Tell the truth to start. Delivery what the online menu says, not what you want to change it to. I ordered the $85 tray but received only slightly more than $65 tray. I have photograph and screen shot as proof. I've previously ordered twice before and got what was advertised. The woman I spoke to on the phone was extremely argumentative and insisted I was wrong and that facts are apparently not facts. I offered to provide proof but she wouldn't provide their Email address. The food is good and nicely presented. I was just deceived and taken advantage of by about 25% of the price. During my visit, my partner and I ordered one item apiece, never asking for anything other than the food and being checked one once. Once we paid, the staff member opened the bill fold, noticed there was no tip and very rudely asked why she wasn't given a tip and attempted to go back and forth with my partner about him not tipping. she attempted to state that it was required, but of course we know better. By the way, we tip very often every time we eat here. After embarrassing us, to the point where he had to tell her his occupation to get her to back off, she then had the audacity to tell us not to sit inside if we weren't going to tip. She literally said "next time, if you aren't going to tip, make your order to go." to which we promptly informed her we'd NEVER return. If every time we come here it's incredibly empty, you'd think they'd treat loyal, unproblematic customers better. Mind you, this place charges for to go sauces. We happily paid for what we ordered and despite popular delusion, tipping IS OPTIONAL. We will never return. The food isn't even all that good to warrant that behavior. read more

I've been coming here to get my sushi fix for the past year and sadly will not any longer. Today I ordered my usual takeout order and was served grey salmon. I have never eaten salmon of this color and it only took a quick google search to find that this signifies that the fish is bad. As a frequent customer, I am very disappointed. I came here for lunch today with a coworker, but I have been here maybe three times before and have always been very pleased. Today I ordered the vegetable hibachi lunch. It comes with soup- I opted for miso- and a salad with a ginger dressing. The meal consisted of stir fried vegetables and white rice. All of it tasted great. I ordered the fried tofu with dipping sauce because how could anything fried with a dipping sauce be bad? The waitress was clueless and just as I was about to order she tells me to hold on, leaves and proceeds to get into a screaming match for 5 minutes with another employee! Easily, the BEST sushi I have had in Tallahassee. Arguably, the best sushi I have ever had. Everything was the right temperature, and the right quality of fish. Sampled maki rolls, sashimi and nigiri of the chef's choice. The price was amazing for the great food. The server was polite, but enthusiastic. The chicken soup (broth) was very flavorful with a few slivers of mushrooms and scallions. I really enjoyed this. Light and refreshing!
