Stopped in today to get food for my mother, who has been wanting some food from home for a while. I was told my order would take 15 minutes and it ended up taking 55 minutes. I was asked if I wanted sauce on the side, said yes, and come to find out I got no sauce at all. If I had not driven so far I would taken it all back. I understand being short staffed but this is ridiculous. I don't think I was the only one that asked if sauce was included, was told yes, and got home to find out that there was no sauce. I was really hoping the negative reviews were exaggerated but they were not. I won't be coming back. Too far to come for disappointing service. read more

I was really disappointed with my visit. The fried chicken tasted old, like it had been cooked the night before and thrown back in the fryer to reheat. Instead of being juicy and fresh, it was dry, tough, and had that unmistakable "refried" flavor that tells you it's been sitting around way too long. The restaurant has only been open for about a year, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. The music was great, the décor was nice, and everyone we encountered was friendly, kind, and down-to-earth. Our waitress, Tam, was absolutely AMAZING! She was personable, attentive, and gave us some really great recommendations on both food and drinks. And let's talk about the HAPPY HOUR! They offer happy hour EVERY DAY from 12 PM-4 PM, including weekends! That was a huge bonus for us because so many restaurants don't offer weekend happy hour. We definitely wanted to take advantage of it since this was our first visit. Here's what we ordered: Belgian Waffle & 3 Fried Chicken Wings -- The waffle came with whipped cream and a strawberry on the side. Delicious!
