This restaurant is a hidden gem in Pearland! Came here on a whim after church with my husband, and we were so glad we discovered this place. We keep coming back lol. There's always plenty of seating here with absolutely no wait time whenever we come here. The servers are always very nice and attentive anytime we're here. Food always comes out quick too! The food here is really good and affordable! I love their croissant sandwich... like a lot lol. The portion size of their food is just enough to get you full too. My husband also loves the Kaylani omelette. The restaurant is very chill and casual. They also play nice R&B music in the background which is a vibe for me, because I love R&B. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

My husband and I came here for breakfast while we were in town and had mixed reviews. It's in a weird location at the corner of a strip mall. We were the first customers of the morning so we had the whole place to ourselves. As someone else said, the seating is not very comfortable. (Hard wooden benches in the booths.) The music was good and they showed videos on the tv overhead. He ordered the shrimp & grits and the grits were watered down and had no taste. The shrimp were ok but not worth keeping the dish so he sent it back. I had the avocado toast with fried green tomatoes, which was very good. Two slices of toast and the avocado mixture was topped with feta cheese, which I love. The tomatoes were fried perfectly. It came with tater tots but I didn't want to get too full. Coffee was decent and our server was pleasant and helpful. They have other brunch-type items but with so many other places, not sure if we'd try again.

This place has a nice down home vibe... lots of fresh breakfast and brunch options with a truly local vibe...Great drink menu... I suggest the watermelon lemonade.....This was by far the best omelette I have ever had.... It's a local black owned business and I think their secret maybe having their grandmothers cooking it up in the kitchen... the strawberry butter was the jam no pun intended....forget waiting in line in midtown at the Breakfast Klub.... The place is better priced and much better

Had breakfast on May 1st. It's a quiet clean little establishment with a friendly staff. Bonus points for the really good chill music. Food was bomb although I was disappointed with tater tots as my side with my breakfast tacos. They were good but not what the menu said was coming with the tacos. We also had the pancakes.

Is located next to food town. Atmosphere was comfortable and service was good. Food was just OK.

I'm not going to be mean to this establishment. My wife and I are in town for a family event. We weren't thrilled with the hotel breakfast accommodations so we went outside for breakfast. We chose The Rooster. We were there first customers of the day and we thought cool we can get in and out fast. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my wife ordered fried green tomatoes with avocado toast. Hers she said was delicious mine on the other hand not so much. My grits were cold and I thought my shrimp weren't as fresh as they could have been considering the Gulf of Mexico is thirty minutes down the road. The chef left little to be desired the grits were tasteless and the shrimp sauce was not much better. Our server apologized for my entree which was fine. I'll be very careful who to order this dish from. Anyway my wife loved hers and that all I can say. Hence the 2 stars.

Classic Eggs Benedict: avocado, egg, egg muffin with ham and a side of some sweet and regular potatoes.

Great place, very friendly owner, Friendly staff. Nice menu items. Food was good and tastey. Most menu items are over $10, wish they would lower the prices by at least $2 to $3 dollars. But great atmosphere. They also have a bar with mimosas and brunch drinks.

    Fried Green Tomatoes, yummy!

French bakeries, in general, make me throw all diet caution into air and go crazy with food-  but, not this particular Paris Baguette- not my favorite Variety is great, no doubt. I love to go here, because I can avoid going crazy..... ha ha..... I am fond of their soufflé cheesecake and the rainbow cake- haven't had any trouble with those yet.  Today I tried their berry croffle, melt in the mouth, light sweet, just right !Also, would like to try their baguettes, I reallyy hope those don't have sugar tinge in them.  Keep savory as savory and sweet and sweet, separate, why make all savory sweet too !  The color of the chairs sets the French tone. He picked a buffalo chicken sub instead. Unfortunately agin, we got to the register and the girl notified us that the free sub coupon wasn't for this location. (OMG!) She said that each one is individually owned and they couldn't honor the coupon. I didn't want to spend $11+ for a sub we expected to be free. Luckily she mentioned the app and I fortunately had enough points I could redeem for a free regular sub! So needless to say, the staff were friendly, wish the coupon could have been honored and personally I wouldn't have paid $11 for a regular sub but that's just me so I doubt we'll be back.

Both are so good. The Italian has so many meats on it and it's such a filling meal. No matter which sandwich I get, I always add mayo, lettuce, pickles, chili peppers, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. The people making the sandwiches always ask about the toppings whether it's a hot or cold sub. But this last visit was very different. I think the guy helping us might have been new, but honestly, this might have been my last time going. I'm not sure I can look past what happened. It was hard for him to even take the order. He couldn't hear the people in front of us or anything we were saying. We had to repeat ourselves more than once. That part is fine, not really his fault. I finally get my cheesesteak order in, and while that's cooking, they start making my husband's sandwich. The guy is wearing gloves, which is good, but then he stops and adjusts his hat without changing them. Then he goes right back to making the sandwich. At this point, he has mayo and toppings on his hat from the gloves, and now he's using those same gloves to keep working. While I'm watching all this, I miss them wrapping up my sub. But it turns out they didn't add any of the toppings I asked for. The girl rolls her eyes, tears the sub open, and has the same guy start adding the toppings. Still using the same dirty gloves he touched his hat with. Maybe that doesn't seem like a big deal to some people, but to me, it's just gross.

I generally really like this sandwich. Ordering through the app is a quick and easy way to order something relatively healthy and decent tasting, especially when you're on the move. My constructive feedback for this restaurant is the need for quality consistency. Sometimes the sandwich is better than other times, but is overall generally good.

We've tried so many places around Houston, but nothing ever came close. We happened to be in the area one day, noticed Thai tea on the menu, and decided to give it a try. I was honestly skeptical because I expected it to taste like all the others we'd already tried. The moment I took my first sip, I looked at my family and said, "This is it! This is the one!" It tasted just like the Thai tea from our favorite spot back in California. We couldn't believe we had finally found it. Now we find ourselves coming back regularly just for their Thai tea!
