    A box of delicious donuts
    Matt M.

I am so thankful that Pana Donuts came to the East Side of Indianapolis. Before Pana, we didn't have a great option for fresh donuts that was close by. Greenfield has a great family-owned donut shop and McCordsville has a hidden gem that is easy to drive past. But when you want to surprise your kids with morning treats, it's hard to make a 40 minute round trip for donuts. And I refuse to "dunk in" to that other chain that merely warms up frozen donuts. Fortunately, Pana is just 7 minutes away from my home in Cumberland. While Pana has multiple locations, it isn't just a normal chain. I always felt like it had local business and family-owned vibes. And I guess my intuition was correct! Pana began in 2019 (right before Covid hit! How did a new business even survive?) by Arron Sok and his family who moved here from Cambodia in 2013. Pana donuts are based on an original family recipe. How amazing is their story! You could easily rush into Pana and think it is just another donut shop. That's how donut shops go, right? You're in and out as fast as you can so you can get back home as quickly as possible before your kids take breakfast into their own hands. But if you slow down and take a moment to really observe what is going on, you'll realize that Pana is special. It feels different. Maybe I'm crazy and trying to wax a little too poetic about a local donut place. But after reading their story, I knew my feelings had been correct all along. When you visit Pana, you are a part of something, and that something is what our world desperately needs right now.

Can't comment too much. Went through the drive thru and only got a glazed donut because there is competition and wanted to try one. Glazed donut was good. Just a little doughy. Sorry, My list still goes: #1 Longs #2 Parlor #3 Tim's But let me know if Pana have GF and or dairy frr and they might move up the list.

This location of PANA is in a repurposed strip mall space. The inside is a little sparse with four tables and the donut counter. There were lots of donut options at 9:30 this morning. They also serve coffee. My granddaughter picked out a colorful sprinkle topped donut and I took a glazed. Jay served us and she was friendly and fast. The tables inside are clean. The donuts were melt-in-your-mouth fresh. They disappeared quickly. My glazed donut was not overly sweet, just perfect. You can also get sandwiches here. I didn't see any go out. The restrooms could use some attention. There is plenty of parking but handicapped access over the curb and parking is not close. There is accessibility at the other end of the strip mall.

I tried the yeast donuts with raspberry filling and a cinnamon roll. Both of them were amazing. The yeast stuffed raspberry donuts were pillowy and light. The raspberry filing was in every bite. The cinnamon roll also didn't disappoint. The right amount of cinnamon glaze on ad throughout the donut. This place never misses. The staff are always pleasant and professional.

This place is OK. They have a good selection of donuts. They also have the basics for drinks--coffee, juice, and soda. Not much special. HOWEVER holy cow their cream filled long donuts are amazing. Definitely one of the best cream filled donuts I have ever had. If you go get the cream filled for sure. This location also had a lot of bees inside. Like I saw a family swat two bees. I swatted one. And there were several dead bees on the floor. They need to call and pest control and get the bees removed or killed. Overall this is a decent place. 4 stars on food. 2 stars for the bee issue. 3 overall. Come here and get a dozen to go, make sure the dozen has cream filled, and don't hand around the bees too long...

Great customer service greeted me as soon as I walked in. They have a variety of fresh daily made donuts. I got the red velvet and a Mangonada. Both were so good. I can't wait to come back and try more. The donuts are $1.49 a piece and $5.99 for a Mangonada.

I saw there was a new Pana on Washington street which isn't too far from my work so during lunch I decided to go over to get a Milk Tea and donut. The location is in a strip mall by Walmart. There was a good amount of parking space. The location is bigger than the other Pana's I have been to. There was plenty of seating. They had tons of donuts as well. I ordered a taro milk tea with boba and a chocolate cream bar. The service was fast and friendly. The drink and the donut were great. I'm happy to see another location and hopefully the east side embraces them

I was really happy to see PANA donuts open! I had been watching the progress because it is near my house! I ordered two dozen donuts with a wide variety. I took donuts to my neighbor and she was very happy with the special delivery. The donuts were fresh and delicious! I loved the cake donuts and twist yeast. I will definitely be back soon!

    So many options

Pana donut has cake, yeast, and plenty of drinks. Handmade donuts made fresh daily. Locally owned and operated.

This is an amazing business that supports teachers in our Warren school system and show appreciation to the teachers for all the hard work they do

Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. And as someone who normally isn't much of a slaw person, I was surprised by how much I loved it. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been in awhile.

I had the southwestern salad with buffalo chicken. It had corn and tortilla strips (which I left off), black beans, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and bleu cheese dressing. It was super fresh and very flavorful. The chicken actually had a good buffalo flavor which many claim to have but don't. We also tried the Nutella crepes with bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and Nutella. In addition to being very large, it had a great taste and was very fresh. Another hit for sure. The avocado toast with salmon was really good. The flavors were spot on and as with the other food, very fresh and well prepared. The brisket burger patty melt was also done perfectly. The brisket patty was a perfect medium and the onions were grilled just right. We opted for mayonnaise instead of the Thousand Island dressing it comes with. The other dressing may have been good but the mayo really paired well. Finally, the club sandwich was again prepared perfectly. Fresh meat, perfectly toasted bread (some places under toast and many over toast) - it was quite tasty. **Bluebeard... wtf**…read more Bluebeard has been on my Indianapolis restaurant list since I moved here from Chicago in 2021. I've found some really great restaurants here over the years, so I was especially excited to finally make it to Bluebeard. Each year during Devour, my husband and I pick a restaurant for each other as a surprise, and this year I chose Bluebeard. We had a 6:15 reservation and arrived about 10 minutes late due to traffic. I apologized, and we were promptly seated. Unfortunately, that's where the experience started to go downhill. Our server took about 15 minutes to come over, and although our appetizer arrived quickly (chips&dip), our drinks took another 15 minutes. I held off on ordering our meal because I wanted to do the Devour menu with the wine pairing. The food & drinks was a mixed bag: - Beauregard cocktail: 10/10 - Chips & avocado ranch dip: 8/10 - Crudo: 9/10 - Smoked fish dip: 4/10 - Mushroom ravioli: 8/10 - Short Rib Ragu: 3/10 - Chocolate crème brûlée: 3/10 There were definitely some great dishes, but the slow service and inconsistent food were disappointing for a restaurant with this reputation. The biggest issue came toward the end of the meal. The hostess came to our table and told us we needed to hurry because she needed the table for another reservation. **We were still waiting for dessert.** I explained that the service had been very slow and that we were waiting on our desserts. Our server apologized and said the hostess likely didn't realize what had been happening and was under stress. I completely understand that Devour can bring in more traffic than usual, but that's also something a restaurant at this level needs to be prepared to handle. We shouldn't have been made to feel rushed when the delays were not on our end. I really wanted to love Bluebeard after having it on my list for five years, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. For comparison, some of my favorite Indy restaurants for both food and service are Bocca, Union 50, Matador, Rosemary & Olive, Tinker Street, Strange Bird, Delicia, and Bodhi. Maybe we caught Bluebeard on an off night, but for me, this experience fell short.
