Came to Harvest Moon to Celebrate my Birthday with a scrumptious Brunch . Seated promptly. Food delivered to the table quickly ! Everything was top notch,as always . I had the amazing Eggs Benedict- I added Tomatoes. One friend had the Neil's Toss 1/2 order. Another friend had the Neil's toss Full . And my other friend had the Blueberry Pancake breakfast w/ Eggs and Bacon . Huge portions . Great cool place to eat Brunch/Lunch!

Delicious. Always busy so plan ahead. It's been here forever so they must be doing something right. Omelettes are great too.

This place was so yummy! We didn't know what to expect but after receiving the guidance from our server we came to the decision to order calico fries a burger and a fancy grilled cheese. The grilled cheese tasted like a charcuterie board because of the jelly and the burger was perfect. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The space is a little tight, but adds to the coziness.

Came here last week for lunch on a Monday. I got the chicken salad and it was more than enough food for one! We also had a crab dip and my friend had a chicken sandwich. All of it was delicious! Seating was quick and food came out in no time.

I had the Gorilla Cheese sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries and they were amazing!! We also had the Crab Dip appetizer which was fantastic!

The service and the food were both amazing!! I would just say that it is pretty cramped in there so try to go earlier as it can get pretty busy and hard to walk through but honestly it's worth it!!

Crab deluxe sandwich 1/2 order. Shared. (market price, which was $42 July 2025)

This is a nice place to eat downtown. I haven't been here in years. I really wanted to try some menu items I found out was on the weekend only, need to come back then. The sampler plate was decent. The shrimp was good, the chicken skewers were good and the sweet potato fries were surprisingly very good I usually dont like sweet potato fries. The waitress was nice enough to explain which of each three sauces was and for what to dip in them. I truly appreciated that, I always wonder which sauce is for which. We ordered the French Dip to share and the Deluxe Crab sandwich to share and once again they was so nice to put them on separate plates already which was very convenient. Our waitress Honesty ( yes that's her name haha) was so good and paid attention to every detail. I was very impressed with her skills I had to mention her by name. She kept checking on us if we needed anything and just did a perfect job to be honest ( no pun intended, her name Honesty, get it haha). The French dip sandwich was in my opinion just ok, not bad but not anything to write home about. The garlic fries were good and the fruit was a good healthy option. The Deluxe Crab sandwich was stacked high with crab meat thus the $42 price ( which I didn't know the market price before I ordered, I wish I did, I wouldn't have spent $42 on one sandwich ). The Deluxe Crab sandwich normally comes with bacon I had it removed because I dont eat pork. The Deluxe Crab sandwich was just ok. I wouldn't order it again especially for its extremely high price but not even if it was half the price. It just wasn't that tasty to me or my son's friend who shared the other half. My son did like his outback omelet I tasted it and thought it was good as well. The outback omelet also came with catchup dip for potatoes and apricot jam for English muffins im guessing, but it was a nice extra. Pro tip: the parking lot right next to the building durning the week is not to be used for Harvest Moon customers unless you park in handicapped spot with proper handicap parking permits. I believe you can park there on the weekend. Also ask what current market price is before you order the Deluxe Crab sandwich and make sure you feel comfortable to pay that price.

Crab sandwich was everything i was expecting this place doesn't come short on experience.

Food was amazing and boy, the crab sandwich didn't disappoint, and their salad with house dressing was on point

Came here the other day with my boss. We ordered a salad and Cajun pasta. The salad was huge!!!! We had to use two containers to take it home. The Cajun pasta was yummy but a little much for me. I personally don't like the long strings of onion but it didn't ruin the dish, just a personal opinion. The restaurant was cute and the staff were all so friendly. I will say, lunch time is busy so be prepared to wait a little but not terribly long.

This sandwich was amazing! Pretty big, it was enough for me and my wife to share (they split it in two plates for us). The bartender Sherry was very friendly and made good bloody Mary's. This was our first time eating here and we'll be coming back for sure to try out other items from the menu.

Came here on our way to Yosemite. We had the crab salad which was so huge and had so much crab. OMG the salad is well dressed and had croutons, bacon, and a ton of crab including claw meat. I ordered the fish and chips which also was huge. I could only at one of the large pieces. It was a bit oily for me. The garlic fries was totally killer. I also couldn't eat it all. If we swing by again we're only going to order the salad. Service was excellent.

After discovering Lucille several years ago, I will now willingly take rides far from home, although the fares sometimes dry up in the Central Valley. I have been to Lucille twice by myself. I brought my Godmother once. I recommend Lucille to everyone who I drive when they tell me that they live in or near Modesto. Today I brought my boyfriend and my dog, who lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It was Saturday, super crowded and my dog was being super reactive with another dog across the way. It was super embarrassing and, although I am sure that it stressed out the staff, they were calm, kind and attentive. I was stressed and shrill, my dog was being a grade-A A-hole. I'm sorry Lucille! The beet salad at this place features fresh mint and I always get it. The chocolate cookie with flaky malden salt is very yummy. Their house coffee is very high quality and doesn't taste gross and burned. I didn't love my soup today. The bar was set pretty high with the carrot soup I had another time. Honestly, it was a small detail and this place is so much better than 90% of restaurants. They sent me another chocolate cookie. That was never necessary. I love you Lucille! Thanks for the extra care and the extra cookie! You really deserve a larger building because you are awesome!

They have yummy pastries on display but the breakfast menu has tons of savory options. We ordered H Street Block which is a blueberry french toast casserole. It was the perfect size. It looks small, but it was very filling and just enough to get my day started. It's a bit pricey for the size but since that was the portion I wanted, I wasn't too disappointed. One of the workers mentioned they do have kids menu options, but they didn't have the printed kids menus available, so if you don't see them, just ask when you are ordering. The Champions Breakfast platter was a great choice for our kids to share. It was one of the better fruit bowls I've seen, with a variety of fresh berries and oranges. The place is pretty small inside, but we were there on a Thursday morning so it was no issue finding a parking spot or a table to sit. I appreciate how kid friendly they are, even bringing kid size water cups with lids, and there are even some children's books on the shelf in the back. Such a cute little spot, I would have never known about it if I wasn't looking on Yelp for breakfast places in this area.

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.

Here, you order your food, grab a number, and find your own seat for the food to be brought out to you. We sat at a table outside to decide what to order. There were no menus available so we just had to search for it online before heading inside to order. Despite being third in line from the register, we had an extremely long wait to order. There was only one person running the register who also had to make the drinks, meaning the service incredibly slow. We wanted to order the five taco platter, garlic fries, chicken Caesar salad, and mimosa pitcher. Sadly, we were only able to get the pitcher and salad. The cashier told us "sorry, we aren't doing fries right now." Not doing fries? Every plate in the vicinity had fries on them. She said that because it was brunch hour, only food on the brunch menu could be ordered. We looked at the brunch menu again and literally saw garlic fries as an option as a side for the burgers/sandwiches. No where did it specify that you can't order off the other menu and both were available online. What bothered us about this is that we placed this order at around 1:50pm, and brunch ended at 2:00pm. I understand that we are not entitled to things on the lunch menu during brunch-time for items like the tacos, but considering the menu swap was less than 10 minutes away and they were quite literally were "doing fries" at the time, it didn't make much sense to us. The only food that we ended up ordering was the Chicken Caesar Salad. This one dish took a super long time to receive. By the time it was brought out, the three of us nearly finished the Mimosa pitcher. The waitress noticed we had no silverware and said she would go grab us some. Because of how the service had been going thus far, we placed a bet on whether or not the waitress would come back with the silverware. Surprise, surprise. She didn't. We had to go inside later and search for silverware ourselves. We weren't even able to get sharing plates which was upsetting since the waitress asked us if we would be sharing the salad. The salad itself looked delicious, but was bland. The dressing was missing that zing and zest that a Caesar dressing typically has. I do appreciate that is was a chopped salad, had avocado, and seasoned croutons. It is just unfortunate that it was lacking any flavor at all. The food prices are quite affordable for the quantity of food you receive though. This experience was disappointing because I was so optimistic about the place. The menu looked good, it had fun and casual vibes and a cool crowd of people. If Commonwealth worked towards better service practices, it would have been a more positive experience.

A Hidden Gem with Nightclub Vibes and Brunch Soul…read more Came in for breakfast and left with a new favorite local spot. The atmosphere is electric but chill--modern ring lighting, glowing LED pillars, a full wall of TVs, and just enough disco ball energy to make you wonder what this place transforms into after dark. (Spoiler: we'll be back to find out.) We started the day with mimosas--light, bright, and generously poured. They set the tone. My partner ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and wow--rich, flavorful, and with just the right kick. The ranchero sauce was warm and bold, layered over perfectly cooked eggs and soft tortillas. Beans and salsa rounded it out with heart and spice. I went classic: two eggs over easy, bacon, and hashbrowns. Everything hit the mark. The eggs were runny and golden, the bacon had that ideal crisp-with-chew balance, and the hashbrowns had a crispy outer layer that gave way to soft, savory insides. Simple, but done right. Service was kind and easygoing--the perfect pace for a morning meal. Plenty of space inside, and the layout somehow makes it feel both open and cozy at the same time. Several other tables got up and left before we did, including families with young children who had been waiting for breakfast for an unreasonable amount of time. What made the situation especially disappointing was that the bartenders and staff were doing an excellent job under very difficult circumstances. They remained professional, attentive, and courteous despite clearly being overwhelmed by a situation beyond their control.Their drinks were great. We were informed that there were only two cooks working. While staffing shortages can happen, it was disheartening to learn that management was aware of the issue and yet there did not appear to be any effort from leadership to step in and help resolve the backlog. Seeing bartenders and servers bear the brunt of frustrated customers while families sat waiting indefinitely for food reflected poorly on the overall operation. This message is not intended to criticize the staff who were present. They were phenomenal. Rather, it is to express concern about the lack of support provided to them and the impact it had on your customers' experience. We chose your establishment because of its reputation and atmosphere, and we hope this feedback helps prevent similar situations in the future. Best of luck to the servers who ensure this short staffing and bear the insults of people who got up and left.
