The staff person immediately was curt and when asked to check with her manager, she returned to say all sales were final. The item I purchased was discounted but it did not say that it was a final sale on the merchandise or my receipt- which was never even asked for. I like to shop local when I can. But local businesses who refuse to kindly work with the consumer is why it's not easy to do so -their loss.

The pillow cases were out of stock so Shepherd's dream shipped them for no charge. The unbleached cotton is incredibly soft and beautiful and the thread and stitching are perfect. I use the pillow as a travel pillow for myself as I am a small person and don't want to pack a bigger pillow. This purchase is a wonderful, lasting and affordable souvenir of my vacation. The cost was out of my budget so when I stopped in at Quality Mattress, I learned there was a third option, which was to have my mattresses rebuilt. They have the only manufacturing plant in Southern Oregon. I was quoted a fantastic price for the 2 twins and since my mattresses were reversible they made one side firm and the other side medium. Quality Mattress even rebuilt my box springs and when the set was returned promptly to me I was so elated as they were also recovered and looked brand new. Even though they did extra work they refused to charge me more. My mattresses are comfortable and my guests will be able to sleep well. I am also thankful that I could help a local family owned company of a fine reputation.

While primarily an online sales warehouse, they have a remarkable collection of deadly and beautiful insects embedded in resin, cult artifacts, medical instruments and artifacts and oddities such as two-headed chicks...if you're into this sort of thing you'll understand. But wait, there's more! They charge a $5 admission, fee (refundable with purchase) so you can shop and take in the small museum. If you've ever wanted to preview burial you can even take a mercifully short coffin ride. This place is a really interesting stop.

David and Stephanie greeted us with a welcoming and informative tour of the facility. They've accumulated a vast and diverse collection of things that go bump in the night ranging from; but not limited to: taxidermy, Post Mortem & embalming, ritual artifacts and literature, and decorative embellishments. Perhaps my favorite article of the experience was a beautifully vinyl bound gilded hardcover edition of an actual transcription of the Egyptian "Book of the Dead" made Hollywood famous in the 1999 moving picture "The Mummy" starring Brenden Fraser and Rachel Weisz. This is a real ancient Egyptian document that was written on papyrus scrolls and hieroglyphic golden plates that contained spells and instruction on guiding souls to the afterlife through process of mummification and the protocols required by the demands of the ancient Gods, Horus, Anubis and Osiris. I've found many books containing author renditions of personal interpretation on this book but never one that relayed the exact description of each illustration and proper translation of context. A rather exceptional piece they have obtained that is available for purchase in their store and online. I was not only impressed by their display and decor so much as i was also surprised to see their strong social media presence and structure. They have multiple multimedia stations set up for their marketing platform containing illuminated product photo booth studio as well as a livestream and video recording station for a more interactive and visual approach for online conversions. As a business owner and expert in marketing, I can appreciate the effort, attentiveness and care it takes to fulfill this level of ambition. The overall take-away is that they managed to take a regular steel framed aluminum warehouse and created a masterful business structure in the guise of an immersive experience in to the dark side of the world and beyond.
