I hate leaving reviews like this, but this experience needs management's attention. When I visited this location during a family reunion in Houston, the men's restroom had an overwhelming odor of urine. There appeared to be bodily fluids on the restroom floors and on top of the stalls, extending toward the sink area. One of the urinals had a paper towel placed over it with what appeared to be bodily fluids present. The restroom needed immediate attention. While those sanitation issues were occurring, I observed someone watching a UFC fight on a cell phone that had been propped up on one of the restaurant's decorative areas. Whether it was during work or not, it gave the impression that sanitation was not being treated as a priority. I informed a server about the restroom conditions and asked if someone could address them. I was told not to have an attitude by my server (while explaining to him the plate). That response was disappointing, especially after raising what I believed were legitimate health and sanitation concerns. My partner also told me she saw creamers dropped onto the floor and then placed back into the serving container instead of being discarded. She also informed me that the women's restroom had bodily fluids on the toilets. To make matters worse, the plate my food was served on had dried food residue around the top, rim, and on the underside, which I photographed. Clean dishes are one of the most basic expectations when dining out. I hope management takes these concerns seriously. Restaurants are responsible for maintaining clean restrooms, properly sanitized dishware, and food-safe practices. Those standards protect both customers and employees. I recently ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and this is the second time my gravy was missing from my biscuits and gravy order. I called the restaurant to politely ask what might be causing the issue, as I wanted to better understand why it keeps happening. Javi, who answered the phone, was friendly and understanding. Another employee from the bar area also spoke with me and was very kind. She explained that she had not bagged the order. When the manager got on the phone, I explained that I had already discussed the situation with two employees. His response was, "This is the first time I'm hearing about this. You're too far away, so I don't have anyone to drive the gravy to you. I can't give you the gravy. What would you like me to do?" The tone came across as annoyed and dismissive. I let him know that I was already planning to dispute the missing item through Uber Eats, but that I was calling because I wanted to understand why this issue keeps occurring. There was no offer for me to pick up the missing gravy or any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation beyond saying he would speak with the staff. What surprised me most was the contrast between the helpfulness of the employees and the manager's attitude. The staff members were courteous and understanding, while the manager seemed to assume I was exaggerating or making up the issue. This must be the after church spot because it was packed. This a good place to come after church or if you want to grab breakfast with friends and family. They started playing music in there which was a nice touch. You can have a conversation and not have to yell at one another to be heard. When I asked for my food to be taken back, our server was really nice about it and helpful. The Supreme Omelette w/ egg white: 9/10.. this one was much better and had some seasoning to it. I still put the hot sauce on it though. Cajun shrimp & Crawfish Omelette: 1/10.. I had to send it back. The omelette itself was flavorless and relied on the very little sauce they gave you. Great brunch spot in Pearland. There are a few vegetarian options. I saw a vegetarian or skinny omelette and a couple of sweet dishes (waffles, pancakes, french toast). I got the skinny omelette and liked the unique flavor. The omelette is packed with veggies: red pepper, asparagus, and goat cheese. The dish came with a side of country potatoes which were crispy and English muffin that was soft and hit the spot with some jam. The serving size was large enough to take some leftovers home. I didn't have to ask for my first refill as the waitress recognized my thirst when I ordered the drink. My food did not disappoint. Another thing I have come to expect from this restaurant. The City Grits were fantastic! Using Gouda cheese with bacon, tomato and green onions as toppings. I opted not to get tomatoes and personally would have like about half as much green onions. I cannot let 2025 come and not review this brunch spot! I'm really liking brunch for dining and had been eying this place for a while now to try. I finally had my chance prior to getting my permanant crown put in and decided to have a nice meal before I headed to the dentist. The parking lot was not packed but it wasn't empty either, which to me is a good sign that people are being taken care of and the food is decent. I have to scratch out the word decent because that's offensive to how scrumptous it was! I wasn't immediately greeted upon entering but that is okay because I could see the servers were busy attending to customers. It was a weekday and they had the receptionist multitasking and helping the floor. Once someone came by, I was asked my preference of a table or booth. I'm a booth person ( softer seating usually and a place to put my purse) and given a menu to peruse, which was vast! There were so many choices! I finally narrowed down my decision to regular french toast ( there was one that was stuffed but when I asked about the sweetness level, my waiter said it was pretty sweet, so I got the regular french toast). I also asked my waiter about my protein choices- There is a chicken sausage available, but its a link versus a patty, which I prefer. Although I had recently chosen to stop buying pork, when the waiter claimed that bacon would be his choice of protein, I trusted the intel. I was so glad I did! You see the pictures! The bacon is meaty and thick! It was so nice and crispy-just how I like! Two slices were just enough to compliment the piles of warm french toast that I ordered with syrup on the side. Of course, I poured oodles of it on my toast once it came to the table. The powdered sugar was also featured on the side to give me control of my sweet tooth. I didn't even need to put butter on my french toast because it was buttery from the kitchen. Despite the fantastic fanfare of the french toast and bacon, the scrambled egges fell a llittle flat- literally. I like my eggs fluffy. To make them edible, I was able to acquire hot sauce. (Ask for the Coahuilla but they have Tabasco)! But the saving grace from the eggs was the Barista Coffee! Move over Starbucks- this coffee was so smooth! I only put creamer in my coffee now and with French Vanilla poured in, this was the best cup of coffee I had in 2024! I had two cups and was tempted to drink a third, but like going to sleep at night! The cost of the barista coffee and the regular coffee are the same and you get refills on both, so trust me and get the barista coffee! Service was attentive and prompt, which I appreciated since I did have a timeline for my day and needed to leave the restaurant by a certain time to get to my next destination. Portions are huge! In fact I ended up giving half my french toast to my Mom! This was a very enjoyable meal and the fact it was without alcohol, which they do offer, is a reason to circle back soon. This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast and my second time ordering take out. I think I rather sit and eat at the restaurant. The food is not the same if you have to warm it up. I prefer it hot and fresh out the kitchen. Plus you have the opportunity to ask for more sauce/condiments. I'm grateful they let us order. We called just a couple minutes before they closed at 2pm and we were able to put the order in for pick up. I ordered the Mardi Gras omelette with grits. I enjoyed the flavors of the omelette but I needed more of the red sauce that comes on top in the side. When I reheated the omelette it was a bit dry. The omelette and grits were a good portion. I was able to split it in half and will have some for tomorrow. My fiancé ordered the cinnamon French toast breakfast. It comes with two eggs and choice of meat. The French toast is very sweet and already comes with a sauce so it doesn't need any syrup. I liked it along with the fresh fruit. I love a good fresh squeezed orange juice! Probably won't ever come back again. I'm a server, I understand it's annoying to get a table an hour before closing. Hell I've had some 10 minutes before. But it's not an excuse to be terrible to your table. Not being present and the lack of care during ordering. Sure you might be tired that's one thing. Didn't ask if everything was good with our food (to which our pancake was undercooked and smoosh and had bits of dry clumps in it). Wish I could have checked if the pancake was supposed to be that undercooked but she never checked in on us. She checked in on her other table but I suppose since we were 20 years old she didn't quite care. We had to ask for our check and box from another server and even when she dropped off the bag she didn't say a word. We went in for Veteran's Day and waited approximately 40 minutes, only to see someone post a sign on the door stating they are out of the Veteran's Day special. I asked if they were going to be able to serve the Veteran's who had been waiting, their response was no and they would not be willing to substitute anything either. I know the Veteran's Day specials are not an entitlement, however the way they handled this situation was disrespectful and rude. It's rude to have vets waiting for nearly an hour to then post a sign saying they would not honor their special, had I not seen the sign, we would have waited in excess of an hour just to be told they would not honor the special. The cinnamon roll French toast was pretty good. There were a few burnt parts that wasn't so tasty. The strawberry lemonade tasted pretty good as well. Although there was no music playing, the crowd wasn't too loud, so the noise level was average. However, I would suggest that they add a second TV to the left side of the bar. I am definitely not a fan of Another Broken Egg. My wife convinced me to get there and we both regretted it. I ordered a bloody mary. It was fine, but way overpriced for how bland it was. My issue was my food. The biscuits and gravy in the menu is like $16 and comes with sausage and I think an egg. I asked if I could just have the buiscuit and the gravy without the rest because I was not that hungry. The server said "yes" but when our food eventually came, he ended up bringing me everything anyway. Trying to make the best of it, I went ahead to try and eat my overpriced plate of stuff I didn't want. The sausage was beyond terrible and actually almost made me gag. It wasn't rotten or anything llike that, it was just a weird breakfst sausage that tasted horrible. The gravy was ok I guess but the biscuit looked like a buscuit but had the texture of microwaved Wonderbread. It was pretty bad. I tried a couple of bites and sent it back, content to finish my very "meh" blood mary while my wife finished her breakfast. It took quite a long time for the server to return with our check but when he did, the food I sent back was still on there. My wife instructed him to remove it and the server went back to disuss it with the manager. In a few minutes, he returned with a new check minus the rejected plate. Now to be fair, maybe I just caught this place on a bad day. Maybe the sausage isn't terrible normally and maybe the biscuits are typically better. I'm actually willing to conced the possibility. What I find odd is that a full plate was sent back and the manager never cared enough to even come out and ask what was wrong.
