We came in on a Saturday and worked with Zeb. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, authentic and most importantly he gave us time to discuss amongst ourselves while choosing the right mattress for us. He listened to all of our indecision and made us feel informed and comfortable with our ultimate decision. He never pressured us to spend more than we wanted or get add ons we didn't need. I truly never thought I'd review a mattress store, let alone so positively. I walked into that experience feeling like I was going into battle but walked out relieved and excited about our purchase. Zeb is the reason for that. 10 out of 10 for Zeb!

I believe we have a problem here. The 2 mattresses I purchased mid-January were promised in "2 - 3…read moreweeks" because they were "custom made." I bought the line. This stretched to 4 weeks where I was re-promised 2 more weeks. I pulled the plug at 6 weeks with no sign that I would ever get my purchases. My request for a refund was processed immediately upon request. This experience resembled a ponzi scheme whereby my payment was being used to pay down prior expenses and the factory simply was not delivering new goods. American Mattress has apparently already gone through reorganization and the retail landscape is littered with their closed stores. It is unfortunate because I liked the product I chose and found the salesperson knowledgeable. But my recommendation is buyer beware.

I worked with Bob Palka, sales manager... and he was awesome! He hooked me up with a Simmons Beauty Rest and I'm sleeping like a baby now. These guys have their own delivery drivers - not subcontracted - which is important if you don't want to get talked out of refusing a delivery after having holes cut in your old mattress (Steinhafel's in VH... stay away from them!). American Mattress has a great return/exchange program and Bob is a solid sales guy who cares about his customers. Go see Bob!!!

Now they came today, Wednessday, and said the old one was marked queen and they couldn't take it back. How stupid is that. I needed to get permission from the store who is supposed to call back but probably can't deliver it today even though the new one is in the truck. Why do they care whether the old one is the wrong size!!!! Nobody apologizes for anything of course, Unless they deliver it today I will cancel the entire order.
