Due to a very odd and intermittent noise I went to 2x Toyota experts, (sic), and squandered over $1,000 on repairs that I likely didn't need and certainly didn't fix the noise with one unnamed Toytota shop with "Toy" in their name telling me, and I quote, "Turn the radio up". the best mechanic ever. Honest fast and reliable. My truck was vandalized and They were unable to find the repair part! Dodge discontinued it.. A work around was found and now I'm going camping.. Weaver did an awesome job on my vehicle! Brought in my 2016 F-Type for a coolant leak and they pressure tested the system, found the leak, repaired it, and diligently retested it. My car had some serious damage to the undercarriage and needed a new AC compressor and radiator. Tom was very understanding, talked me through everything, and was patient. My car was ready the next day, fully repaired. He even used coolant I had in the car to save me money. I will be going back, I trust him fully after this experience. I called about an issue I was having with my Jeep and he said he could get it in the next morning. After dropping it off, he called a few hours later and told me everything he had checked for to determine the cause. He gave me a fair quote on a new thermostat install. Wow. I am really surprised that Weaver's gets bad reviews. I love these guys. When I bring my car to Acura for a checkup and they tell me the things I need done and the prices - I go to Weaver's and they charge me less and let me know I really don't need the suggested services yet. Once, they needed my car for a few days, and they let me borrow a car for a day (Who has that kind of trust nowadays?) Yeah, they don't have the cheapest gas, but they are my neighborhood gas station and I like to support the local guy. They are always very friendly and have time for me. read more

I stopped in to ask if my SUV was capable of towing a trailer. The guy at Weavers Automotive (Ray or something like that) looked under my truck and told me that I didn't have a tow package but they could install one for between $250 - $300. Fine. Before I actually had them do the work, I took my SUV to Brakes Plus on Leetsdale for a radiator flush. I asked them for a quote on installing a tow package. The good people at Brakes Plus called me back to tell me that I already had a FACTORY INSTALLED tow package on my SUV. So that makes the guy at Weavers either a liar and a crook OR flat out stupid! Either way, I would advise everyone to steer clear of this place! read more

Love Weaver's. I've taken my car there for service many times, and it's always been a detailed and quick service with INCREDIBLY reasonable rates. There was a period of time when my car battery, despite being brand new, kept dying--Weaver's had to run diagnostics on it twice, but were unable to find anything technically wrong with the car. You know what they charged me? NOTHING. THEY CHARGED NOTHING. That never happens anymore! I've also rented a Uhaul box truck from them, and it was an incredibly painless and cheap (for Uhaul) experience. They get 5 major stars. read more

I have come to Weaver's twice in the past for a radiator replacement and then a battery problem. They were very friendly and helped me negotiate ordering parts in to the shop so I could keep costs down. I haven't had problems with repairs taking too long to complete at all, in fact the other day I dropped my car off at 10 am with a battery issue and by 4 pm the same day it was ready to go, only needed new cables (extra points for being honest!). This has to be the most expensive gas in town! And, the prices on the pump don't match the prices on the signs. I'm not one of those crazy folks who will waste a half hour driving around town to save pennies on a gallon of gas, but i will drive an extra few blocks down the street to find a gas station that is more reputable and doesn't try to rip you off. I brought my car to Weaver's as a 2nd opinion for a water pump/timing belt repair. They ended up telling me that not only did I need a new timing belt & water pump, but I also needed a new radiator and valve cover gasket. Tom, the mechanic, was really nice and actually showed us all the malfunctioning parts under the hood, so I felt pretty confident in their recommendations. He was able to get the car in for repairs the very next day. Initially, there was a mistake with the original quote for the cost of these repairs, and I was overcharged. But Tom called me in a timely manner, was very apologetic for the mistake, and sent me a refund check for even more than I was originally overcharged. He seems like a good and honest mechanic, and my car is running great again. read more

I have used them for a variety of things on my BMW and they have done honest work for a great price. Ising then instead of the BMW dealership has saved me a lot of money. I had my car towed to Weaver's Automotive on a Saturday evening after my serpentine belt came off while driving. When they opened Monday morning, I called the shop and Tom reassured me that they would look at my car and get back to me quickly. Within two hours they had diagnosed the issues and quoted me a price comparable to other shops in the area. Another couple hours passed and they had the car completely fixed! I was super happy with the quick service and was able to get my car back that afternoon. A couple days after I had it fixed the service engine soon light came on and the belt came off. I had it towed back to the shop and they looked at and replaced the defective belt free of charge the same day. Even though I had a little hiccup getting my car fixed I am very appreciative to Weaver's Automotive for being so prompt in fixing my car. I will definitely go back in the future. read more
