What a breath of fresh air. A pleasant surprise! From Sheratons to Marriott. I'm so bored with hotel menus NOT HERE! What a diverse menu. Trout Meatloaf Salmon Pork bellies Quinoa Ribs Pizzas Awesome dinner service at the bar At 3:30 pm I happen to absolutely love places that offer dinner early. If I lived locally I'd patronize "harvest " weekly. Thank you Whoever to thank For enabling the chef to create this menu And hire positive , engaging Barkeeps ( in my case barkeepstress) Yeah. I know. That's not a real word. I'll look forward to my next visit. Tip Great place for a date.

Pork loin, asparagus, mushroom risotto, apple

I had a porkloin cooked medium with sautéed apples and a side of mushroom risotto. It was *chef's kiss* and it paired well with their PB & T (corazón reposado Tequila, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, banana chips). This place is slept on. Probably because it's tucked away in a hotel. Definitely try one of their higher dollar items, totally worth it.

I ate here about 10 times while on business and staying at the Hyatt. Sometimes the food and service was outstanding. Sometimes the food was average. Breakfast: breakfast consists of either the continental buffet OR made to order meals like the standards. For $19 you can get "everything" including a made to order omelette. There's a wide variety of offerings, i just wish the food was a little hotter at the trough. The dinner was good -- decently priced -- the surprise was the PIZZA. Some of the pizzas are all time. Some are better than others - great dough made in house! Sometimes the service was very good, sometimes the service was very average or sub average. All things considered I give this restaurant a solid "4" star considering the ease of staying there at the hotel.

    KC Strip

I stayed at the Hyatt for a Library Convention, and had dinner at the Harvest every evening. Every meal was delicious. I recommend the fried chicken, pork with apple compote, and the KC strip. Even their nachos were amazing! You can't go wrong with what you pick. Our wait staff were super friendly. Shout out to Tabitha and Martin, our wait staff on most days. It was great to feel so welcomed by them. The restaurant itself was cozy and clean. We were always seated right away. Good place.

    "Kanza" Burger and fries

"Kanza" Burger. Burger with fried pork belly, over medium egg, buttered brioche bun, Bermuda onion, lettuce, tomato and house cured pickle with choice of cheese. (I got medium cooked burger, no pickle, no tomato with American cheese). Comes with fries. That was MAD BUSSIN. The fries were a bit salty and they still put a pickle in my to-go box, but I simply don't care. That burger was so good this get 5 stars. Bartender was super nice and chill considering I took forever to figure out what i wanted. I was worried about how unhealthy pork belly is, and she said to live my life lol.

    My favorite granola in town

I just love eating here and always have. I worked at the Hyatt for 16 years (gone now for 3) never disappointed. I still say the steaks are the best in town-quality meat. The menus change each season and you won't find a better breakfast buffet. I can't get enough of the homemade yogurt and granola-they also have spiced peaches that are to die for!! (add under the granola/yogurt.) They will comp parking in garage if you eat there so ask your bartender or server when you go in. The happy hour menu and bar food (pizzas) are also amazing

Our server June was detailed, attentive, and engaging without being meddling or scripted. What a sincere vibe! As a queer couple we LOVED the busy Saturday night following a Pride event. We knew it would be a splurge and enjoyed every minute. The rib-eye did not rely on salt and fat alone, and every part of the dish shone in a way that you don't experience at even the best steakhouses. We live hours away but will be back to eat at Lotte again!

The design of the restaurant is gorgeous. It is open concept with big beautiful windows and a ton of natural light, but it still feels so elevated but not too elevated that you can't wear jeans but elevated enough that you could wear heels. I saw people dressed casual in there, and I saw people dressed in suits. I highly recommend sitting at the chef's table, which is the counter that belly's right up to the chefs that are cooking right out in the open. It is the coolest experience to watch their every move and listen to them communicate with each other. You do not feel any heat off of the grill or the stove because of the way it's set up. You just get to watch them make their magic. I expected this place to be overly priced because it is so nice but honestly, the prices are great. For the experience and for the food, I was more than happy with the pricing. The hospitality there is top-notch from the second you walk in and every minute after that, you feel like you are paid attention to and that you matter. You feel like all of the staff are grateful for you but not in an overbearing way just in a very appreciative way. This restaurant truly understands that the customers are what keep them in business. We had a 5 PM reservation on a Saturday night. Like I said, we ate at the chefs table. As soon as we sat down, the owner came up and greeted us and shook our hands, introduced himself and introduced us to all of the chefs that were cooking. I noticed he did that with everybody at the chefs table, so it was such a cool experience. Then he brought us out a little sample to try that isn't on the menu and that was super nice. He checked on us a couple of times after that. In between him checking on us, we had the nicest waiter checking on us. He was more than a waiter. He was like a concierge of the restaurant. He knew about every dish and every drink and could give us very specific details about it and help us decide what we would like. Now to the food, wow I mean wow. Check out my pictures for what we ordered. We cannot wait to go back. After spending the day…read moreexploring Tanganyika Wildlife Park, we wanted a relaxing dinner within walking distance of our hotel, and this locally owned restaurant was exactly what we were hoping to find. The first surprise was the size of the restaurant. From the street, it looks fairly modest, but once inside, it opens into a beautiful historic warehouse with exposed brick, an industrial feel, and a lively atmosphere. I also loved discovering the large outdoor patio tucked away behind the building--it would be a fantastic place to enjoy live music on a future visit. We ordered the baby back ribs, which had just been introduced to the menu that evening, and they were incredible. The meat was tender enough to fall right off the bone, the baked beans had just the right amount of spice, and the fries rounded out a great comfort meal. I also enjoyed trying a local cider on tap, and we couldn't resist finishing with the Key Lime Pie Crème Brûlée, which was absolutely delicious. What really stood out was how relaxed the experience felt. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of adventure. If you're visiting Wichita, especially if you're staying in Historic Old Town, I highly recommend adding Public at the Brickyard to your itinerary. Great food, genuine hospitality, and a wonderful example of supporting local Kansas producers make this a restaurant I'll gladly return to on my next visit.
