Great Pub in the center of Tipp City. Good food, full bar, and decent craft beer selection. Very comfortable.

I dined at this establishment last night and was shocked at the price I paid for some shrimp cocktail. It was $10.50 and I only got 4 shrimps. Also if you are planning at sitting at your table and getting alcoholic beverages good luck. I had to wait 15 minutes for my first drink and 15 minutes for my second drink and they weren't even busy. I did not have a good experience here and doubt if I ever go back. read more

Superb Tasty Great From the food to the live music every Saturday night, Harrison's is terrific. This restaurant is superb because of the many options on the menu, to the pictures of downtown Tipp City. Harrison's food is so good, I would recommend the buffalo chicken salad, the penne pomodoro, or the Cowboy burger. We have eaten here several times the last couple years. Not sure if they have new Cook but dishes just are not the same. I use to love their Chicken Piccata. The last few times I ordered, it was just very bland. Chicken not browned and no where near enough lemon. Surf and turf was great. read more

I wanted to like it. I really did. Our server was awesome and friendly, but the good quality stops there. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun. Driving back to Columbus Ohio from Troy and jumped off 75 to have dinner at Harrison's. Place was hopping and headed to the bar as there were a few seats available. Greeted immediately by Molly who was outstanding and only enhanced our overall dining experience! Thursday special is Cabbage Rolls (1 roll is lunch portion and 2 Rolls is dinner portion) served with mashed potatoes and a side of rye bread. Cabbage Rolls are some of the best I have ever eaten!! I managed to finish the dinner portion but too stuffed afterwards for dessert! I love rye bread and it was super fresh and very tasty!! We drove about 45 minutes to give this place a try. They had good food and great service We really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a nice hometown restaurant. Definitely recommend coming for dinner. They always have specials and that is what we tried when we were there. If we didn't live so far we would definitely be back. However, if we are ever in there area I would definitely make it back. Had a great experience eating here. Our server was very attentive to our every need, the food came out quickly and piping hot, and the atmosphere was great. The three people in my party all got three totally different items and we were all very pleased with our dishes. There's a lot of variety on the menu which is great for my picky family. The only reason I didn't rate Harrison's a 5 star was because we got a lunch order to go and got home and realized we didn't get what we had ordered. But even the meal we got was scarfed down by my husband who, in between mouthfuls, said it was delicious! Can't wait to try this restaurant out again! read more

Food and service have always been an A+ I used to go there regularly and have never had a problem with service time or conditions of food. If you go to a place like this with time constraints you should reconsider your dining options. The menu here is diverse and I don't know anyone who has gotten something 'bad' yet. read more

Dined here several times now over the past few years. The decor is interesting, decent, reclaimed late 1800 store front. Food is marginal, to good at it best. Sevice is hit and miss. They wanted $300 deposit to take a reservation for 20 people, WOW! you bring in 20 meals worth business and they want $300 guarantee?? Very disappointed tonight. The steak and shrimp were fine. But the cheddar grits were dry. They tasted like instant grits and just put shredded cheddar on them. The ranch dressing for the salad was very watery; like they were trying to stretch out their supply. And the apple pie, which was advertised as having spice added to it, was extremely salty and very off-putting. read more

Not happy with the staff at this establishment. Was told there was a 40 minute wait - was actually 60 minutes outside in the cold. Once our name was called they sat us in the bar at a high top table for my 76 year old mother next to the live entertainment. The hostess was very rude- they were busy but she was awful and rude! The waiter came and took our drink order. I ask what the house cab was, which he told me and then asked what other Cab wine they had - he very curtly said look at the wine list and with his head motioned to the wine list on the center of the table. He never asked me again about ordering a drink so I had to go to the bar to get a drink. Once the drinks were brought the waiter served over the table without saying excuse me. The appetizers came and the dishes had finger prints all over them and were dirty. The nachos were decent but the dishes were dirty. No napkins whatsoever were given to us with our messy nacho plate. Entrees arrived cold and with no silver ware. The flat bread pizza was completely burnt and hard. We ordered two of them and they both were hard as bricks. My daughter ordered the penne paste and said it was good. That was the only positive comment we can make about this restaurant. Overall - awful service and rude staff. The food - except penne paste- was bad. We should have stayed at Bada Bing instead of Bada Boom!! Won't ever come here again! read more

We left Columbus this morning and went to Greenville for the Garst Museum. Afterwards, we drove down to Tipp City and found Harrison's Restaurant. We absolutely loved dining here! Very diverse menu and the food was excellent. So much so, that we placed an order to go after we had eaten! We had a short wait, nothing too long. Waitress was friendly. Turkey chili was a bit bland and Medium Well Burger was quite overdone. BBQ Sauce has a strong mustard flavor that I didn't like at all. Totally recommend this place, especially on Mondays! The flat iron steak specials are amazing! 6oz for 8.59 and 12oz for 12.95 with green beans and baked potato, cooked to perfection. Rivals some of the best steakhouses around that's for sure. read more

Harrison's has 5-star wings- some of the best I've ever had! I highly recommend Wing Night- 50 cents a wing, and they're meaty and crispy! My favorite sauce was the Rowdy sauce- a heavenly blend of all of their sauces. I also had the Classic Buffalo and Spicy Garlic. I'm getting hungry just writing this! Today was my second visit (July 6, 2019). It will for sure be my last. I was seated at a booth right next to the kitchen. The bread plate that I was given was soiled with crusty residue from a previous guest. There was so much "leftovers" that I could feel it. GROSS....I looked at the door that lead to the kitchen and noticed the grime....not just your basic dirt ( although there were food crumbs all over the doorway) on the bottom hinge and surrounding floor space. I said to myself....wow....if they have things this dirty for the public to see in the dining area how much dirtier might the kitchen be behind the door? I didn't have to wonder any longer as I got to see first hand all the dirt and food scraps on the floor every time the door opened. I lost my appetite fast. I didn't miss much....the turkey burger that I ordered was over cooked and dry. The server never offered any condiments or did a good job checking back. It was a total waste of time and money. I came there with my son to have a nice mother/son lunch. The whole experience was a complete downer. Yuck..Yuck...Yuck! Run away...... read more

First time visit, absolutely amazing meal. Service was perfect, even on a busy Saturday night we were seated quickly and very well attended to. We had Prime Rib and the City Mac. Both were amazing. The Prime was cooked perfectly and the Mac and Cheese had an extremely artistic blend of flavors. Leave room for dessert, because the Creme brulee is made there and was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. We came in late this evening. My Husband, our three kids and my parents and I were sat promptly. I was very unsure about our server when he approached the table. We eat here fairly often, not enough to be regular guests, but we knew that we had never seen him before. The last male server we had was awful. My suspicion was so misplaced. Justin was phenomenal. He made certain that he gave us his undivided attention, looking everyone directly in the eye while they ordered. He timed the courses perfectly. Which is something we can never seem to get right here. Most of the time we've taken two bites from our salads and our food gets delivered. For the first time since we've started going here, that wasnt an issue. We had the perfect amount of time with appetizers, salads, and our main course. All the while we never had an empty drink which for 7 people who all have multiple drinks going... I was very impressed. The food was great, but this service is one I'll remember for a very long time. The way he connects with you is unlike anywhere I've eaten before. Last night I had the pleasure of being surprised by my wife with a 70th birthday party. We were in the party room up stairs and our waitresses was Susan. Not only was the food outstanding the service Susan provided was timely, quick and superb. Serving 19 people had to be a challenge and a challenge that was performed well. My filet mignon was very tender and done to profection making it the best filet if had around the Dayton area for quite some time. I would definitely go back and encourage friends to do the same. read more

Harrison's in Tipp City...usually a pretty good place to dine. Tonight I passed over a few favorites to try the Pastrami Stack sandwich. Bad choice. It was served with homemade chips which were fantastic, and the "pastrami" was served with Swiss cheese on marbled rye. I took a bite and discovered that it was not pastrami at all, but corned beef. There was no evidence of the traditional hand-rubbed peppercorns nor distinctive taste. I called the server, who told me that the cook trims all the hand-rubbed crushed peppercorns from the meat after smoking. I said "Why on earth would he do that??? That just isn't done! Besides, there is no pastrami taste...you served me corned beef". The manager came over and told me the same lame story. I explained that I worked my first two years of college serving pastrami and other deli sandwiches and that I know the difference. They offered to give me another selection, but I didn't switch as the corned beef sandwich was really ok, just not what I ordered. I would have been okay with it if they admitted to substituting corned beef for the pastrami, but they did not and stuck up for the kitchen staff instead. Expensive for what you get and service was slow and seemed almost passive aggressive. The blackened fish my wife got was really well done but that was the only bright spot. read more
