I love this Harris Teeter location! Always stocked, friendly staff and a great area of town!

I love this Harris Teeter so much. My husband and I like to meet for a beer at the bar after work. We then grab food to eat and have a little date dinner in the bar area. He usually goes for the sushi while I may grab a sandwich or a slice of pizza. Their pizza is so great! The bar also has half priced drink night and a night that a live band plays. HT is great for grocery shopping too. We stock up on cheese when they have a buy one/get one special or even a buy two/get three special. They have a great beer and wine selection too! There are always great promotions. We eat high protein and love that HT has Ratio yogurt, Quest chips, Fairlife shakes, and other options that fit into our high protein on-the-go lives. read more

This location just can't handle the traffic. Store layout is awful, with people always fighting to get in and out of the one narrow entrance. It's usually impossible to navigate the produce section with employees blocking almost every aisle during peak hours. If you think you've finally made it out, the self checkout will surely accuse you of shoplifting and require an employee to watch a video with less than a dozen pixels on the screen showing you not shoplifting. I've stopped going here since I just leave angry every time. read more

Stopped in here to grab some essentials while in town. I always love going to the Teet because they have food bars, Starbucks and anything you think you want or need. This particular one also has a wine bar. I thought that was cool. Grabbed some water, produce and other essentials. read more

i had a situation tonight in regards to my dog, she is a service animal and I do have documentation on her. I had a gentleman approach and become aggressive towards myself and the table I was with. My friend did defend me but my dog stayed calm and relaxed. The gentleman approached again aggressively with his dog and lunged at mine and claimed his dog was a service animal and mine was a pet. I don't put the vest on her because most know who she is, my fault. Molly; the co manager (I missed his name) and the security guard were amazing and wonderful at deescalating everything. I feel terrible about what happened but I appreciate them and will continue shopping and coming here for their excellent service and care read more

Great place to shop for meat and seafood. All of the people in the meat department are friendly and will go out of their way to get you exactly what you want. I know this personally after a terrible experience with another Harristeeter. Down side- vegetable department not so great- old lettuce (still pricey) employees don't even try to move so you can get stuff out of the coolers (3 people stocking same area no body would move -they were talking and laughing) Check out people not very friendly. But Harris Teeter is the closest I'll get for now and this location rocks it out. I have a new pizza spot. Harris Teeter ( Brier Creek) has the best pizza and for only $3 a slice!!!They are serving up good sized slices with lots of varieties and flavor. I had the bbq with bacon and sausage and the pepperoni and sausage. Both were delicious. The meat and cheese is plentiful. If they are just taking the pie out of the oven that's even better. If not they are always willing to heat it for you. You can't beat it for the price. Good service and always looks clean it the pizza area. I'm also glad it's not self serve line Whole Foods. Worst pharmacy in the area. Staff is rude and unhelpful. They are incredibly slow and unable to accommodate any changes or respond to any concerns. They like taking long breaks and seem to try to work the minimum possible in a day. Staff seem to delight in being unresponsive and uncaring. read more

Very good Harris Teeter where I stopped this evening for some snacks. Most of my time at the deli counter where the lady who served me was friendly and quick. The store is very clean and brightly lit. There was no trash in the parking lot and the cart corrals were all clear. Shelves well stocked and prices clearly marked. Enough registers were open and the young man working the self-checkout was ready for any issues. A very pleasant shopping experience. I'm still a fan of Harris Teeter. Overall, this is a great Harris Teeter. It is large and very clean. There is a huge selection of items and the employees are always very friendly and open to helping. Everyone wears a mask at all times in the store so that is great also! The only reason I am not giving the store five stars is because when I went to get a sub today, I see that they removed the vegetarian roasted/grilled option from their menu. Are used to always get subs from them because I am vegetarian and that was an option for me but I was sad to see you today that they removed it. I wish they would think more of their vegetarian customers in this area of the store. As I said before this is a great location and I highly recommend! read more

MY UNBIASED OPINION- Absolutely love this place!! Harris Teeter is really changing the "grocery store" perception. I am loving everything about this location. Go during the day. At night they are not as stocked in the fresh produce department but it's ok. Still a large variety of selection. They have a bar inside, several bars. A hot bar, an Asian bar, a pizza bar, a cheese bar, a trail mix bar, a fruit salad bar, a salad bar and a wine and spirits bar. They have it all. The variety is so large here you can't go wrong. If no one else has it, Harris Teeter has it! Quick and speedy self checkout. Plenty of grocery items on sale. Starbucks inside!!!! With plenty of seating. Come here on lunch and eat or dinner. So many choices here. This is a one stop shop and should be your number one pick for grocery stores. read more

Inside store has great customer service but the fuel station is definitely lacking, went to refuel and pump shit off cashier never said why or assisted, but continued his phone cal the. Said he didn't know why it did that. Customers should be a priority but sone places lack that. I hope this gets corrected. Other than that the employees inside the store were excellent. read more

Definitely one of my favorite places to shop. Coupons and spotting deals is essential. They have a bar, pizza station, salad station, and hot bar. Thus far all of the food and beverages have been good. Great customer service! The store is always neat and organized. Today I had an omelet which comes with a toasted bagel for 4.99. You can legit have breakfast do your grocery shopping and grab lunch to go. They also have a starbucks cafe. Redbox is also in here. I love this harris teeter location. read more

I was shopping on Tuesday around 2:00 p.m. . All the sale items were no longer showing the sale prices on the shelf. It made it extremely hard to shop for the items that I had come after that I had viewed in the ads. When I asked a clerk about it she gave a very short almost sarcastic remark about how it has to be done early. This is unacceptable to take your sale prices down this early. I was a file maintenance clerk years ago and we did it after the store was closed. read more

Gotta love your local grocery store right? This location is in the heart of Brier Creek Right off Highway 70 a.k.a. Glenwood. It's convenient to access and their staff is great-- friendly, knowledgeable, but they never seem to have enough cashiers. I personally appreciate that their produce is always fresh and I never have to search for my seafood. Make sure to sign up for their evic card so you can get all the deals, don't let life catch you slippin and paying full price when you don't have to. My biggest con is that their prosciutto, from the deli is no bueno. Gonna have to hit a Publix for that deliciousness. Otherwise it's a typical Harris Teeter, slightly overpriced but good deals when they have them. read more

I like this Harris Teeter. May e because it's so close to my house or maybe because they have a pretty good cheese selection. Maybe because they have fresh thick-cut bacon you can buy by the pound from the fresh meat/seafood section. Only need 4 slices of peppered bacon for that Cobb salad? Go to Harris Teeter and just get what you need. I know I mentioned their cheese already but they often have a nice and varied selection and mostly good prices. Not as many cheese choices as Whole Foods, but also not as expensive. And definitely more cheese choices than Publix AND it's generally less expensive. Oh yeah, the meat section? Good luck finding ground lamb at Publix; you won't! You can here though. Also, even though Publix is from Florida, this Harris Teeter often has fresher seafood with a better selection and better prices. It is actually my go to for seafood in general. Sure customer service isn't always great (especially at the front of house end) and the often times are low or out of things in an unpredictable manner, and produce is definitely hit or miss, but overall its not a bad place to shop. Go there for fresh meats and seafood for sure. Definitely Whole Foods for produce, and Publix as the in-between. read more

I have been living in the Brier Creek area for the past 3 years. Imagine our pleasant surprise to one day hear news of a new Harris Teeter location breaking ground just behind the apartment where I live! There was literally nothing in the area where this new Harris Teeter is now, but once they opened, the whole area has been popping and buzzing with activity. This Harris Teeter location has now become our Go-to for fresh groceries, salad, bread, dairy and everything else in between. The amazing thing about this location (and I don't know if this is true of all Harris Teeter locations) is the humongous size and acreage once you step inside. They encourage you to not only shop for your daily groceries but stop to grab a bite to eat, maybe some healthy salad, how about some asian stir-fry, a slice of cheesy pizza or some southern cooking and you can end it with some freshly-filled cannolis! Or if you just want to park your cart and grab a drink or two, well hello, there's a place for that too! Wine, beer, drink specials.. you name it, Harris Teeter has you covered! There's also a Starbucks right near the entrance to boost you in your daily dose of caffeine should you need the energy and willpower to push that over-flowing shopping cart from aisle to aisle. I'm sure there are areas of the store I haven't been too, and hence I have not mentioned here because it really is that damn big! But it's always fun moving from aisle to aisle discovering new treats because the selection is truly astonishing although a tad pricey so beware! I'm not familiar with Harris Teeter as a chain, so I can't compare this store to others. I can say that the produce looks good and the store is well lit. However, the prices are crazy high! Example: the apples were literally 3x the cost from the Food Lion down the street. I can't say that I always notice small price differences, but that was dramatic. Seems like a good place for pre-made hot foods and a close Starbucks :) read more

There's always watermelons out there and it's very hot and quite often it smells sour and the floors out there are filthy I think they should be cleaned a little more often . Came for groceries and ended up getting buzzed. Pretty cool to take a chillax at the bar in the grocery store. Always a great time at Bar 304. Daily specials and local brews make this a hidden gem where you can enjoy beer and sports. Tonight's specials were Spanish reds but the bartender suggested a Carolina Bock (awesome) and a sour beer Brueprint Lime coconut summer. Both excellent options and I felt amazing walking away from the barstool. It's a go to spot when you don't want to deal with crazy crowds . read more

Thank the grocery store gods for this Harris Teeter! I've lived in Brier Creek for over four years, and was always perplexed by the nearby grocery options (or lack thereof). I know, I know...first world problems, when there are literal food desserts in certain pockets of the city, but still - only being able to choose between Food Lion, Lowes and Earthfare was such a bummer before this HT opened. This HT is HUGE and has everything that you could possibly want (and lots of things that you didn't even know that you wanted lol). The layout is super thoughtful, and while it's usually pretty busy, I'm normally in and out in no time. The prices are high, but that's not a shocker (they don't call it Harris Cheater for nothing!), but when you consider the quality and selection, it's definitely worth it. As a single person, I hit up the hot bar a few times a week - at minimum. Cooking for one is tough, and when you factor in money and time spent prepping, cooking and cleaning, sometimes it just makes more sense to grab something from the bar and call it a day. I want to say that i am a frequent customer at this particular Harris Teeter, and have been coming here since they opened. This review will be honest of what they have to offer as a new location. Sorry this review is so large, and also took me so long to write. This store is so large i had to experience EVERYTHING before i could think about writing my review. Overall Prices: What i have noticed is in terms of grocery stores that this one offers the price for about 2$ more than what you can get if you went to Walmart or to like Food Lion. That is the one downside, some items are super expensive, others make it worth it. Bar: I really love coming to the bar the most. The bar tenders know me personally, and know my name; and are great for conversation. I wish i could tip them in the system, but the system won't let me for some odd reason which is a downer because for all the work they do for me they really deserve tips. I just never carry cash! The wine selection is really great, they have decent prices on the wine, and its always a packed area. You can eat your food there, and pay for it there as well to make it more convenient. Wine selection: They have a nice variety of wines. I really enjoy the 14 hands Moscatto the most, and i enjoy the 7 moons red wine blend. I also enjoy the Eve Chardonnay. They always have great sales on wines for customers, in the back you can also find wine glasses ect. Seafood area: This is really great because if you ask them to steam say lobster, crab, or anything they have there they will do so in their steamer and even add old bay seasoning! Meat selection: The prices seem reasonable for meat. I sometimes pick up a half pound of beef or something if im in the store for lunch, and need something for dinner. Deli selection: This store has Boars Head products! Yay! They sell the products at decent prices, and will cut it to whatever cut you want. If you tell them you need like 2.00 $ worth of Provolone they will do that for you. They also have cheap meal options if you don't feel like cooking. Cheese selection: They have like a LOT of cheese at this store. You can get pretty much anything from Mozerella to Blue Cheese to Stilton. They can even cut it for you if the piece is too big if its wrapped a certain way. Bread selection: They have a nice assortment of rolls. I just got about 6 rolls for like 4.00 today personally which gave me a lot of meals as a college student. They also can custom cut loafs if you need them to. Bakery: They have a variety of items. The baked goods are always cooked to perfection. Hot Bar: This is the only downside, I really am not a fan of the hot bar. The reason being not enough things on it that i would probably pay for. They have a great wings selection, ect. A lot of customers seem to go for it though. If you are just stopping by for work lunch, go right ahead. They even have pizza. Starbucks: Speedy service. The drinks they always make for me are always made how i like them. Staff are friendly. Sometimes they run out of things like cake pops, which is a downside but its inside a Harris Teeter so. Ya know. Mochi Bar: What is this mochi? I am still not sure. I tried it and it was kinda fun. You should try it as well. Mochi. Lobster Wendsday: This is a really big deal for normal shoppers here. Okay. You get a whole lobster for 11.99. A whole lobster. Dinner. I mean baked potato, corn, sour cream, and butter, and a whole lobster for 11.99. This is SO worth it. They sell out of lobsters almost every Wendsday so dont bother past probably like oh id say 5:30 because they will be GONE. They also sell lobster crackers in the store in the small appliances isle to help you out. The lobster meal is something i do every Wendsday though and i think others should give it a try one night! The lines usually out the door for this night! **Comment from customers and my personal idea: Uh Dear Harris Teeter - Just a note. The customers think it would be a great idea to start a system like you have at the deli where you can grab numbers, and that is who gets a lobster first to avoid the line idea, then when your number pops up on a screen you can get your lobster, and continue to shop in the store. Just an idea. Everyone likes this idea and it may make lobster day smoother for yall. Omelette Sunday: This was mediocre. I got a huge omlette though with a bagel which took care of breakfast that morning. They have like 3 different cheeses and a lot of toppings. Saves me from having to make a trip to school to get my breakfast on weekends which is nice. Floral section: They have a florist, and they have gift baskets that you can buy for family members or loved ones. I have honestly yet to experience this but the flowers seem pretty so. Go for that as well. Overall Opinion: Overly priced, but very nice customer service, and great lobster! I would try this place out if you have not already! read more

One of the biggest supermarkets I've ever seen. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They have pretty much anything you can think of, and their fresh/hot food area is immense with tons of choices. Fully-functioning beer and wine bar as well, so after running errands, you can try to score with lonely shoppers/alcoholics. read more

Its shiny new and so much bigger than the one on Strickland I have been driving so far to get to! I love that this is in close relation to brier creek and has everything I need! There are so many extra perks of this location versus the others in the area. Pizza bar, sushi made fresh, Asian bar, salad bar, Home style cooking bar, Wine and Beer area, Starbucks, fresh made bread, pharmacy, need I say more! This location has been super busy since opening and I am hoping it will soon level out, because the parking has been fun to find even with how large the parking lot is. I have also used the grocery pickup and had a good experience, they were out of stock on only a couple of items and were courteous about making substitutions and matching the price of the out of stock item. read more

Options galore! Lots of hot bar options, a bar, starbucks, and a huge store. What is missing? A decent organic selection. I honestly don't think there's a much bigger selection than Lowe's down the road and Lowe's rarely has a line while this place is a bit of a mad house. The two times I've been in, I had to wait for a several people in front of me in line to check out. Any grocery that has to print maps (yes, they have them) is just too big for me. So I had a bad experience with the pickup option. All of my items didn't ring up correctly as far as pricing which I found out later was partly my fault bc I ordered ahead and you can't do that with sales items. Well the manager on duty was super accommodating and made sure I left the store satisfied. Harris Teeter typically operates with integrity compared to competition which is why I continue to shop there. I like it so much I have a Harris Teeter card. This Harris teeter is the best one because of the customer service and all of the high quality options-bar, vast array of veggies and fruit options, fresh seafood market and it's just a massive store overall. This review is for the food/salad bar. Been to this location a few times since it opened. Today I decided to check out there food bar area since it's always busy. Arrived around 11:45am, the salad and fruit bar was stocked. Walked to the Asian bar- they had a variety selection of food from noodles, rice, veggies egg rolls, teriyaki chicken etc. Really wanted to try the hot bar but the worker was telling everyone to return in 15 min so she could label food. That food was chicken, mac n cheese etc. I walked over to the sushi area and it looked great, the ladies were rolling fresh sushi and stocking food. Looked over and saw they had a sandwich area which was what I got. The sandwich area offers daily deals. Today's deal was 1/2 off sandwiches for $3.49! Sold! They have great selection of bread,deli meat, and toppings. I ordered a turkey on cheese bread- amazing!!! Walked over to the bar area and today they had a glass of wine special for $2 and Octoberfest beer for $4! Best cheap lunch in a while! Best was we shared a sandwich and Asian bar plate. It was a filing lunch, I will be back for the dinner station which opens after 4! read more

This is a relatively new store with a huge selection. Groceries run a little high at HT, so we typically just buy produce (great quality!) and odds-and-ends. The bar is a big draw for us. They have daily specials, and a steadily rotating selection of quality beer. The beer prices are unbeatable for the area, and the bartenders are always great. read more

Very clean. Very nice. The Asian Bar is always properly marked and maintained. The Breakfast got bar is marked properly. The dinner is rarely marked properly, or not marked at all? After many months and truly more than 10 complaints to managers, why can't someone walk over and confirm? MBWA. Check. Confirm. Verify. Taste the food.
