Thank goodness for this store! I needed to stock up on maternity clothes during second trimester when my body started changing so much. I loved how the clothes felt like something I would wear anyway..but with room for baby! The nursing bras and underwear have also been a god send. They don't have all sizes so if you are coming back for an exchange, you are simply shit out of luck. You don't get receipt emailed to you even though I called 4 times to get one re sent. I love this store! I've stopped by twice now - first when I just found out my sister was pregnant, and second when she was around 7 months. Both times, the staff was super accommodating and helped me find the perfect gift. They shipped the gifts to my sister in California, too! I pretty much want to wear everything in the store, and it's pretty great that the clothes is wearable both pregnant and not. While I'm not there (pregnant, I'm not pregnant), the store is fantastic and fun - especially because there's a candy bar downstairs with all the classic goodies. read more

Employees decided to close early on a Saturday. Not just like 5 minutes early. The doors were shuttered at 4:10pm when then advertise being open until 5pm. Employees just responded to knocking by shaking their head no. My wife made a 45 minute journey just to go buy some pregnancy leggings and is supremely disappointed that the trip was wasted. I wouldn't recommend this brand to anyone since the employees aren't respecting the time of customers. We should have respected the negative reviews before even trying them. Stay clear! read more

We had tremendous success shopping at the Hatch collection on Bleecker Street. I had ordered a gift for my wife from the online store (no issues there) and wanted to get her something additional. Naive to women's clothing, and to maternity clothing, I was hoping the the store would bring me some inspiration or at least knowledge of the items firsthand. Knowing I was still in need of something else but unsure of what to do, I relied on Molly's expert advice to find something that fit to my wife's style and stage of her journey. There was one piece that I really like that wasn't in stock and Molly figured out a way to reserve it and ship it to me seamlessly. The team at Hatch are super helpful and if you are looking for something to wow someone in your life who is expecting, you can't have to go to Hatch. read more

@HATCHcollection Last week, I purchased the 4th Trimester Nesting Bundle for my wife in lead up to her due date this week. I used a 20% coupon code, and ordered a Small and received my order confirmation via email. Three days later, I get emails from @HATCHcollection stating my order was cancelled and I would be fully refunded because the size is no longer available. No one reached out to inquire if I would be willing to select a different size, color, or sell me the items individually (which they have in stock). Then I was offered a 15% discount to order other items if I wanted to. Okay, so I re-ordered the bundle in a Medium to see if it would fit and they did provide a new discount of 20% after I said something. I get the package today and it doesn't fit her; only the robe (jogger and bra does not). So I reach out to @HATCHcollection and inquire if I can return all items but the robe. Additionally, I share that the jogger is actually available in Small on their website so I request to have it exchanged. This was their response: "Unfortunately we are unable to process your request. Bundles do not have the systemic flexibility to be exchanged for other sizes. The entire bundle would need to be exchanged for a different size. If the size is not available, you would need to initiate a return for refund. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience. For some background, separate inventory is allocated for the bundles and they are packaged accordingly for each size we offer. Therefore we can not pull from other inventory because those pieces are allocated for the individual online purchases. We understand this is not ideal but this how our system is currently set up. We are unable to override this process." What kind of customer service are you actually providing here with this cumbersome and company-first policy? Do they not know their customers are birthing mothers with no time for this BS? And after spending $300 on 3 sleepwear items you cannot sell me things separately? Unheard of in retail. Do not buy from @HATCHcollection or proceed with cation when you do. I thought I would surprise my wife with a special gift post delivery and all I got was headache. Probably the only maternity retailer who's aesthetic I'm into. The store is adorable, and the associates are super sweet and helpful. I love the cravings bar. I try to keep it healthy but I definitely scarfed down a few sour gummies and they really made me happy :) The negatives: The sizing is really off - you have to try everything on. They also don't have a great inventory and are often out of sizes. Mostly everything is cut for someone tall. On top of that, the return policy is HIDEOUS. These days people have come to expect more standard (better) return policies. There should be at least a month for a refund. Especially for pregnant women, who often are not feeling well and can't rush to make it in. Pair that with high prices and it's a bit of a turn off. I keep checking for sales and can only buy in store to make sure things actually do fit. I had to mail back my first web order. read more

If you've ever eaten a sandwich in your life don't shop here! They don't have anything above a size 8, and hey guess what pregnancy means weight gain! The last thing you want to do when you're pregnant is try on pretty clothing that's supposedly made just for pregnant women and it's all too small. I would give a lower review if I could. After having a number of issues ordering these items online, being charged then being told the items are no longer available, down the line I spoke to customer support about ordering directly from a store. I've been pretty desperate for maternity clothes so decided to try once more. They told me this store has the items I was looking for in stock and once I called them this was confirmed over the phone. The woman checked on a number of items and told me she has my sizes in some while others were sold out. For the items that she clearly stated are available, she said they would make it in time to be shipped out that day and I can expect a tracking number shortly and then she charged my card. Now a week later I called in to see why I never got a tracking number and am told that everything is sold out and nothing was shipped. If I had never called then they would not have even realized that they never filled my order however they did remember to instantly charge me. Needless to say I won't be trying to place an order a third time. read more

Incredible experience. I visited Hatch for the first time recently and had nothing but amazing assistance from every sales associate. I was greeted warmly and offered water + snacks (Umm hello! That's what every preggo gal dreams of happening when she walks through any door!). I was assisted by Grace and she helped put together the most perfect little collection of pieces for me to take home while making me feel wonderful and welcome. In fact, Grace still helps me with finding new pieces even though we're on opposite coastlines...like I said, amazing assistance! I have never experienced a local company that was not willing to take a look at a defective article of clothing I got from them. They told me to reach out to netaporter, but netaporter told me to reach out to them, but hatch again told me to reach out to them (they just did not want to assume any responsibility). I wrote 3+ times because a pair of their shorts had stitching come undone. They weren't willing to help me replace these. They were really expensive and are not good quality. I will never support such a company like this :( This happens once in a while and other company open warmly to accept faulty items back (they are all made in china?). read more

I love the nursing nightgown so much that I have it in every color! The belly masks and oil are great too! The oil doesn't have a harsh smell to it like bio-oil and other skin oils I've tried so I'm able to use them as often as I'd like without an issue! read more

So happy I found this store! I am 5 months pregnant and often at a loss as to how to dress my ever changing body. However, my experience with shopping at Hatch was a sheer pleasure. The girls were so helpful and Grace really saved the day with the pieces she pulled. I have already worn a few of the items and received many compliments. Great customer experience in store although they sold me a dress with two stains on it. The dress was for a wedding. I bought the dress in May but did not look at it again until mid-August for the Sept 1 wedding. While they offered to exchange the dress for me, it was too close to the wedding to do so beforehand. I requested a credit but they refused saying it was too late as the seasons had changed. I had to buy a different dress for the wedding and now have a dress that I don't need nor want anymore. Note: I spent over $1200 on the day I bought the dress. Service was good when I was there but considering it's a pre/post baby store, I would expect them to be more understanding of busy moms with little ones who don't have time to run around looking for dresses. They should make sure they aren't selling stained clothing and offer a credit no matter the season. read more

THE place to get chic maternity wear that you can wear before and after delivery. This brand knocks it out of the park! The store is super adorable with a crave bar downstairs full of candies, chocolates, fruits, ice tea and ice cream :) The sales staff, Tisha and Sam, are the sweetest, most helpful people. The new skin care line is priceless - think body oil/face mask for your pregnant tummy, nipple care balm. Very creative and finally a line that is geared towards the stylish mommy to be! Hatch has been such an amazing find!! My friend recommended I come shop here and just wow! It's my new favorite store. I feel so beautiful dressed in maternity clothes, I did not think it was possible. Their collection is stylish yet classic and oh so delish! I just went shopping and think I bought the entire fall collection! I am due in December but most of what I have purchased can be worn long after she arrives.
