Given that there's no direct competition in a 10 mile radius (and I would argue even past that 10 mile radius the pickings are slim) the price is justifiable for the quality you get. As someone who treks a lot around the state, I find that there are many bakeries that do similar if not better items for comparable if not lower prices. But to ask someone to drive 30-60 minutes just to get something a couple bucks cheaper that's tastes about the same? It's a hard sale. I will say that Luanne's is the best in that area of the state, not including the small boutique places that are well off the beaten path. I still come here for the view and ambiance, but I don't order much of their food.

On this occasion my mom got a Cappuccino and I got their White Chocolate Blueberry Latte. The presentation was lovely, the cappuccino arrived in a beautiful terracotta mug, that was filled to the brim. At first sip, my mom immediately identified the coffee beans, "This is Giv!" She proclaimed and she was instantly in a good mood. My latte was also made using Giv beans, this is obvious by the richness of the coffee. We had an Orange Scone ($3.99), a Cheddar Rosemary Herb Biscuit ($3.99), a 12 -ounce regular coffee ($2.79), and a 16-ounce dark coffee ($3.29). My biscuit was wonderful, savory, flavorful, soft and fresh! My wife's Orange Scone was great with a nice orange flavor. Both versions of the drip coffee were flavorful and satisfying. There is a small dining room where you can sit and enjoy your meal, and I'm sure you will be as struck as we were by the elegant blue/black and white design everywhere. The room is quite gorgeous. I usually prefer not to try chai lattes/ chai because hardly any cafes get the taste of chai right. But the chai at BOP is very close to Indian chai taste. * iced latte with oat milk and gulab jamun sweetener - I usually don't like how oat milk overpowers the taste of an iced latte but for whatever reason I didn't have that issue with the iced latte at BOP.
