Every one is happy and pleasant but then again you live on the best island that has the #3 best beach (Flamenco). I had the machi machi. Excellent choice! Plus the rice and beans which I grew up on, however they did not make them with sofrito which is really the secret ingredient to making them. But still delicious nonetheless. How you get that much flavor in nachos is impressive. For the shrimp, we were expecting, in usual Puertorican style, a couple of lettuce leaves as a side. It was a heaping arugula salad with six spicy shrimp on top! Such a nice treat on this island where true greens are hard to come by. The tuna was served with a mango salsa and was also excellent. Now let's turn to the wine list. On this island, its Tempranillo, Malbec or Rioja (gets boring fast!) or crappy California swill. Azul has a very nice selection of wines by the bottle which include a lovely Spanish wine from Priorat. Wines from Priorat are some of my favorite - inky, dark and smoky.
