My buddy recommend these blue cheese crusted wings with buffalo dipping sauce. I don't know what they're called but at work I dubbed them "reverse buffalo wings", very enjoyable. I have not been to the Harp & Hound because it's not very close to where I live but I'll definitely have to pay them a visit, only a beer & sports on tv at the bar could make these wings better. From the pictures I believe I've been here a long time ago under different ownership but I'll definitely have to plan a Sunday football trip here & Uber home.

Steak and Three Cheese Potato Skins Steak, Brie & Fig Sandwich

The food was great! We started with the steak and 3 cheese potato skins... *chefs kiss* delicious. The potato had a nice crunch, not soggy, and a nice portion of steak on it. We both got sandwiches, the French dip and the steak, fig and Brie. The SFB was awesome. The fig balanced really well with the brie, fried onions, and steak. Will be my go to. The fries are the good fries you can only get at certain places; super crispy on the outside but still soft inside. Great vibe and all around good place for dinner and drinks.

I had a delicious wrap here for lunch! I ordered delivery via DoorDash. I ordered the shrimp and avocado wrap. It consisted of Sautéed shrimp, melted swiss, avocado, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing in a flour tortilla. I ordered without Swiss cheese. It was absolutely delish. Nice huge pieces of shrimp, and as the menu stated "crispy" bacon. Each bite I took I had a bite of everything. The balance within the wrap was the perfect ratio of each item. While I like my fries crispy, these fries weren't, but they were still delish. Seasoned well, and not overbearing. Very nice flavors all around. The wrap was super filling as well.

Stoped in for a quick bite with a friend. The service was efficient and our server checked on us frequently. I had the Birria tacos which were tasty and I would get again but not super traditional if that's what you're looking for. My friend had the spicy chicken sandwich which was good but we wished the fries were crispier. In general a good spot to stop for a snack or to watch a game.

How many people can they hold for a catered event?

We had a party of 30 in one part of the inside bar while another party was held outside. I would estimate that they could accommodate at least 50 on the outside patio. There is also a quaint dining room that could hold another 30-40 people… Read more

(I just hope that you give a break to places that suck right now) Covid stuff (for those who care): the bar has dividers, the staff all have on masks and social distancing is the norm. I've been here with friends where we all shared apps, awesome bar stuff we know and love. So you won't go wrong here. I have had the cheesesteak twice. It's not the run of the mill version. This has real meat, peppers, onions, and the perfect amount of cheese. It's not a soggy mess. It's pretty damn amazing. And disclaimer. I spend about 1/3 the year in PA where they claim to be the kings of the cheesesteak. They obviously haven't been here yet. The service. Always awesome. The bartenders are very attentive and make sure you are enjoying your time there. They also have a daily happy hour, I think it was 15% off your bill if you go during the day time. Remember to tip according to your original bill. That 15% isn't a discount on the server. Bookmark this place and really enjoy solid local place.

Since discovering TJ's, I've attended multiple events such as their Oktoberfests, their Pumpkinfests, their New Years Eve party and of course their St. Patrick's Day celebrations. For each big event they throw, they always provide extra porter potties, which is great since their bathrooms are small. They always make sure they have extra staff on to accommodate the masses of people. During the weekdays they have different specials when it comes to beer and food. On Tuesday nights they have trivia night, which is a blast but it starts around 9 and can go pretty late. Overall I definitely recommend TJ's if you're looking to go some where that you don't have to get dressed up for, that has a relaxed environment and stellar staff.

The salmon O'Brien was amazing. The sauce was amazing and I loved everything about it. The filet mignon as well. It was nice too how they came with a free small Caesar salad or garden salad. The venue is beautiful - looks like a sizable cottage from the outside with a traditional interior including spacious rooms for large groups and a full bar. Our waitress was very nice and checked in frequently to make sure everything we ordered was to our liking. In addition to their regular menu items they offer some great specials, of which we ordered some. We got an order of the Clams Casino Royale - buttery, delicious and perfectly baked. We also got their soup of the day - a creamy spinach & crab bisque which was outstanding. And for main course I ordered the cold lobster roll with sweet potato fries. The entree came with choice of green or Caesar salad which was also particularly good. My only critique was that I asked to have my leftovers wrapped up. The person who took my plate asked if I wanted what was left of my lobster roll. I said yes. When I got home the container only included my sweet potato fries which was a bummer. Despite the miscommunication about my leftovers the experience was still a good one and I'll continue to frequent this restaurant as my family has gone here for many years.

The entire bar staff is solid, and they're quick and efficient even when they may be a person down. If you're looking for something fancy, this is definitely not the place for you, but if you're looking for a small, intimate dive bar with good food, this is it. The only downside is since the bar is small, the bathroom situation is rough. There's only one stall in the women's room, so if it's busy, be prepared to wait. And they could use a bit more variety when it comes to beer on tap.

Saw this place in a local coupon book I obtained during my travels, and figured I'd check it out…read moreonce I checked their pub menu, which included the elusive Irish Scotch Egg. Tale of the disappointed tape: Mac & Cheese: the description sounded great, so I gave it a shot. Unfortunately, it missed the target, as the combination of cheeses (Béchamel, Gouda, Fontina, Gruyere, Cheddar) is bland! There is no even slightly pronounced cheese taste, not even from the cheddar cheese melted on top. I had to add my own hot sauce (Frank's and Texas Pete are my savory favorites) to liven it up a bit. Irish Scotch Egg: I'd heard about the existence of this food item while watching the British show "Broadchurch," wherein it was a running gag that the David Tennant character offers his partner a bite of his Scotch Egg, and she always refuses the offer. A Scotch Egg is a soft boiled egg enrobed in a sausage shell, rolled in bread crumbs and then either baked or fried. Sounds good, doesn't it? When I saw it on their menu I had to check it out. Unfortunately, it too was also rather bland. A soft boiled egg by itself is not exactly flavorful, but the sausage here could have been, and it just wasn't. The two eggs in the order come on a bed of shredded lettuce that had spicy mayo in it, which you definitely need to help enjoy the egg. Either that, or use your favorite hot sauce, mustard, or other condiment. I may try to make this myself, using a certain brand of sausage I've always found flavorful, and/or some chorizo. Yes, that would quite possibly work . . . Pulled Pork Sliders: three pulled pork sliders are served with your choice of sauce (BBQ or other house sauce) a dollop of cole slaw (on the slider), three slices of cucumber and a spear of lettuce. This is the only item of my order that I actually enjoyed. The BBQ sauce was decent, and well complimented the pulled pork and slaw. These I would get again if I were to return to this pub. Conclusion: pulled pork sliders FTW, but Scotch Eggs and Mac & Cheese leave more to be desired.
