I normally don't write reviews but this was one of the worst nail experiences I've had in a while. I can't speak for the whole staff, but my nail tech did such a poor job. She rushed everything, the paint job was messy, she left a lot of uneven surface when she filed, and I had to ask her to fix all the excess paint that was on my finger. During the pedicure she did two or three strokes with the buffer with zero pressure and immediately moved on. These are some of the ugliest nails I've had in a long time. Nothing was worthwhile. I absolutely love harmony nails! I've been in Escondido for about 4 years and finally have found a nail salon that I love! They're the sweetest ladies, very friendly, their work is excellent, their massages are the best and they have multiple spa packages to choose from and tons of colors as well! I think I have had almost every nail technician in there and they are all great! Their work is consistent too which I really appreciate because I know I am going to get great nails & an amazing massage every time I go Prices are very reasonable as well. They then proceeded to just give me a French manicure and it wasn't what I wanted. Their only explanation was that's all they would do for now but to come back for anything else. It's been over two years since my first review of this place-- and I'm glad to report not a thing has changed! Still the best-- I have never seen such amazing customer service in a nail salon like Vina and Annie deliver. It's such a tiny thing but so so appreciated, they greet everyone by name-- it's not just me but everyone who comes in gets a greeeting by name. It makes you feel appreciated as a customer not just another person at the salon. My sister (who is a regular at a different salon) was even recognized by Vina when she went to buy a gift certificate. They truly care about their customers and it shows. The pedicure is luxurious, the manicure is immaculate. I hope to be a customer here for a very long time. So much so that I hope they stick around so that my one year old will one day get her nails done here. I had a pedicure done and it was a great experience -- my nails turned out great, and the massage chair was fantastic too. There is a pedi spa for everyone out there, this one was not for me. It felt cold, inhospitable. I do believe in following rules of a person's business, but from the first step being ordered 'go use sanitizer', I lost the spa feel. No questions about my skin allergies, or if I just sanitized...and it continued like that. They sit you on a tiny stool outside..maybe 8" diameter, low...I'm larger so this wasn't easy. When you finally get to sit in the spa chair, massive plexiglass is in front of you, swinging with another sign about face masks. If this sounds relaxing, go. I'm sure they do a good job as the other reviews state, but not my idea of relaxing. Glad there are many other great options in the area. read more

Scheduling with this salon is a bit of a headache. I've tried scheduling in the past for a pedi and I was told that they only took appointments. I ended up going elsewhere. Since I heard my friend liked this place, I attempted to make a second appointment for me and two others just to be told I needed to make a deposit. A deposit? When did taking my money before the service become a thing? I told the lady that I would just schedule for two people instead. She told me to call back and hung up. When I called back, she didn't answer. This place does not have the best customer management. I'm sure they're fine once you get in the door. But good luck trying. read more

LOVE this place. Showed up at around 6:15 and asked if they had time for a fill. They said it would be about 30 minutes and after dealing with a particularly difficult customer more than 30 minutes had passed. My friend and I had nothing to do so time wasn't an issue, but we felt bad because they close at 7. They accommodated us, did a FANTASTIC job and their customer service is ON POINT. I love Vina! I have been to MANY different nail salons throughout my life and this is the best one thus far. Vina is down to earth, honest, patient, and very sweet. The previous salon I was going to repeatedly lost my appointments and I was just done with it. I remembered a good pedicure at Harmony from a couple months ago and called yesterday on a whim hoping to get a last minute appointment this weekend and luckily they got me in today with Vina. She did a beautiful job on my pink & whites. I've been getting pink & white acrylics for many years and know from experience it's hard to find someone willing and able to do them, let alone do them well. I feel like I really lucked out getting a last minute appointment with Vina. The salon is clean, tools sanitized, staff wears masks, enforces social distancing and hand sanitizing, they have dividers between stations and everyone is very pleasant. I especially appreciate that they are still observing precautions even though the state restrictions have been lifted. I made my next appointment on the spot and will be a regular!
