The overall quality of food and service is good enough to justify coming even if you're not viewing the collection (tell them at the desk so you don't pay admission for art you're not there to see). The menu is compact, but imaginative and varied and the food is high quality. The dining room borders the courtyard making for a nice setting (cool wall treatment too) and seasonal outdoor seating. I opted for a Reuben: nicely balanced on a tasty marbled bread. Out server Alycia wisely advised me to upgrade from fries to Brussels sprouts with the amazing (for Hartford) vino cotto sauce. Easily the best deal in town, they are delicious! On the downside, the little side of cold bean salad was bland and some workman was going at something pretty hard with a hammer drill during lunch service. I therefore have to ding them a star. On the bright side, the work's probably finished by now so you can have a relaxing meal. Something a little different and fun whether you're an art connoisseur or not!
