I'll wait for another Hash to open before i come back - the carnitas has is freaking amazing and their mimosas are killer. They get 3 today though because the hostess this morning though was absolutely out of line - Mother's Day and half the tables in the restaurant and outside are empty. She tells me it's an hour wait for first available table and i legit was like "are you freaking kidding me?" and looked around like they've lost their mind. She then says "ma'am you don't have to yell at me" meanwhile the DJ is blaring music so i can barely hear her. I say that and she ROLLS HER EYES and says "ma'am it's a concept". Little girl it's not the first time I've been here - I'm aware the DJ is there as a concept for the restaurant. You wanna know why I'm yelling is because I'm talking over the music. Hope she's not as rude to her own mother today. Went on the grand opening day. Workers were super welcoming, loved everyone's energy! Walked by the DJ as soon as we entered. Our waitress, Jimni, was super friendly. Appreciate the hip vibe but the music is just too loud. Dining with people usually comes with conversation and the music is just too loud to enjoy both conversation and music. Food was ok. They changed the potatoes. Got the carnitas hash. Thought it was the wrong dish because there were three small smashed potatoes at the bottom. Waiter explained they changed the potatoes. Ok no biggie except it's a skilled hash with three small bite size potatoes. Overall was not balanced in flavor or portions. Was extremely salty and I LOVE salty food. It was even too much for. My husband and step daughter tried this place on a whim. As soon as you walk in, you're hit with loud dance music. They have a dj booth right at the front! Wild! We were put on a waiting list and didn't wait long. Loved that they had crayons and a kids menu to color while we waited to order. Well, this has made the list of one of my new favorite brunch spots! The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks and ambiance was a vibe. What went great? I order the hash barria nachos, my sister ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and my hubby order the chilaquiles. For drinks, we ordered a bottle of champagne with fruit muddle on the side and a couple of build your own bloody Marys. Wow , did they deliver on flavor and abundance! The toppings included but not limited to - jalapeños, bacon, jalapeños poppers, beef jerky , assorted veggies, boiled eggs, olives and cheeses and more ..As you can see from my picture , it was quite full and very tasty! What was a challenge ? The wait time was awful. Prior to leaving my home, I placed us on the waiting list as there no reservations or valet. I was given 75-100 minute wait. This was Sunday at 10:30 am. When we arrived 20 mins later, I checked in at the front and was told that they will let us know when our table is ready. We waiting for another 45 -55 minutes to be seated outside. Overall, the entire wait was about hour and a half. Everything was pretty ok. Both skillets that I tried seemed to be missing something. There wasn't enough contents for all the potatoes given. If you're a sweet breakfast person, then ignore everything and try them out. The mimosa was sweet and the champagne wasn't strong. It surprisingly didn't take the entire hour for us to get the text that our table was ready. The restaurant is very lively they have a dj that plays pretty good music. The food is where things go downhill. I'm not sure what to classify this restaurant as, they have American and Mexican style breakfast, we all opted for the Mexican style. I had the Birria Hash and it was so mediocre, it came with three sad ass quesadillas that weren't good. My cousins both ordered green chilaquiles and the tortillas were nearly burnt, and slightly too spicy. The mimosa flights were also just okay, they all tasted the same like sparkling wine with some food coloring we couldn't taste the flavors. I put us on the waitlist online with a 55-75 minute wait so we planned to arrive an hour after I put us on the waitlist. I checked in at the front with the hostess. She wasn't the most welcoming, asked for my name and said I'd received a text when the table was ready. I kindly asked how long the wait would be and her response with an attitude was "I don't know, there's no way to know." I asked if getting on the waitlist online helps shorten the wait time and she responded "I don't know, maybe 20 to 30 minutes." I was a bit annoyed at that time because I already arrived an hour after I added ourselves on the waitlist so we didn't have a long wait especially with a toddler. The wait ended up being only 10 minutes but I do think the hostess needs a little bit of coaching with customer service. Everyone else, especially our server was great. We ordered the banana bread French toast sticks which were bomb! My favorite was definitely the herb chicken on a biscuit. The flavors were great and on point. My mom ordered the avocado toast. Met up with a few of my former coworkers for an early holiday brunch. Hash Kitchen had been on my list of places to try- I just hadn't made time to check it out. To my luck, my friend who organized the meetup choose Hash Kitchen as she had been already and raved about the food. First off, make reservations because this placed stays stacked and packed! We arrived at noon on a Monday and there was an hour wait for a table, but that was cool but we had time to catch up. My friend grabbed bevs from the bar as we sat outside which has a line of patio furniture tables with umbrellas. It was a little nippy because of the wind but not uncomfortable. We probably would have enjoyed being outside more than inside if the weather wasn't so obsure, but we wanted to enjoy the full essence of HK so a interior table is what we waited for. We had a great spot inside in the back corner of the restaurant which allows you see everything and everybody. The vibes here are lively and cheerful complete with disco balls and gold glittery walls. Not your typical brunch experience, but typical is so 2023. Hash busted to door wide open in Pearland in 2024 and made brunch an experience from the servers to the food, Hash has you covered with a kaleiscope of choices and unique dishes and drinks. However, I was very torn on what to order despite perusing reviews and pics before my visit. After a week of indecisiveness, I knew I'd order the bread pudding french toast and coffee. Unfortunately, they were out of the bread pudding french toast so I opted for the regular brioche and asked for strawberries (no charge for that add btw). Coffee was so fresh and smooth I drank the whole kettle left on the table! I've never drank so much coffee in my life but I think it was the special creamer our server Kelby created. I requested french vanilla creamer, and she stated she could mix something together to make it french vanilla. Anyway, it was delicious!!! I don't use sugar anymore in my coffee so no late night wide awake caffeine high for me lol Hash has all the speciality drinks you could ever imagine, but simplicity is bliss for me and their coffee proves that point. I will say the french toast fell a little flat for me as it was on the dry side. Asked for extra syrup to compensate which is unlike me. Plus the maple sausage I intially ordered for my protein wss a little too pale for me. Asked Kelby to switch out and got the Applewood Smoked Bacon instead. 4 strips of meatyness graced my presence but not for long because it was crispy just like I like it! My fellow dinners didn't have any complaints about their dishes. From the looks of them all, the portion sizes were huge- even the kids pancake. It was round like a basketball! Kelby took great care of our entire table of 5 adults and 1 kiddo with ease. Once more, we were able to enjoy each others company and have a conversation. I have seen reviews from past patrons stating the music was too loud but it was just right at our visit. We even were able to get a group shot together before we left the establishment. Everyone was so nice, welcoming and accomodating, but I must highlight the manager Kendrick who took my call after the restautant had closed and was going to permit me to look for my phone that I thought I had left at HK. I have two phones (Call me the Kevin Gates of Yelp) and thought I left it. Finally found it under the seat when I arrived at HK as I was waiting for Kendrick to open the door after looking in my section for the phone. He was the only one left in the parking lot and I'm sure he was ready to go home but his compassion was heartfelt. Thank you Kendrick for your understanding and HK for a great brunch with a really special bunch of people in my life. I look forward to making more memories at Hash in the future. read more

It's that time of the year where it's my birthday and I get to choose where the fam and I get to eat. I am a breakfast/brunch fanatic and Hash Kitchen screamed my name when they popped into the Pearland food scene. I patiently waited as I always do with new spots so they can work out all their kinks. I also watched reviews on here and monitored local foodie pages to see what everyone's thoughts were. It was time to pull the trigger. My sister in law was thinking ahead and called a few days in advance to see about reservations. Apparently they were booked solid for an early Saturday morning slot but were able to squeeze us in once she mentioned it was for a birthday. From what I've heard, if you're walking in, be prepared for long waits. HK is located in a brand new strip center and as of now the only business open, so parking is plentiful. Brunching is cool these days! Alot of places in Houston are known for their lively brunches and now Pearland has the same. I think the kids call it a vibe. It is definitely a vibe here. If you like picture worthy drinks and food, this is your spot as well. Prior to coming I kept reading the music is loud and some groups are a little rowdy. I'm all for it but was worried the older family members might not like it. Walking in you are immediately hit with a party vibe. There's disco balls on the ceiling, a DJ spinning right as you walk in, a Bloody Mary bar, and a huge bar that also opens up to the patio. That being said, my parents and uncle totally enjoyed the atmosphere. The music was loud, but not obnoxious. The mix of music was good for all age ranges. and everyone in my group was bopping their heads. The staff here is awesome too. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and worked well as a team. On to the food! This is a breakfast and brunch spot so they have hashes, benedicts, waffles, pancakes, French toast, scrambles ,sandwiches, fruits, salads and sides. I could not decide like always so I asked for their most popular dishes and narrowed it down to the herb fried chicken and waffles. I watched as food got served around surrounding tables, and the portions here are no joke. Bring an appetite! I kept mental notes of all the things I need to try next time. My dish came out and it was huge. There was a generous portion of perfectly fried, bone in chicken on top of a large, fluffy waffle. All of that was topped with fried leeks. I tried each component individually first. The chicken was crunchy and seasoned just right. They used the thigh so every bite was moist. The waffle was big, but still fluffy and airy. I also ordered a side of hash browns because they looked like McDonalds hash browns and we all know those are elite. Did not disappoint. I tried one of the hashes, the chilaquiles, and some pancakes and they were all delicious as well. While I waiting I sipped on their unlimited coffee which was good. They also have a wide range of cocktails. There's some truly unique items that I would like to try when I come with my party brunch crew. If you are a bloody Mary lover, they have a whole build your own bloody bar. They give you a base, and then you go to this assembly line that has so many toppings for you to create your own, perfect bloody. Overall, this is definitely my favorite breakfast spot in Pearland. Their drink menu looks extensive and very creative, with a full Bloody Mary bar - which we didn't get to try at this visit. Their breakfast menu is equally thoughtful. My friend and I flew into Houston and immediately went to check this place out based on other reviews and I must admit the service was amazing and it ran like a well oiled machine. We did the online waitlist, checked in and was seated pretty quickly. We both got the mimosa flight which was a nice option for the price. We split the glitter bomb my friend ordered, it would've been too much glitter for one person. It's literally a glitter bomb so not mad at that lol the name is accurate. I had the birria has (recommended by the waitress/bartender) and it was very good. I cleared my skillet. It comes with cheese quesadillas but I wish they had a little birria inside as it was hard to combine the meat in the skillet with the quesadillas in one bite. My friend had the bread pudding French toast, also recommended by our waitress, she said it was good the portion was just too big to finish. The one complaint she had was that the crème brûlée sauce that came with it was cold. Taste delicious but the temperature difference was weird and it was thick like a pudding for dipping. Overall we had a great time, the DJ was cranking out the tunes, the Bloody Mary bar had people stacking meats like it was fogo de chao, and everybody was friendly. The HTX Honeys stopped by Hash Kitchen for brunch last weekend before heading to R&B in the Park, and let me just say--I was pleasantly surprised! Based on the location, I wasn't expecting too much in terms of vibe, but whew, was I wrong. As soon as we walked in, the energy was up. I thought it was just a solid playlist at first, but nope--they had a live DJ setting the tone! (I wish I knew his name because he was on point.) I even ended up tipping him to spin a couple of my favorite tracks, including the Tamia Line Dance. Only one brave soul joined me on the floor--which either means folks didn't know it or just weren't ready to match our energy--but me and that lady had a time! Updating my last review... I've been here three times now, and while the vibe is super fun and the drinks are good, the food and service is inconsistent. We went in early recently, around 8 AM on a Sunday, so there wasn't a big crowd by any means. The waitress came by and got our drink order right away and dropped them off quickly. She asked if we were ready to order and I asked if we could have just one more minute; we didn't see her again for another 10+ minutes. But still, we weren't in a hurry so we were ok. I ordered eggs Benedict (Melina) and when it came out, the eggs were severely over done-no runny yolk at all. My boyfriend didn't get his hash browns that were supposed to come with his order either. After waiting for quite a while (still pretty empty in there, BTW) the waitress finally came back by and we told her about the overdone eggs and missing hash browns, so we went to fix it. A new version of my meal came out pretty quickly and she brought boyfriend's hash browns, but by the time the rest of his food was cold from waiting for mine to be corrected, and my eggs were extremely under-done this time. They still had some unset egg white. I ate what I could around the undercooked part because I didn't want to send it back again, but it wasn't great and doesn't make me want to go back anytime soon. If they could get the service and the food to be more consistent, then maybe I'll make it back. Let me start with a helpful tip: put your name on the waiting list online because the parking lot is packed and you will probably have a little wait. But it's not that bad! Some drinks come in souvenir roller skates or a disco ball with a hat. People come to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. It is not quiet. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but if you want a quiet brunch experience, this won't be it. What you will get is a big party with big portions of food. We got a Mimosa flight with sparkly cotton candy bomb, a bloody may, and Booze in a Bag (Bump n Rind). Very unique. For food we ordered cannoli donuts (very sweet!), strawberry shortcake pancakes(they're HUGE and sweet and amazing with Fruity Pebbles), chile relleno Benedict (absolutely incredible served over crispy sweet corncakes), and the birria hash (soooo good!). Everything was really great. I think my favorite today was the chile relleno Benedict. It was different than anything I've had and full of flavor. I can see myself craving this every weekend. Didn't try the bloody Mary bar but it looked packed with patrons. The food is dummied down which is a shame. Not much flavor for what the presentation might suggest. It seems to be flavored with powder instead of fresh herbs. The braised pork was tender, but had a little more fat than welcomed. Today is Saturday Jan 3rd at 11:40am. Just finished eating. This place was amazing! Food off the charts, fun atmosphere, some might find it a bit loud but we enjoyed it. Live DJ. Coffee menu was great and tasted amazing. We accidentally ordered pancakes and forgot to specify gluten free and our server, Savannah, took them back with no question. Shortly after the mgr came over to make sure we were ok. Both ladies were so sweet. Ask for Savannah, you won't be disappointed. She was so nice and helpful and did a great job as well, we wanted for nothing! Would definitely recommend 10/10! If I had to give a critique I would have to say the hostess could have smiled and been more welcoming but the rest of the experience more than made up for it, that was the only missing piece. read more

What a welcome add to this area. We don't have a party brunch spot that I know of, and this fills a gap. We lucked out on some great weather and sat outside in a very welcoming patio. I really like the bar opening outside. Music is blaring to generate the party atmosphere with a live dj, and disco balls and energetic staff really set the tone. Their menu is extensive brunch options with interesting cocktails and a build your own Bloody Mary bar. Definitely a spot for having a good time with adult friends. Seems to be open brunch hours only so they are serious about getting parties started early. read more
