I've had pretty good luck with Harte service and I do some of my own especially minor maintenance, so last month I spent $12 and bought a new cabin air filter for my Q50 and took the 5 minutes to install it, imagine my surprise when I was told that my cabin filter needed to be replaced and I could get that done for $129.00 and I was due for transmission fluid and AWD fluid exchange. Yes well pass on all that. For clarity on the work that they actually did for me, it was fairly priced but all the other things I was offered. Yeah I could have spent $1000 for a $12 filter a few sprays of intake cleaner and $50 worth of fluids. read more

brought my car Friday for a diagnostic. they told me my transmission was shot and it would be 13,634$ for a new one . I had to tow my car home . I brought my car to a local transmission specialized shop and although they knew they could've made the money off of me the checked it and said everything was great on my transmission. and advised to check the computer on it . they didn't want to charge me either but I paid all while INFINITI tried to charge me 2 diagnostics and a new transmission. 10/10 don't recommend Harte infiniti! read more

He took the time to explain the difference between both cars and we test drove both cars. The deal was pretty easy and we bought a black essential. we recently purchased a certified pre-owned Maxima from this establishment. they provided us with the checklist stating all pre-check and certification was completed. This was not true. The air filter was black(not replaced), tires were not were not the same brand, nor specific to the vehicle, wheels were scraped, and the checklist sheet said some of the features were N/A even though the car has them. I keep getting surprised each time I have maintenance done. They did not go through the car thoroughly. The dealer is not interested in any concerns expressed. I'm not sure why all the bad reviews. We just moved into the area and left a 4.5 star Infiniti dealership so I was slightly hesitant to bring my car here based on the reviews. My experience couldn't have been more delightful. I spoke with a very polite & helpful woman on the phone when making my appointment. Upon arrival, I was prompted to pull right into the service bay and immediately was greeted by several employees. I was there for a maintenance appointment (oil change & tire rotation). The service was polite & prompt. I enjoyed a coffee & watched HGTV while waiting. We've always been loyal to another make of vehicles but this is our first Infiniti. Even though we purchased at another out of state dealership, I'm looking forward to Harte Infiniti taking care of our QX60 as I have nothing negative to say about my experience this afternoon. read more

Nightmare! BEWARE Up date. My sons car was in mint condition except for the power loss. We towed it in because we were that careful of taking good care of it. WE DROVE THE CAR. Now it wont turn on? Had to junk a fantastic car. $1,200 tires 2 weeks old?This dealership stripped this car!!! I told them it was loosing power. I had the same problem with my last Infinity. Engine was fine not one code showed up. Than after 1 hour they said,' we will need another 2 hours to find the problem.'? Did They know they wouldnt find problem in one more hour? Strange isnt that? This alone is a red flag. I am still upset that they ripped me off. They went through the glove compartment and put all the papers in a bag! Who told them to go in my sons glovebox? They did this for a reason that i dont like! Had car towed to be safe. Than they say a brake problem. Why even check my brakes when i didnt say there was any problem there? All of a sudden there is no timing chain? How could i drive at all. I couldnt be there, told them i was not rich and they saw an easy mark. To tell me i need a whole new Turbo engine every 140,000 miles is crazy.Car started perfectly, engine was fine. Not 1 code, I drove the car and was loosing power. Same situation as my last Infiniti. I told them what was wrong. They put it on the diagnistic and no problems showed. They tell me another 2 hours to find the problem not 1 hour but 2, smh. $725 for them to destroy the car. It no longer starts , they said it needs a timing chain, a whole new engine, that coolant was getting in the oil. Mind you, THE CAR DROVE. NOW IT DOESNT WORK AT ALL. THEY WANT $16,000 to fix the car and was mad because we arent doing the work there. We arent doing anything. Who can pay $16,000? We still owe $20,000 on the car. It had 140,000 miles and they said it would need a new engine every 140,000 miles. Are they out of their minds. I will be pursuing the situation with my attorney and motor vehicle and the Chamber of commerce. NIGHTMARE THAT THEY BLAME THE OWNER FOR. THEY BROKE MY CAR! Car stripping. read more

I have bought a fair share of vehicles in my day. Have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing sales professionals as well as the disgust of sleezy scumbags. Bobby at Harte Infiniti was in neither category. He was just there. On top of the mediocre experience, the final straw was when we picked up the 2023 certified QX that we paid an arm, leg and a couple of elbows for it only had half a tank of gas. When I brought it to Bobs attention, he stated "you didnt buy a new car, used cars come with only half a tank of gas" in an extremely rude manner. I bit my tongue and ended the conversation. Frankly, I am not certain if this is actually Harte Infinitis policy, but if it is, wowwww!!! Beyond discourteous. Dealerships profits margins are super inflated especially in the current market and they dont have the decency of putting an additional $43.37 in gas for their newly acquired customer. One and done. Will never be coming back to this dealership again. Dont let the 4.5 star rating fool you. They have a total of 88 ONE star reviews(I scrolled and counted). Thats almost 10% of the total reviews. The wife and I stopped by Harte Infiniti in Hartford one early Saturday afternoon to look at a 2015 QX60 in their inventory. We were met by Hasham Chaudhry who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Once the wife and I decided the vehicle was something we were very interested in, the sales team wanted to rush and seal the deal that day. I told them let's wait, get it in good order and cleaned and we can close the deal during the week. But oh no, let's do this now, staff is on hand ready to please. So we waited over 5 hours for Service to get everything ready as it was being sold as Certified Pre-Owned and over to the detail department. By the time we left, it was dark and I didn't get a chance to check under the hood to make certain everything was good. The next day I popped the hood to find the oil overfilled, the coolant reservoir bone dry, the electric power steering fluid reservoir bone dry, both air and cabin filters completely covered in filth and corrosion on the battery cables. Looking over the CPO checklist, these things were marked off as reviewed and in good order. I was surprised because the vehicle had less than 15,000 miles! It appears they completely skirted, or rushed the inspection to get us out the door that Saturday. The next Saturday I brought it in to have all the items addressed by the service department. When I re-checked the fluid levels, I found the electric power steering fluid overfilled. I asked the Service Manager about the level and said he'd have the lead technician look at it. The lead tech glanced at it and said "yeah, it's fine." I promptly went home and removed the overfilled fluid to the correct level. So I have zero confidence in their service department. Too bad my experience went downhill because the sales folks were very friendly and accommodating. The final insult to injury is they only give you a half tank of gas for a CPO purchase. Pretty surprising for a premium brand with a loftier CPO price. read more

I had brought my car in to be serviced by the Harte Infiniti dealership. I went with getting my car serviced here because they are certified technicians that specialize in working with my Infiniti vehicle. I thought I would be treated with the best quality service possible but I was wrong. I paid over 3,000 dollars to have my car repaired. Not once did they tell me that they did not inspect the oil to see if there was any metal in the oil that would cause my motor to fail. After getting my water pump and ac fixed in less than one week later my ac stopped working. I brought it back and they told me that one of rings were bent and installed incorrectly and they needed to replace and recharge the ac. I also stated to them the car was jerking more than usual and asked them what was going on. They stated to me there was some debris and they needed to change another unknown part. After fixing the ac again and changing the unknown part. They insured me the car and issued was resolved and safe to drive. Less than a week later I'm driving on the highway with my newborn and my vehicle broke down in the middle of the highway. Put my life and family in danger. After getting my car towed and bringing it back in now for the third time within a month they tell me they "dropped the oil pan" and noticed metal in the oil and they can not start the motor. After insuring me the second time bringing it back in that the issue was resolved and safe to drive. They mentioned to me that I would need to buy a new motor. I was extremely taken back and confused as to why wasn't this done in the first place or even the second time after insuring me it was safe to drive. I tried speaking to the owner of the dealership to only be put down and belittled. I was told we are not going back and forth and that I needed to decided what I was going to do as well as they threatened me numerous times that they would call the cops on me if I did not return the loaner. I was very respectful the entire time. I've never felt so disrespected and treated this way at a dealership. I'm a loyal customer of Infiniti and thought that the dealership would treat me and my car with quality customer service. I was even interested in purchasing a new vehicle but after being threatened multiple times and treated with such disrespect I'm appalled and lost all trust in this dealership. I had a recall on my FX35 for the Tanaka airbag and my air bag light was on. Upon arriving I notice a very very expensive Porsche 911 parked in the service entrance. Asking who car belongs to, it was of course the owner Hart. Want a slap in the face to all the Infiniti customers to shove a 911 in their face. How about putting a nice Infinti there instead. Next, it took them three days to replace the airbag. When I went pick up my FX the airbag light was still on. When I asked why, the answer was it would cost me $150 diagnostics charge to find out. No really I'm serious! They supposedly replace my airbag and never bothered to check out why the warning light was on. These guys are all about paying for the owners Porsche and not doing what's right. Don't believe me? Just watch one of their goofy tv commercials with the two HART CLOWNS! We had an absolute painless buying experience here. We purchased a high mileage used SUV for our second car. The price negotiations were painless & the staff were very helpful. Our only complaint with the buying process was in the F&I office signing our paperwork. The finance gal was very verbal with her Trump bashing. I just think your political views should be left out of business transactions, especially with new customers that don't know you. After the sale, we had an issue with the transmission on our SUV. As it turned out, the incorrect transmission fluid was used on the transmission. We had the work done at a Toyota dealership, who diagnosed the issue. The team at Harte Infiniti management team helped us with $200 toward the cost of these repairs after having the vehicle for a few months. We thought that was a real class act thing to do. It's not often that businesses make it right, especially in the car business. Should we need another vehicle, we would definitely visit these guys again! Good job! read more

Was looking for a used Infiniti. Both cars we looked at had scratches and missing paint that had not been addressed. Not a huge problem. Next we were told that to get the Internet price we needed to take a loan from Infiniti. Nothing on the website mentioned this. Then we couldn't nail down if the car was CPO or not. First it wasn't, then it was, then it was if we paid another $690. What absolutely killed the deal was the trade in value determination. The "expert" gave us the trade in value for a base model and not the top of the line model we had. There is no reason for this type of unethical and misleading behavior. So far not very impressed by this Dealership. I guess I expected more from a high end Dealership. We bought a SUV on January 2nd and we were at the Dealership for hours, we were never even offered a water. They really have no waiting room just a few chairs in the showroom at least that is all I saw. They were very shady on giving us information up front as far as the interest rate which was terrible even though we were advised by our Sales Consultant Yasmine they should by able to match my credit union. Now I have to refinance the loan with my credit Union. They still haven't sent the correct paperwork to my insurance agent so we can get the registration so we can have the car inspected. I made calls and so has both my insurance agent and my insurance company. Very poor customer service which according to theses reviews hasn't changed much over the years. I doubt I would buy a car from them again. Do better Harte Inifiniti ! When I picked my car up I inquired where this exorbitant labor price of $750 to replace one rear shock came from. I was told from the computer. When I asked to see it, the computer was allegedly down which was just part of your fraud. I was an insurance auto collision claims director and knew you were trying to screw me! There's two other times Harte tried to defraud me. On a lease buy back for my wife's G35 you tried to charge me $200 for an inspection. After I called DMV they told you it was against CT law. Then you tried to charge us for extra lease interest until my check reached Infiniti Finance. Again, not allowed and another flagrant gouge. Brought my brand new car to get fixed and when I went to pick it up the whole front of my car was messed up (I mean BAD like my front grill is hanging off) I've been trying to talk to the manager of the service department Dominique but she's never available and my service representative that I had Joe always gives me the runaround and never calls back after he said he would check the cameras because he knows my car wasn't like that before it got there!! Great sales women Ms. Rosario help my husband and l out with a purchase of our Infiniti. She was beyond friendly and helpful. We had came from another state to get this vehicle. The process felt a lot longer then any of our past car purchases. The reason why we aren't giving it 5 stars is because the detailing service was horrible. The outside of the vehicle was still dirty and even the interior. They stated they only do a full detailing when they receive the vehicle. I was told that I'd be able to get a loaner if I waited 1 week to drop off my truck for service. I waited..left work early, brought my car here, with my children and was told there was told not only was there NO loaner available, but also I would not even get a loaner since I did not purchase the vehicle from here and was told to go back to my dealer. My dealer shut down permanently a few months ago, so what am I supposed to do? I don't have that option! THIS IS NOT WAS I WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE. I waited 30 min to speak with a manager however they were too busy. I can't tell you how inconvenient and frustrating this has been. I would have NEVER made an appt if I knew I weren't getting a loaner while my truck was worked on. And they didn't offer anything at all to make up for this. I was recently shocked to find these guys will go to any length to squeeze a buck from you including falsifying documents. When challenged, they band together in spouting falsehoods and spinning facts into dramatic flights of fantasy. I am not amused. After a lifetime in the car business I thought I have more or less seen it all. Not even close as it turns out. The people here act like they are big business tycoons--above the law and such they can bully you with machismo and deceit. This does not reflect in any way on the other Harte properties. This was my first visit to Harte since moving to the Hartford area from L.A. I currently own a G37s Convertible and was scoping out this place to get service, but I also wanted to shop for an AWD Infiniti for the cold weather months. The salesperson was low-pressure and nice, and let me test drive 2 vehicles. He also introduced me to the service department and the car detailing place that they do business with. So far, I'm pretty happy with the vibe and treatment I got from this dealership and will be back. UPDATE: I was called by 2 of their customer service staff to follow-up on my visit. When I returned their call, they didn't even know who I was and then just went through the motions of making sure I had a good experience. It was a pretty lame attempt; what's the point of calling me if you don't really care? This took them from 4 stars to 3. UPDATE 2: I'm restoring them to 4 stars based on my experience with the service department so far. Also, the salesman I worked with was cool. UPDATE 3: While they dealt with some difficult repairs well, my car was dusty when I picked it up. I leased a new 2017 Q60 from this dealership in July of this year and was told that it had remote start, this one of the most important feature I was looking for on this vehicle, salesman said "Not to worry it was on the vehicle". After signing the lease and handed the keys I discovered there was no remote start. I reported this back to the salesman and manager the day I drove out of the dealership, The Sales rep said there would be an additional cost of $500 to install the remote start and that Harte would not do this due to voided some warrantees and contract . No one at Harte or at Infinity Corporate takes responsibility for resolving issues in favor of the customer. I will pass this news on to as many people as I can and will post in FaceBook. The car I was sold would not start from the first day, due to a dead battery, on the day I went to test drive the vehicle. After buying the car, the brakes made noise from week two. I brought it to service 4 times and the noise got worse. Finance told me the noise was something I could live with because they had more expensive car that made noise. I took the car to the manufacturers service department and they confirm that the rotors and pads needed replacing$600+, this all in the first month, within 90 days of buying the car. Called and spoke to the head manager, Tony, who said the vehicles price was less because they were not going to fix anything wrong with the car. This purchase was based on a referral from a family member who said they do good business but good business would have been investing in the repairs for the safety of the customer who was going to buy a second vehicle worth $40,000 (2 @ $56,000) you decide but buyer beware!!! read more

Alex the sales gent was responsive to an inquiry we put through the website and the sales manager was great. We were shopping and only had one day to fit 3 test drives in. We checked out the Explorer and a Highlander but the JX ride was by far the best. We came back to the dealership and had a very fair deal with our trade worked out in little time. 2 days later took delivery (which sometimes takes a while but Asher was very helpful with Mass registration and other nuances of our area). No problems, very easy process. Great car... great dealer, I highly recommend giving Harte a try. I can certainly tell you you will not be lied to or whatever others may have believed to have experienced. Buying a car can be stressful but Harte made it fun for me and my wife. read more

Decent transaction for buying a used BMW from an Infiniti dealer. Anower was great to deal with. Really like-able guy. Service was friendly and professional. I didn't like being dicked around with the financing though. Classic bait and switch interest rate change. Have excellent credit, and only when we found other financing would they budge on their rate. A lot of small things were missed. Was promised an alignment and new remote battery. Neither was done or ready. Car was not ready when we arrived. Gas was not filled, and bmw license plate screws weren't available. We had to wait for those things. Car was cleaned and detailed. They made me an appointment at a local bmw dealership for me to go get what they promised fixed which was very inconvenient. No pressure sales. Had nice waiting room with free snacks and drinks. They are not really free, because of the $600 conveyance fee. Laid back place. People are cool. More of a 3.5 star experience. Just got alignment and battery replaced today. Had to pay out of my pocket. Harte said to bring them the receipt and they'd reimburse me. read more

My experience: Sales team (Howard) was great, but had the nerve ask for a review of their services prior to the deal closing, which I found uncomfortable and strange, but obliged. Also found it odd that we weren't apart of any negotiation, only "... let me go ask my boss..." My nephew asked me if I had the salesman phone number, which I did so I texted the salesman asking if I could share his phone number with my nephew, he agrees.... Found out afterwards they "financed" both lease vehicles in both me and my spouses name (making each of us liable for over 1k in loan payments per month), even though they were separate transactions, that included us each turning in our respective vehicles, which I was not aware of at the time, only coming up months later when I apply for a mortgage. I immediately call Infinity, where I got nowhere, since not one of my calls has been returned by the finance guy, Carmen. Then, I called to speak with the salesman I used, he had also left within weeks... but not surprisingly, he answers me via text for a sales call... but clearly has no interest in service after the deal was closed... I just make the payments and plan to turn the cars in as required. Hoping nothing goes wrong, but I will never do business again with these folks. read more

Dealt with hasham and was super annoyed. Every question we asked about fixing scratches, changing, rims, negotiating price, everything was a flat out no. He was extremely rude and rushing. Never had an experience like this before. Was lied to as if we didnt understand the car buying process. Said he couldnt run credit without a deposit which i know is false. He just wanted to hold my money to give me a reason to come back if i decided to change my mind when i went home as it was late and he told me he would run my credit and call me in the morning. The cars he showed me had deep scratches in it and i asked if there was anything they could do about the scratches before i purchased the vehicle and he flat out said no. Didnt bother to ask or even try to make me feel better about making the vehicle look better. He was being very pushy with leaving a deposit when he saw i was starting to back out. Great first experience at the service department. I brought my Q60 in for what seemed like a small repair and regular maintenance but unfortunately the repair was bigger and worse than expected. They gave me a brand new Q50 to use while my car was in the shop. The repair process was smooth, the prices were fair and I learned a lot about my car by talking to the mechanic. In modern times, anyone can search the internet for price information, etc. They actually have pre-printed sales agreements that add on unnecessary items such as vin etch, etc. - had the nerve to claim that vin etch was required by law in CT and every customer had to pay for it. When we showed up to test drive the car, they actually had the sales agreement ready to sign with $200 off the sticker price- unbelievable. I have leased a QX60 from the dealership in end of 2013. I guess one should not trust salesperson, but I did and paid dearly for it, overpriced lease. Anyway, there were a few things I wanted note in this review. 1. The salesperson ignored my communications for expiring temp plate after 1st text me message, all phone calls and text messages to provide either a plate or another temp before expiration. 2. I was left with an expired temp plate for 9 days 3. Dealership managements did not call call me back after I left a few vms. Once I have called the Infiniti/Nissan Corporation to reported the issue it was rectify. The dealership management gave me dealer plate and have me tried to sign some documents that make me responsible for any damage and liability with the plate. I ignored it. I just couldn't understand the "ignorance" from the dealership until this day and would not forget it probably for awhile. BTW, there should be negative rating in my opinion.
