Buenisimo!, If I must admit it, I find other eateries on campus to be rather pedestrian in their composure when compared to the Grundle. Although the name sounds as if to suggest an awful and comically unhealthy dining experience in the basement of a dated and unkempt dormitory, I find The Grundle to be a rather refreshing and innovative luxury that UVM students have greatly underappreciated for years. Food prepared by master chefs often finds brilliance in its simplicity. Lighting reminiscent of an upscale French bistro attracts a more romantic crowd. Sounds from others at their own tables with no music playing provides a rather raw yet engaging story of mankind. All of the Grundle's traits combine to form what is a truly magical experience tucked away in this hip eatery. My dearest Grundle, Thou art humble. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. now look, i have heard good things about the grundle and everyone has loved or hated this place. as an incoming freshman i thought "man what the heck, lets try it". I went to the grundle 5 separate times and each time, i have seen the light of god while on the toilet later. I think the worst had to be the mac and cheese this past week. now look, i was not very hopeful (seeing as my stomach had claimed revenge on me multiple times after eatting there), but i was near by so i figured it wouldn't hurt to give it one more chance. I ate a huge serving of this mac and i'll admit, it was pretty bomb diggity. And later that night, all was well ! i even treated myself to some ice cream! now one small thing to note, i'm very lactose intolerant, yet I seemed to have no problems that night. or the next morning... weird. but then, later that day, i was sitting outside doing some work when all of a sudden i had their piercing pain in my stomach. I felt a fart brewing. "oh well, it will be quiet and over soon" i thought to myself... WRONG. thank god i did not trust this fart because holy jesus christ... that was the WORST bathroom experience i have ever had in my life. i was in the singular stall handicapped toilet bathroom in my residental hall for AN HOUR AND A HALF fighting for my life. never. again. grundle. read more

This is probably my LEAST favorite place to eat in all of burlington, unless i am hungtitties. WHEN i am hungtitties, i eat 7 pieces of garlic bread, two bowls of pasta, 4 slices of pizza and a bowl of cereal. i recently discovered garlic bread is great if you dip it in chocolate soy milk. one time i went here drunk and got kicked out. sometimes when im bored i go down and take some sweatshirts that people have left behind. yea, actually this place is probably worth more than one star. oh actually though while i have your attention the dining hall is fine but the dorm SUCKS!!!! do NOT live here!! my room had asbestos AND bed bugs. on top of it all, twice i saw a mouse run across my room. dining hall: 3/5 dorm: .2/5 (.2 is for the fact my friends and i could trap without getting in trouble) read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past,but I was practically dying oF hunger so I popped in. The definit of a whole-In-the-wall. I got the regular hamburger and wow... there are no words. A classic burger done right. Crisp bun, juicy patty, stuffed with all of the essentials (ketchup, shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles). There are lots of options so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. Not much else to say except go for yourself! You won't be disappointed. Try the cheeseburger pizza it is quite a shocker. read more

Where do I even begin with this place. I'd say it's shit on a stick but to be honest there's no stick and the shits hairy. That's 100% literal. There. Is. Hair. In. The. Food. The pork is so over cooked and dry it resembles a turd that was left in the Sahara desert to dry then put in a food tray and covered in some sauce you've never heard of from a country you can't place on a map. I only mention the pork because it's all they have so if you don't eat that it really sucks to be you. On the RARE occasion where they have beef it's so over cooked it's basically jerky and it has BEEFY THICC arteries running through it. But don't worry because they will always have never ending beans and tofu so if you like that congrats your the only ones who will like it here. read more

It's actually not that bad I think, they offer students a variety of food. Most if then are very healthy. Lots of sections for you to choose what you want to eat, simply to go is one of the best things in the dinning hall. Because we can always grab few food of we don't actually have time to eat there. read more

Top notch food. The gourmet dishes prepared at this fine establishment are breathtaking. Never in my life have I witnessed an absolute genius prepare his "lucky charms" (I believe it's an Irish dish) with chocolate milk until visiting this eatery. Harris Millis is a great place to eat on the athletic campus of UVM. The prices are reasonable for breakfast and dinner but lunch could be a little cheaper. There is a great selection of food which is all freshly prepared by the friendly staff. I recommend the food at the worldview station where they frequently take your tastebuds on an international trip. My only complaint is the speed, I often find long lines for some food but if you go at an off-hour then you should be alright. read more

The Grundle. Where do I even begin? Every meal is a gift in The Grundle, a sacrament to the lords of Sodexo and a shining moment in the dark lives of suffering that we all lead. As a devout Grundler, I make sure to pay my respects there at least 5 times a day (always on the South East side). Between the endless array of salads, ethnic food, and chargrilled meats, one might think they are in a dreamscape, surrounded only by what they want most. Alas, it is the work of our heroes in The Grundle that make such a holy place shine, like the Eternal light of the people of Israel. Hashem has blessed this place with a bounty unmatched by us feeble humans. We must never abandon it, for all that we know to be good and true lies within. read more

Not a good choice for eating. Should only be used by college students that are required to use their meal plan. Mary is wonderful and makes the dining experience much better than the food can. However, as far as college cafeterias go I would say it gets the job done. read more

First off, it's not called Harris Millis dining, it's the f*****g Grundle. I grundle at least 3 times a day, it produces the worst bowel movements known to man. But Mary is an angel and I love her. On good nights, I make 3-4 appearances at late night between the times of 12 and 1:30 am. It's the perfect destination for non-sober nights even though you'll completely regret it the next day while you make roughly 8 trips in the bathroom to "drop the kids off at the pool" except the "kids" you'll be delivering won't be solid to say the least and are louder than the fresh dank you lit up that night. This review is more impressive than any assignment that I have completed at this school mainly true because I spend hours of everyday in this fine establishment instead of opening a book and doing homework. Many epic and preposterous moments have taken place here and there is absolutely no regrets. I'm done. Rogue out. read more
