I wanted chicken tenders instead I got two chicken Pattie's and then when I pointed it out she explained that's what they call tenders (smh) and asked for bread she proceeded to explain they charge for bread. This is the best fish and chips not only in the area, but in all of AZ. You actually get what you order, Cod/Catfish/Tilapia etc. Not some processed fish patty like Petes. Mandy's was good I enjoyed my fish and the little ones enjoyed their shrimp, the fries were good the little ones wanted a type of seasoned fry but overall I'd recommend it to the fish lovers!!! Great fried fish is what I grew up on growing up around Lake Erie, but in AZ GREAT fish is rare. Mandy's does not disappoint, the portions are generous, and it is not greasy at all. The professionally seasoned breading that hugs the perfectly cooked tender fish is bite after bite awesome. Tonight I met the tiny, petite Mandy and we expressed our love of her food. They offer everything from fish, shrimp, wings, chicken nuggets, burgers, sandwiches, clam strips, hush puppies, and all the usual fried side items. Mandy's Fish and Chips offers three kinds of fish, Cod, catfish, and tilapia. I ordered the two piece cod. My entree came with a side of fries and my sister and nephew had the chicken nuggets, shrimp, fries, and onion rings. The meal was good. The fish was served hot and fresh as were the fries. As I said the fish was good, just nothing really stood out, maybe I'm just not a big fish and chips fan.
