    Bone-In Ribeye*
    David D.

Came here for dinner today with the family. We always have to eat here once when we are in town. The app allowed us to get on the waitlist to minimize wait time. By the time we got there our table was ready. The steaks were nice and juicy for a chain steak house. I had a bone in ribeye and it was cooked perfect and all so juicy. Don't forget about the rolls. Pillowy goodness! Everybody enjoyed their meal and the service was great. I forgot his name but he did a wonderful job on his 3rd day of working there. Will definitely come back when we are back in town!

Kalie was our server she was great.. so attentive we are from California. our food was great come out just the way we ordered 5 of us. She kepted the hot bread filled the salads were super fresh and the steaks were seasoned just right and very tender. We had ribeye, Kansas City strip & hand cut sirloin. Some had chicken they said it was very tender. The manager gave us a visit to see how things were going. Had such a great experience.

Rolls, hot and fresh! Savory cinnamon sugar butt er

This place NEVER disappoints. Delicious, fast, fresh, and affordable. Grilled chicken salad is my favorite!

I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but if I HAVE to go to one, Texas Roadhouse is my first choice. They are pretty consistent no matter where you go, and this one was no different. I am always amazed at how busy they are, I usually prepare for a wait, but somehow, the 4 of us got seated in less than 15 minutes. I only order steak here, but on this occasion, my dining mates ordered Chicken Fried Steak, and others ordered the ribs, both were happy with their meals. I had a nice Kansas City Strip and I was pleased, the quality was great and would've cost double at any other high-end steak house. Plus the beer is cold and the Margaritas rivaled any Mexican restaurant!

16 ounce filet mignon, green beans mashed potatoes and Tanqueray martini.

I've consistently experienced great service at all TRs, but tonight was exceptional. Waiter Marc was completely open about being somewhat unfamiliar with martinis. He made excellent suggestions including an "off menu" 16 ounce filet Mignon that was sublime. The manager came by and introduced himself, asked how Marc was taking care of me said to let him know if I needed anything. You know how many times that happens? I've had a few meals out. I'd say less than 1% of the time has a manger or chef come out and checked in. Except at Skip's Kitchen. Skip ALWAYS makes the rounds. The bacon in the green beans reminds me of my mom's cooking and the loaded mashed potatoes are delectable. Marc checked in regularly and delivered everything I requested. Including a coffee with cream to go.

Shiner Bock which needs a refill.

We couldn't be upset after they did their best to make up for it AND it was date night so it gave us more time together. I recommend experiencing this place at least once!

The design of the restaurant is gorgeous. It is open concept with big beautiful windows and a ton of natural light, but it still feels so elevated but not too elevated that you can't wear jeans but elevated enough that you could wear heels. I saw people dressed casual in there, and I saw people dressed in suits. I highly recommend sitting at the chef's table, which is the counter that belly's right up to the chefs that are cooking right out in the open. It is the coolest experience to watch their every move and listen to them communicate with each other. You do not feel any heat off of the grill or the stove because of the way it's set up. You just get to watch them make their magic. I expected this place to be overly priced because it is so nice but honestly, the prices are great. For the experience and for the food, I was more than happy with the pricing. The hospitality there is top-notch from the second you walk in and every minute after that, you feel like you are paid attention to and that you matter. You feel like all of the staff are grateful for you but not in an overbearing way just in a very appreciative way. This restaurant truly understands that the customers are what keep them in business. We had a 5 PM reservation on a Saturday night. Like I said, we ate at the chefs table. As soon as we sat down, the owner came up and greeted us and shook our hands, introduced himself and introduced us to all of the chefs that were cooking. I noticed he did that with everybody at the chefs table, so it was such a cool experience. Then he brought us out a little sample to try that isn't on the menu and that was super nice. He checked on us a couple of times after that. In between him checking on us, we had the nicest waiter checking on us. He was more than a waiter. He was like a concierge of the restaurant. He knew about every dish and every drink and could give us very specific details about it and help us decide what we would like. Now to the food, wow I mean wow. Check out my pictures for what we ordered. We cannot wait to go back. First, you get bread, butter, and salt. It's quite good! And it seemed like you could get more if you wanted. The appetizer we got was the wood oven roasted feta.. WOW. First, I know a lot of people don't like feta much but this tasted nothing like feta. It was like that super duper cheese taste on cheap pizza... spectacular. The mushrooms weren't really picked but still good, loved the pesto.. I didn't use the flat bread but it was great on the bread I mentioned above! I wasn't expecting this to be so good, it's crave-able. Heard the steak was good, they also got the loaded baked potato.. no complaints. I got the salmon and it was also way better than I was expecting. The beans?? Woah, they are so much more than just beans. They're so savory with bacon and spinach. I couldn't figure out what the yellow sauce was but it added a nice bright note. The beans were the star but the salmon was also good- the fried capers are a nice touch. It was seared super hard and a little overcooked but I didn't give a temperature so I shall next time. Overall this place is great. Totally worth the price although pricey. My bill was for the salmon and I got a dumb fancy water I regret but after tip it was $75. The steak and appetizer plus a soda was $90ish. So, yeah, $$$ but great vibe, great food, great service. The meat I was served was so over-cooked I had to saw at it with the dull steak knife they provided. Seriously, it was so difficult to cut, I already wanted to send it back but I had asked for this. So I made my peace with it and tried a bite. It was like eating over cooked Arby's roast beef after it was rewarmed too-long in the microwave. It disgusted me so much so, that I asked for a box, planning to take it home for my dogs or perhaps to add to soup, since it was my own error in judgement that had brought this upon me. When I asked for the box, my server started arguing with me about just getting me a new piece. No, I was fine I said. Really, I would just like a box. I have never had to argue to not get a steak before. This was by far the worst dinner out with my husband I have had since moving to Wichita. I know she was just trying to give good service but having to reiterate over and over that I was fine, to not have a new meal and trying to explain why just made it more unpleasant and uncomfortable. I spent the rest of our meal awkwardly watching my husband eat his meal and feeling weird which could have been avoided if she had just let well enough alone. I ended up just wanting to leave but not feeling like I could. Service: 1/5 The service did not match the price of the dinner. Overall, my server was nice, but that didn't stop her from arguing with me about my dinner. Super uncomfortable to have to explain myself over and over. The manager came, and stopped at the table, asked how we were and then left. It was equally uncomfortable. Clearly I was not enjoying my dinner to have literally boxed it up to go. Ambiance: 1/5 The dark interior was moody but intimate. The menu was a bit shabby but otherwise ok. The chairs were comfortable. Until using the bathroom, the ambiance was fine. The bathroom was well lit but the toilet paper dispensers were falling off of the walls and the door knob on the stall I used was equally troubling. The person in the next stall actually has the toilet paper dispenser fall apart on her. I awkwardly heard her curse slightly as I listened to the clang of metal on the floor and observed pieces sitting beside the toilet as I exited. What a ratchet bathroom. The purse hanger was way too high for comfort, especially if you were in a wheelchair (which the largest bathroom is meant for). Overall, pass on the restroom and restaurant in general.

My wife and I have begun to cycle Siena Tuscan Steakhouse into our favorite date-night choices…read more The menu has a good mix of dishes that most people will be familiar with and some options that are more unique, at least for the Wichita area. The steaks taste like high-quality meats and have always had a perfect temperature and sear, and their pastas and sauces taste like they're made fresh daily in house. I am not a fan of the grilled Caesar salad, as I didn't realize (because the menu didn't specify), that they basically just serve you uncut romaine that's been wilted on a grill, and it was pretty unpleasant. That said, most of the things on their menu have been very good, cooked properly, and taste like they use fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is nice and classy, but not so stuffy that a normal person feels out of place. There is a nice indoor balcony area that overlooks the main dining room, but if they're busy I would suggest waiting for a table in the lower dining area, as the balcony is pretty loud when the restaurant is full. Service has always been very good, with friendly staff who accommodate special requests and act professionally, but they've never blown me out of the water. That said, all I really want from a server at a restaurant is for them to do their job without acting like they're miserable to be there, so I have zero complaints with the staff. My only real "complaint" with Siena Tuscan are the prices...while the food is very good, you pay for it, and there are quite a few items on the menu that I feel are about $3-5 overpriced. The portions are not huge, which is common at higher-quality restaurants, and sides are not included with many of the dinner menu items, so you'll pay extra for them. If you are accustomed to "Texas Roadhouse" portions and prices, you may feel a certain way about the value for money, but in our experience the quality of food justifies the cost. That said, it's not unreasonably expensive, and in more than 6 visits the worst experience I've had is not liking the grilled Ceasar salad, but I think they've since taken it off the menu anyway.

Ambiance is okay, I guess.. dated a bit and weird with the place mats... makes it seem cheaper than the bill was. We went at 5pm on a Monday - it was pretty empty which was perfect. Didn't start to fill up until we left around 7ish. You do have to pay for parking but there's a garage on the block and I think my ticket was like 3 bucks. First we ordered the baba ghanoush... as you can see in the picture it is not very appetizing looking but the issue was it was SO bland! I'm an eggplant fiend and it tasted like water almost. We sent it back and got the charcuterie board... meh. It was fine, I guess. Don't recommend. The sauce in the middle is sweet? Just not my taste. I wanted to order the salmon by three (annoying it's impossible to find a picture of the dish online, if it's anything like everything else we got it probably wasn't good)... they weren't able to get fresh sushi grade salmon or the roe so they had an impromptu dish offering- salmon with fettuccine in a caper sauce topped with fried ham... it was SO salty! The salmon was dry. It was a good sounding dish just poor execution. Desert we got the raspberry emerald tart, against our better judgement as we hadn't had anything tasty yet, and it was so cold and not fresh that it tasted like nothing. The pistachio cream had fully soaked into the crust. It was just a miss, it was careless. That pretty much describes the whole meal (except the servers!) - the chef did not seem to care at all. Very disappointed, will not be back.
