The fruits, salads and veggies have been fresh each time I've shopped this location. I stopped at this location last Friday night (February 2026) I stepped out of my vehicle and started to walk towards the entrance and one of the male employees informed me that they had closed the night and that the Harris a couple of minutes down Creedmoor rd was still open. It was a small interaction but, I appreciated him not letting me walk all the way up to the door to find out they were closed. *Honesty I forgot that there's another a Harris Teeter on Creedmoor Rd. I came to this location to pick up a few things during my very limited lunch period. It seems like nowadays there is a Harris Teeter just around the corner wherever I go. I completely love the layout of their stores and can get through them rather efficiently. This one was a bit different because everything was the opposite of the store where I regularly shop, It was like a brain exercise of sorts, lol! Although this HT isn't our regular location store, my husband stopped in to get a few things. He said everyone he encountered was so nice. The 2 guys in the deli named Stan & Dan were very friendly & attentive. The asst deli manager Carlton was super professional & courteous. My husband gushed about The cashier Melinda and her bagger. He said they both were the nicest grocery employees he has ever come in contact with. They really showed how much they enjoy their job. Stopped in for a few items a few times already. It's a larger store and looks clean. At the sushi station they have really good flavored rolls that aren't offered at all of other stores. I got a shrimp avacado that was really good. I have also Got a sub from the deli. Stephan was very nice and made my sub quickly. I got the tuna and he told me if I'd like to add mayo he could do that. I decide to try it as it was made originally. It was as a tuna sub usually tastes. Don't believe the label! The whole red snapper is NOT dressed but labeled as such. "Dressed" means it is scaled with both the entrails and gills removed. Our fish HAD NOT BEEN SCALED AT ALL and the GILLS were still there. If you leave the gills in, the flavor turns muddy and the fish spoils quickly. Not good to bake a fish with its gills. This may be the fault of the Nicaraguan sellers of the fish, but I do fault HT management and the seafood department for mislabeling it. Better teach your associates what "dressed" means for whole fish. Better yet, pull one out of the case and demonstrate to them how to scale it and remove the gills. HT, you owe me $26.50 for a fish that took an extra 45-minutes to prepare. (This is the same seafood department that had an entire tray of scallops in the display case labelled as "white shrimp." Whups.) This is the fault of H-T's trainers. read more

It really upsets me to post this review. I was employed at a Charlotte Harris Teeter at 15 and it was an amazing work experience. I have always championed Harris Teeter. They had pride in their work and they had pride in their prices. I was also a huge Kroger fan, when they were here in the Triangle and was devastated when they converted their stores to Harris Teeters. I am hestitant to shop here because I can't justify paying 6 dollars for a pound of grapes and 10 dollars for a 12 pack of Coke. Add, the fact that their self check-out is agonizing and takes forever. I have sat there for 10 minutes, multiple times, waiting for someone to notice that I need help to correct a miscalculation or kiosk malfunction. I really hope Harris Teeter improves their prices and their check out processes. read more

I absolutely love Harris Teeter! After moving here from Connecticut, I was looking for a grocery store that carried a variety of health-conscious options, and Harris Teeter fit the bill perfectly. My local store in North Hills was just a few blocks away from my apartment, and I'd visit at least three times a day. The store manager, Rick, always greeted customers with an outgoing personality and a passion for his job that made him feel like extended family. Just recently, I moved about 7 miles away from the North Hills neighborhood . I was feeling a little out of sorts until I went into the closest Harris Teeter, and I saw Rick's name and photo in the front of the store. I was really excited to see his smiling face again. Rick is a work horse and a really good store manager as well as a good person. This is the only grocery store chain that I will shop at becuase it's the best of the best. read more

During this difficult time of sheltering in place, there has been only a single grocery store I could count on...Harris Teeter. Specifically the Stonehenge branch. I am in the high risk category with heart issues so going in to a super market scares me right now. Too many reviews yet to write! Too many places yet to see! I was so happy that Harris Teeter continued with their excellant HTexpress lane shopping. The men and women that have been doing the personal shopping go above and beyond. When I create a list, if they had a hard to get item like TP and it wasnt on my list, they would contact me to see if I needed it. That is customer service. I admit, prior to Covid some of the newer flashy stores turned my head, but they showed they didnt have the same customer savvy HT has. I am forever grateful to the very hard workers at all grocery stores...but the folks at Stonehenge are my heroes. Thank you for all you do!!! read more

My wife started working here in the spring. A coworker had Covid. A few days later she came down sick, shortly after our two babies tested positive for Covid. My wife didn't actually get a test. Management told her she had to come to work despite living in a household with two toddlers having Covid, because "it's just like the flu now." They told her if she wants she can wear a mask, but since she didn't test positive her absence would be I excused, despite the doctor telling us everyone in the household should observe a 5-10 day quarantine. Anyone shopping there should be aware of this awesome policy: despite probably catching it from a coworker there and bringing it home to the kids, and having a doctor tell us to quarantine, management here is requiring her to work (she's going to get tested on her next day off). Aside from all that, fried chicken here is always greasy/soggy, and the pizza is doughy in the middle about half the time. Most recently the frosting doughnuts is so runny that it slides off the doughnuts and pools around them on the tray. read more

This store has definitely slipped a bit. The bathrooms need to be given more attention and the aisles do seem inordinately full of employees shopping for lazy people. All that said; I had bad customer service today in the deli and the Manager Brian was on it! He took my complaint seriously and immediately went to the deli to speak to the staff and assured me it would never happen again. I think this location has hope and I'll continue to shop here. read more

For the most part I would give the store a 10 but there is a young lady that works in the deli who needs to go! She has a bad attitude and is never helpful! When you ask her to slice your lunch meat a little thinner she rolls her eyes at you and when you ask her to put paper between your cheese slices well that's out of the question plus she put the bags where you can't reach them! Might have to start shopping at another deli! I've grown up with Wegmans so that's my preferred grocery store but was happy with HT to day was my third bad experience with the same girl in the deli that's the reason I'm posting a review! read more

This is a review just for the bakery. I have to give a shout out to them for the awesome birthday cake I recently ordered. I love that I can tell them a concept and they just go to town. I've had another one done by them in the past, but this one was the best I've seen yet. My son was really pleased! The cake was yummy and fed a crowd for a reasonable price. This is the only Harris Teeter location I have been in, so I cannot compare it to other stores of its kind, but I do like it better than Food Lion and Kroger. I do my grocery shopping around 8 or 9pm, and often times when I go to Kroger the produce has been picked over, and nothing is stocked. I'm lucky if I leave there with half the stuff I had on my list. And food lion, well don't even get me started on them. Harris Teeter has a nice selection of produce that is for the most part always fresh. I have always been able to find what i'm looking for, and the staff does a nice job of making sure everything is stocked. The prices are fairly reasonable, I think a little more pricy than Kroger, but the quality is slightly better as well. I usually get through the store quickly, and cashing out is also for the most part a painless process. I like the way the belt is set up, where the cashier unloads it for you and then someone else bags it. I will admit, I like not having to unload it myself, as lazy as that makes me sound ;-). They also have a nice selection of hot food, as well as a fresh salad bar. If you want a quick easy meal, you can get rotisserie chicken, fresh salad, pizza and sandwiches all made fresh in the store. This is a nice little perk for those with a busy lifestyle. One thing I CANNOT STAND from this store however is the deli. They carry Boar's Head deli meat and cheese, which is a good quality meat and the brand that I like, but we are forced to buy the Hillshire Farms Prepackaged meat because we cannot bear waiting in the deli line. What I am about to tell you is no exaggeration...every time we grocery shopped here before we made the switch to Hillshire, my boyfriend would go to the deli and wait for the meat while I got EVERYTHING else on the list. We would then meet at the register to pay. I am not kidding, that is how slow they move there. It was so frustrating that we had no choice but to stop getting fresh sliced deli meat, which is very disappointing. Harris Teeter has become our weekly shopping stop. I am not completely satisfied with it, but it is the best place that I have been to so far, so I guess I'm sticking with it for now! read more

I am rounding up as I'd rather give this about a 3.5. I like the one on Edwards Mill (EW) slightly better than this one. The produce selection at this one (Creedmoor) is much better than EW and so is their HT pizza selection - most likely due to the fact that they have their own pizza maker in-house. I find the EW location easier to get around and the selection of cheese seems to be better than this one. Of course, the place for cheese will always be at Whole Foods but then again, I can't get everything I need at Whole Foods either. Kroger is not so bad but I much much prefer HT over Kroger. But Food Lion? They are good for grabbing milk on a pinch. read more

After leaving the nasty Harris teeter on Strickland it felt great to come to a clean well run store. Barry really does care about this Harris teeter and it shows. I went to the deli to get a specific cheese to which I could not find and immediately Barry got a really nice lady named Sheila to assist me. Sadly I left without my cheese but Sheila helped me find another good cheese. Produce was well stocked and had a great deal on iceberg lettuce. Then the meat department was also clean and free from horrid smells. I also love the salad bar to which was well stocked and of course the olives were fresh and free from the slime residue that coated them at the Strickland road Harris teeter. Finally the front end was awesome and the clerks were very courteous. I also loved how this seems to be the only Harris teeter that genuinely cares to help one find what they are looking for even to the final point of sale. read more

Harris Teeter has really good deli sandwiches and price is great too, especially when it's on sale for $4.99 for a whole sub. Totally better than going to other deli spots where they charge more for mostly bread or charge alot more for extra meat. I ordered a philly cheese and grilled chicken hot sub and the service was great! The sandwiches were huge and super good!!! When I want a sub, first place I think of is Harris Teeter. read more

Gave this Express lane 5 stars last year. This year, they get 1 star. I'm not sure if the staff has changed, or the management, but the service had faltered. A few mistakes are no big deal, however there has been an issue with every order. I typically order weekly. For example, each order has contained a number of items not ordered, and in one order, those unordered items cost $18. Often items ordered were left off. There has been at least one produce item that is so far gone, it is inedible; this week my fresh carrots were so stale, that just bent, never broke. Lastly the shoppers don't call the number indicated on my order, so I've called them and didn't like the sub that was provided. Not a big deal, but because the order was already rung up, they offered a credit and assured that it would be refunded in the next order. That would be perfectly fine if I received the refund, but I haven't. I realize this is a first world issue, so in the scheme of things, not a big deal. However, I will suggest to use the Express lane at Lowe's or at another Harris Teeter. read more

Yes! I love Harris Teeter, it's a clean and nice store,that is important to me. Even if it's a little more pricey than the other stores that's okay, because I am not disgusted or annoyed when there, unlike when Kroger's was here... ugghhh I was always finding something nasty somewhere in the store ( one time a half eaten orange on one of the shelves and it was a little rotten so it was there a while) and the employees always seemed to be cutting up and loud. This is the nicest Harris Teeter in the area. The manager Anne is incredibly nice, friendly, and runs a tight ship. Mary in the deli makes a point to connect with all the customers and always has a smile. There are several others around with the same selection, but the service here puts it well above the rest. Definitely one of the lackluster Harris Teeter's in the area. It seems that after being built years ago it stopped trying to be clean and keep up and be a little better. Between the rude cashier, guy in the deli shoveling food in his mouth while packaging cookies and the guy cutting my deli meat having sweat POURING down his face, I doubt Ill be able to buy much here! The deli is always super slow, cashiers are slow! Today makes twice ive seen someone handling food and eating. The first time was in the fresh fruit department. Do they train these people? This is the most helpful and efficient grocery store I think I've ever been in. I'm constantly amazed.

When I grocery shop, I seek three things: great sales, good deals, gracious coupon policies. Saving money is a game for me. My first visit to this HT and first time really shopping at any HT provided all three and more: 1: digital coupons that I can load onto my VIC card and can combined with my paper coupons. 2: DOUBLE COUPONS up to 99-cents, an amazing bargain since Kroger discontinued this in lieu of "lower prices." HT sale and clearance items are next to nothing--literally--using this savings option. 3: They accept competitor's coupons, which saved me $2. 4: Samples. Who doesn't like a snack and a chance to try something new? What most impressed me was the customer service during my visit today. I (emphasis on I) mistakenly thought Wisk laundry detergent was an E-Vic item (5-6 items on sale just for you and sent to your email weekly). Charged price=$6.99; expected price=$2.97. When I addressed it at customer service, the clerk explained it was All detergent and without any hesitation gave me the difference, even though I had gotten the incorrect item. read more

This Harris Teeter sets the standard that most Harris Teeters should have, the one on leesville is terrible, the produce is always bad, the people at u-scan are always distracted, and I feel like they never have enough help at night. If tyou are dusabled and need a motorized cart..DONT go here....nit only do they not keep them charged...after complaining 3 times about my cart dying.on 3 consecutive visits...they just gave excuses and said I hope you have a better day... people don't understand how to give customer servic.... basically makingvexcuses that they can't keep up with it I would have said Ma'am why dont you call me before you shop and I'll make sure there's a charge cart waiting for you or even give a $5 off coupon... nothing and the last manager that I talk to in the store who I won't embarrass on the internet. .pretty much laughed at me..and said people use them..we cant keep up..lol... first of all there's not a run of handicapped people in the store...and there are 4/5 carts... but they're not all accesible..probably one get used all the time and never plugged in..good customer service is so rare..maybe they dont pay enough..probably people aren't trained..definitely someone doesnt care read more

Harris teeter has good food and decent prices. But at this particular location I went in looking for a snack and a couple other things. I was walking in the back of the store towards to the cold cuts refrigerators and suddenly found myself on the ground, in a full on puddle of water. There was no wet floor sign in the vecinity of said puddle, so i grabbed the one closest to me about 10 ft away and plaved it where i had fallen so no one else would. I slipped and fell, further injuring my left big toe (which already has tendinitis..) another customer (to my embarrassment) saw me fall and made sure I was ok. I got up, pants soaked, and grabbed what I needed quickly so that I could leave before anyone thought I peed myself or something. On the way out I saw an employee at the desk by self checkout and mentioned it to her. She did not seem to care much other than asking if any other employee had seen me fall. She didn't ask if I was ok, and didn't apologize. Unacceptable. read more
