motor will be warranted (good luck getting the supplier to honor it based on my web searches), but no warranty on the labor which is 2 or 3 times the cost of the used motor. I believe there is a lot of fraud on the reported engine miles on used ones. I originally planned to take the head off and take it to a shop for machining and a valve job. This is a fairly major repair that is probably on the edge of my abilities, plus I could not find the time to do it and needed to get the car running. I found DMG on another internet search, read the great reviews, dropped the car off on a Wednesday and had the car back the following Monday. I decided to replace the water pump, timing chain assembly, thermostat housing, and all fuel injectors. Vinny took a picture of the cylinders and told me the lower half of the engine looked excellent. For a similar price as an engine swap I've got essentially a new engine. DMG provides a 1-yr, 12,000 mile warranty on the work, too. I couldn't be happier. read more

I blew my engine coming from a small town called Wescliff. They rebuilt my whole engine with forged internals and I'm 2,600miles into the car and it runs amazing. Highly recommend and they were way cheaper than anyone else. The only problem is when I got my car back the window trim was broken but I can fix that. Overall they are an amazing business read more
