Wasn't defiled by graffiti artists or anything. Seemed to be well stocked with toilet seat covers and toilet paper. There was a sign warning about critters and even poisonous critters in the vicinity. Also, a rather large parking area for both cars and semi-trucks or trucks with campers, etc. towed behind them. If you're driving and get tired, please pull in and rest for a bit, that's why it is called a rest stop, right? It was better than expected, rather busy, and very safe. Definitely a decent place to stop and use the facilities.

It's near mile marker 87, about 64 miles west of Phoenix, AZ and 68 miles east of Quartzsite, AZ. The rest area has clean restroom facilities, plenty of parking for vehicles of different sizes (from motorcycles to 18-wheelers), several picnic areas, dog walking area, snack machines behind heavy metal bars, and a water spigot. There are some fun informational signs about topics unique to Arizona --(1) rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, and scorpions. (2) state parks, attractions. (3) fun facts about cacti. (4) and my favorite, the 5 Cs of Arizona: cattle, citrus, climate, copper, and cotton. My understanding is that Arizona allows motorists to stay here overnight, and restrooms are open 24/7; however, it's likely to be very noisy given its proximity to the freeway and the high volume of trucks and traffic coming into the rest area.
