They give out 2 dollar bills as change which is fun & adds to the experience. by letting the staff help me, I've left with exactly what I was hoping for. The workers here are extremely friendly! Whenever I'm looking for something in particular they do the most to go over different strains and which would be best. Most of the products can be expensive compared to other dispensaries in Kirkland or Seattle, but they have so many deals going on that the price evens out. NEW OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The bud tender was so stupid she didn't even know what CBD was, then when I told her "hey since you guys have been robbed like 50 times maybe you shouldn't put the product on the counter like that" and she ran to her manager and hid under the counter like a small child, the manager came over and got all pissy and said "you saying we easy to rob bro?" he was very aggressive for no reason then when I was about to check out he randomly ego tripped and said "get the f*** out of my store" then speed walked to the backroom where he hid from me like the spineless coward he is. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at this store over the years, they were my main shop since they opened, but unfortunately after the buyout they are absolutely floundering under the new owners/managers. I am never spending a single penny at this sorry excuse of a store, and I'm making sure all my friends go to Origins instead. Everyone who works here is an awful person and I sincerely hope you get robbed again so I can laugh and say "TOLD YA SO DUMBASS". The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the selection of products is always good and if what you are looking for isn't available you can always ask the staff, and they can tell you when the product you're looking for will be back in stock. As far as pricing goes that's really up to what you've picked out. They have everything from cheap party weeds meant for large group up to high shelf more expensive buds. The variety of product types is also great. It's also of note if you read some of the 1-star reviews they mention surly staff or other petty complaints that read like they're from tourists expecting the staff to literally drop everything and ignore any other customers to talk to them first. Andrew is the type of employee who drives business away. He has snapped at me saying " you need to move over there!" ....and he just has a nasty attitude in general. The other staff here are much easier to work with. I avoid Andrew on the rare occasion I come here. Prices are fair for the east side. Selection is decent. I had high hopes for Hashtag after moving here and having them recommended by family. I was shocked by this store more than once. I've had a few decent experiences, day shift is typically kind, but I guarantee the negative actions outweigh the good. There's a half decent selection of product, but even more at stores down the road. The parking lot is a nightmare, and they don't have a proper ID validation system. As I moved here out of state, I do not have a Washington license. I understand that this can cause brief and fixable issues, however Hashtag is the only store that has turned me away. The budtender was cold and refused to acknowledge the words I was saying regarding my license, refusing to have another peer come to confirm and there are no ID scanners. I was also made aware of how the employees treat homeless people standing outside of the store and I've been informed of how the owners negatively treat past and present employees. From my understanding, the employee that assaulted a homeless man did not receive disciplinary action for approximately a full week. That is deplorable. Weird vibe for a dispensary. Really tense, awkward, kind of a "get this interaction over with" energy. Save yourself the annoyance. read more

Since I have a hour bus ride with no weed, after being denied service,Picture this, your parent passes 3 weeks ago, no contact after finding out for a week, you miss the funeral because your family is just that disoriented with communication, on top of that, finding out that same parents' ashes being stolen along with all your clothes in your storage after just picking them up. So instead of sending someone to go meet my parent I decided I would try Hashtag cannabis to debrief, I had an order on 12/10 that I unfortunately didn't pick up but when I called to see if they would accept my paper ID and they SAID THEY WOULD. So on 12/12 ,since I'm interested in some of the menu options I hop on the bus for OVER AN HOUR after work for these fu**ers to tell me they can't use my ID. I'm just tryna smoke,The same WA STATE ISSUED TEMPORARY(accompanying TWO pictures of my my IL ID, and WA ID) that has been accepted at the dispensary "Remedy"in Marysville, "Kush 21 " in Everett, "Zips" in SoDo and even "Evergreen" in Bellevue. BUT hashtag is the ONLY dispensary/gov't building that has denied me service for having an temporary ID, what's the point in having one if I can't use it. I say that to say DO NOT COME TO THIS DISPENSARY. YOUR TIME AND ENERGY as a customer will be welcomed better elsewhere. I needed something to help me sleep. They sold me an awful tasting product. I tired to take back the sealed unused bottle the next day, they agreed it tasted awful and did not work as expected but they would not take back the product and are still selling it. Looked online to see what they had and showed an employee the list of items that I wanted and he was able to find them all quickly, answer any questions that I had, and get me checked out. Not sure if they do this to everyone or if it's because of my 10 step Asian skincare routine, but the guy had me show ID twice (upon entering and also before checking out). Btw, this place is CASH ONLY, so come prepared. They have an ATM if you forget. They also have some sort of rewards program if you give your phone number and zip code. I have been shopping with # since they started back by the car wash, and we would follow them outta town if they moved. Their product's reasonably priced, with a tremendous selection... But what stands out is their 'tenders. Phoenix specifically has helped me often and even showed me some outdoor that I now buy at every visit, despite my "top shelf" indoor variety preference (and prior unwillingness to even smoke outdoor). They are truly knowledgeable and honestly want to help you find exactly what you want! When you can genuinely trust someones advice you feel more confident in trying new things or branching out into areas you are uneducated about. Hashtag Redmond on some occasions can be inconsistent with restocking inventory, more then likely the vendors fault too. They may have the same products as their store in Seattle, but we noticed that both stores carry different batches, and therefore the flower is very inconsistent with regards to quality. We've been buying Vashon Velvet products, at first sight, the flower was amazing and the batch was grown right, but Hashtag hasn't restocked the strain we've been purchasing, last night and today I was sold a dry batch of prematured Vashon flower in Seattle and Redmond. Very inconsistent and inconvenient to the consumer who travels to get "quality products", as advertised by Hashtag. We probably invested over $1100 on Vashon products between both Hashtag locations, but yet they can't take back a $30 bad batch.. They obviously don't have any explanation to why their stores carry prematured flower, they always put the blame on the vendor. They say WA State laws dont allow returns, but when you drive out of King County, you will find stores that LEGALLY take returns per WA State law. Confused.. Shame on Hashtag! read more

For those out there like me who have no clue how to smoke marijuana (I know), supports the cause and wants to experience the positive medicinal benefits of CBD or cannabis, then I'd definitely recommend coming here- primarily for the knowledge and information the employees have. I heard cannabis can help lower my blood pressure. So I took a shot to try something new. First and foremost, it looks sketchy, but it's not. Being part of a car wash makes people like me immediately feel something's weird about this whole experience. Don't worry! It's ok. It's also ok to park in the stalls meant for the washing and vacuuming your cars. Guess it's the same owner. Because of Washington's laws, the staff are a little intense about rules. Some over interpret things while others are a bit more practical. Funny thing, it can be the same rule enforced differently- all up for interpretation by the employee. Very interesting to witness this! The best thing about this place though is that the staff have been very educational. It's hard to ask how to benefit from cannabis without getting 'high,' or talking about your medical problems with a sales person... but if you're honest, as I was about my blood pressure, they can break things down easier and really help. read more

Hashtag has a new location downtown with an easy parking lot and is the best dispensary in Redmond. 1. Location is perfect and right next to Origins and close to Always Greener should you want to shop the district and enjoy yourself. 2. Prices are the best in Redmond. Selection is monstrous and first class products for every thrifty budget and individual. They also have a very wide top shelf selection with Western Cultured/Dank Czar and other smaller best of the best growers. 3. Budtenders truly enjoy working there and happily offer great recommendations and take their time showing you the product and have fun doing so. Not all are absolute pot experts of course but there is usually one total expert listening in and helping the newer ones out perfectly. The shop culture is excellent and so warm and professional. The car wash days are no more. 4. If you were displaced due to Covid and lost your job or work they will offer you a 20% discount. That speaks volumes about what type of community business this is. It's not a profit stuffer but a true place and service for the Redmond community. I even sent my mother here to get a gel for her knee pain and she loved the low prices and kind customer service.
