Since late this afternoon, Saturday, July 16th, I cannot even sign into any Giant. Of course, since it's the weekend, I cannot reach the Customer Service Dept., since they aren't available during weekends. I'll try logging into my ACCOUNT again tomorrow on Sunday, July 17th, to sign-in to my ACCT. Hopefully, Giant, will have corrected the problem they seem to be having with accessing an already established account. I was at self-checkout purchasing a sale item when the digital coupon was not coming off correctly. I asked for assistance because the advertised promotion was not reflecting. The seafood department "manager" came over to assist. She had her baby on her hip while working. Instead of apologizing or calmly explaining what was happening with the promotion, she cursed at me and said, "Btch, you got me fcked up," and then walked away. Of course I became upset and irate because I had just been cursed at by an employee when I was simply asking for assistance. The store manager then came over and told me, "If you don't calm down, I'm not going to help you." I explained that I was extremely upset because of how the seafood employee had just spoken to me. Instead of addressing what happened or resolving the issue, the store manager walked away. At that point, I walked out of the store. What makes this even more disturbing is that the self-checkout employee and another customer came up to me afterward and said they heard how the employee spoke to me. I believe I was treated differently and unfairly because I am a Black woman. I have experienced situations in Germantown before where I felt I was being treated as though I was suspicious or a thief, but this interaction was completely unacceptable. ‼ I AM CONTACTING SAFEWAY/ALBERTSONS CORPORATE AND I EXPECT THIS INCIDENT TO BE INVESTIGATED ‼ I want the employee's conduct addressed, I want management's response investigated, and I want the pricing/coupon issue reviewed as well. This isn't about getting a coupon. It's about how I was treated while trying to get help.

I like the fact…read morethat I can go in and scan my own things and check out, but the dedicated Walmart+ lines always have people who are ringing up individual items from their cart-oftentimes with loaded carts. Why bother having a designated lane if you let anybody use it? I could be in and out in so little time if I didn't run into this problem. I've mentioned it to the staff and they don't seem to know how to change it (or care). The other issue is that the staff who are collecting items for online orders are having full-on loud conversations with someone on their phone by way of earbuds. Often times it's in a different language so I don't know what they're saying, but it is obvious they are speaking with a friend or family member! One time it went on for over 10 minutes and I know that because I wound up following behind her with my shopping. I did let management know but obviously that was ignored. Last time I was there someone stood in front of the juice refrigerator and didn't move. She turned and looked at me as I waited for her to make a selection, but she still stood there looking and looking. I finally said excuse me before grabbing something quickly, but she didn't say a word or move out of the way! That tells me that there isn't much oversight regarding these people who are shopping in the store for other customers.

I have had a mix of interactions with the staff here, nothing outwardly negative, just generally unfriendly. BUT there is a gentleman that usually works in the dairy/processed meats section and he is always SO NICE and so friendly. Even when I come in at 6 in the morning on the weekends! Overall, I like this location, and I will definitely keep visiting (obviously with the 1 million check-ins!)

The first two times it was good. The third time was a disaster. They have a fraud department. I was flagged..it happens.. They realized it was a mistake and reinstated my account. Mind you it was $250 worth of food. They reordered my delivery (another $250) and the fraud department canceled the order again! I called to fix this. A man by the name of Chris said it was "billing issue" Fraud? Billing? which one. I am for now on going to Costco. I told them they lost $15,000 worth of my business because of their incompetence.
