The plumber phoned me AFTER he completed the job and informed me that he had to pick up a shower head. (I was charged for the trip.) I informed him that I had mentioned both a shower hose and shower head. When I asked the total, he said it was around $200 but that he needed to submit the bill. Well, I received the bill and was beyond shocked that the installation was $580! I asked for an itemized bill and was told that it wasn't standard procedure. I am dumbfounded, as to why I was charged to pick up a shower head, esspecially when I included a picture of both a shower head and hose. I am asking for an itemized bill and refund for the difference that was not quoted. Moreover, and more importantly, Maurehan Plumbing failed to inform me of the charges beforehand and had I been informed of $580 charge, I would not have given my consent. It was a broken toilet seat, they did not need to come out...but when they did, they left the automatic functions of the toilet not working. They literally broke it, demanded to be paid...and ordered a toilet seat. After i paid the 250 visit fee they said they would not do the repair. They took my money, broke my toilet, and then refuse to finish the job. They don't take credit cards, so you dont have that recourse....obviously they have scammed before. Although we weren't able to 100% see where the scent came from he was able to rule out any leaks. After Snaking the foul odor gradually went away and I believe whatever the issue was, was solved. He recommended we also call again to have a camera check for any possible clogs we might have not been able to get to, but he definitely fixed the issue. After snaking the odor was gone. I thanked him for his time. I did a thorough seach and finally found Mike's number. I called explained the situation, sent pictures and a short video of the leak. Mike came out with his helper in what seemed like 30 minutes and removed and replaced the faucet and hoses in 10 minutes!! His price was very reasonable and again the courtesy, professionalism, and knowledge displayed is above and beyond. The response time is epic. We discussed over the phone with detailed pics of the spot and size etc. once you get over sticker shock of the cost, everything went great. Since I was dealing with insurance I had to get two quotes and picked a highly rated company on Next Door. Both companies were professional and quick on the quote but the prices were over $1,000 different for a smaller unit 40 versus 50 gallon, but same maker etc. Based on response time, follow through and people skills, and price I highly recommend Pasadena Plumbing. Only issue is both companies gave a one line quote. Insurance requires a broken out quote which they complied with quickly.

I had two problems: a root clogged main sewer drain, and leaky drainage pipes…read more Edmond did a serious diagnosis. He crawled underneath the house, found a leak and took pictures. Then he gave me a reasonable estimate for unclogging the sewer pipe. It was less than the previous plumbers were asking for just a diagnosis!! So of course I agreed. He did a very thorough job, running the high power drain cleaner twice all the way to the city sewer pipe. Odor and sewage backing up problem solved for the time being. He showed me the root problem by running a pro grade pipe cam down the drainage pipe. He also used a device to find the exact spot where the roots were growing into the pipe.
