Spicy Chicken Bulgogi, rice and kimchi.
    Aaron C.

I happened to be staying in Tallahassee for the week for training. I have lived in South Korea twice for a year each time and I miss the food the most. I stopped in to order the Chicken Bulgogi and asked if they could make it spicy. The staff was extremely kind and suggested I take some pepper powder just in case because they didn't want to make it too spicy. This was an excellent suggestion as it let me control how much more I wanted to add. The food was excellent and immediately took me back. If you are looking for an authentic experience with a courteous staff definitely give this place a shot. I will be coming back the next time I am in town.

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. I've been eating their food since they were on Tennessee street. Their in a new location but it's still the same great food and service. This time was no different. I had the beef bulogogi as I usually do and I added egg. It was very good. There only open to-go at this point so that's one thing to keep in mind.

Deliciously cooked meals with super friendly and amazing staff. They are family-owned and treat their employees like family as well. I have a soft spot for Korean Barbeque & More since my fiancé used to work here when he was in college and he always talks about how kind Mr. Swan, the restaurant owner, was and how he took care of them well. Korean Barbeque & More has all the basic Korean meat dishes you could crave!! Their meat bowls include beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, or chicken bulgogi. All the meat dishes come with rice, kimchi, and miso soup (free of charge). A nice pro-tip for an even better meal is to add the egg, which is only an extra $1 more-- SIGNIFICANTLY WORTH IT. Based off our group voting (where everyone ordered a different one and tried each), beef bulgogi seems to be a big winner, but pork bulgogi is not too far behind. Some might argue they enjoy the pork bulgogi more because it has a bit more spice to it. We love that everything is made SO FRESH and comes out so hot. It's also so nice to wait for your food because you can smell all the amazing smells, mainly that beef bulgogi, cooking through the air. MAKES ME DROOL. The kimchi is a great level of fermented and sour, just what I like. And the miso soup is so yummy with the tofu and real seaweed. A good amount of seaweed too!! YUM. In addition to the meat bowls, they also have different rice bowls, like Bibimbap, bibimbap with beef, and a sashimi bowl. I haven't tried these yet, but I've heard good things if you enjoy bibimbap!! There is soup and noodle options as well, from japchae with or without beef to kimchi stew and dumpling soup. My absolute favorite is the kimchi stew. SO MUCH TOFU AND KIMCHI IN THE STEW AND IT IS SO GOOD. Also, it is served with rice, miso soup, and kimchi (yes, more kimchi!!) free of charge. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO EAT THE STEW WITH RICE--there is no other way for this to be consumed haha. There is a hefty amount of soup and could almost serve two people!! The japchae is also yummy with all the toppings a great portions. When we ate here, they were take-out only, but based off our conversation with Mr. Swan, he said they plan to open dine-in at the end of September. Overall, such a wonderful and enjoyable experience ordering and eating Korean Barbeque & More food. Can't wait to visit and say hi to Mr. Swan another time soon!

I just got done eating and had to alert people of this restaurant. It is amazing. I would go as far as calling it soul healing. I hadn't had the greatest week and their dumpling soup felt so comforting that I immediately started feeling like a warm embrace. This food is made with care and passion. It is flavorful and does not rely on salt to give it flavor. I will always get their soup on rainy days. I hadn't been back since the pandemic and the place was full of couples sitting and enjoying great food. The staff was beyond friendly and welcoming. I found a new go to place on Tally.

    pork bolgogi

My favorite restaurant in tally. a smaller menu thats easy to pick from because every food item is perfect. My favorite part of this place has to be the service though hands down. Warm, welcoming, and always sweet. I think the owner is the one cooking on the line, and he'll personally check up on you if things are slow. ive only seen a smile on him. all in all i recommend. great food and great people.

Little hole in the wall that my boyfriend and his sister showed me. Everyone is very nice and each entree comes with kimchi and miso soup. I'm very big on miso soup and there was a self serve station. I ordered the beef bulgogi and the rice was very yummy.

This is one of my favorite places in Tallahassee! Friendly people and great food. I've enjoyed the beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, japchae, and bibimbap. All come with rice and complimentary miso and kimchi.

First timer and really looking forward to it. Rice malt: it has an acquired taste but is good, different and very refreshing. 5 stars. Kimchi soup: it was ok but I am not a fan of spicy food. Also, for my taste, it lacked texture. 2.5 stars. Korean Beef: I was expecting a lot more but I was disappointed :( It is "meh" and not memorable. It was seasoned ok but the texture was off. However the rice was better Price: very affordable! 5 stars. I will try this place one more time and purchase the dumpling soup.

Japchae w/ beef, miso soup and kimchi

I came around 7:10pm and it was busy even at that, I got the Japchae w/ beef, very good (though lots of onions), the owner brought me my food and was very kind and friendly, they have a little area where you can serve yourself miso soup, ice cold water and tea. I found the kimchi to be very delicious, I'm not disappointed at all

Over the course of our dinner, we chose the Galbi short ribs, Hawaiian beef, wine, pork belly, shrimp, octopus and vegetables from the main menu, lettuce to wrap around the protein and the crispy pork belly appetizer. I enjoyed everything but the octopus, but my favorites were the short rib and the Cajun shrimp. There was a robot that brought the food to us, which was neat. For dessert we got little cups of ice cream, chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. FYI, it's all you can eat, but you have to pay if you take food with you. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and the food. Our server James did a great job. I would like to go there with more people so we can try more items before we get full.

I somehow only stepped in there once to say hi to Yelpers prior to moving to the area. At any rate, I eventually moved to Tallahassee, and an acquaintance had told me this place was opening soon one day when I bumped into her at Costco. Given that this is Tallahassee and there aren't many food options, of course I was excited. Especially thinking back about all the positive things I had heard about the Pembroke Pines location. It turns out that this location in Tallahassee opened up some months back (February exactly per the hostess) and today was the day we went to try it out. I will tell you that it can be easy to miss this restaurant. It is next to Essence of India, and if you aren't paying attention, you won't notice that this is right next door. The interior is pristine. A large bar sits at the center of the room. As far as the room itself, it's vast and spacious, with there even being a connected area with you guessed it--more rooms! We were led to a table and Brandon was our server. He was nice and got the job done, along with his robot coworkers. This restaurant has robots that personally bring you some food items. It's been awhile since I've seen this, but it was super cute, particularly as the robots were polite with one another, even saying "excuse me." We began with drinks. I had a strawberry boba tea with strawberry boba. Potentially an overkill of strawberry, but it's my favorite. My companion went for bottled Kirin beer as they were out of draft. In terms of our lunch, you begin with four meats, two appetizers to share, and an individual side. My companion let me choose the appetizers, so we began with spring rolls and pork belly. The spring rolls were accompanied by sauce and they were the clear winner. I felt the pork belly was too seasoned, although cooked properly. For our meats, we chose spare ribs, ribeye, curry chicken, and Cajun shrimp. I'll tell you that the Cajun shrimp was not spicy at all and I had been warned, so I dunked that in all sorts of sauces (they give you yum-yum sauce, chili oil, and teriyaki just so you know). They also give you kimchi, radishes, and bean sprouts--all super yummy! As for the sides, he had fried rice and I had japchae noodles. We were overall quite pleased with our lunch. I definitely see why people I know raved about this chain, because well, now I'm raving about them, too. I will say though that next time I want to go to dinner and with friends. It feels like it'd be a fun experience, especially as it's all-you-can-eat!

The cook pr a runner brings it out to you. This place is very much a strip center restaurant, but it has the feel of a genuine Asian place that just happens to be in a strip center. The dining room is very fast food. Nothing really special. They're nice pictures on the wall and all that, but it is not fancy in the least. Your food comes out very quickly. And as previously discussed, it comes to your table. My poke bowl was very fresh and had tasty cucumbers and seaweed salad and what I think might've been arugula. If it was a arugula, it was definitely a mild variety. The Aji tuna was wonderful so was the cucumber and the fruit that was in there, I think it was a nectarine. It was very wonderful and the rice was good too. The cream cheese roll was really just basic, it was clean. It tasted good. There was plenty of fish, but it was a small roll as it says on the menu small rolls. Then there was the FSU role. It is described as a large role. It is a huge role. I could've used it as my entire meal. It is a cooked roll. It comes out warm very warm and it is the closest thing to Midwestern comfort food that I have ever had in an Asian restaurant. It was soft. It was warm. It was like a hug from your mom. That is if your mom makes incredibly good sushi. It was crunchy where it was supposed to be crunchy. It was firm where it was supposed to be firm, but it was without a doubt one of the best sushi rolls that I have had in the last 30 years. That is no hollow praise, I have had sushi on two continents in across the United States, and Canada and across Europe. It was amazing. So if you want an incredibly good, but not horribly expensive Hawaiian or Asian or sushi type meal, try this place They also have bull Gogi, but I did not try it. I was in the mood for fish.
