Best nail salon in the area! Service seems more on a personal level unlike other locations with a push and go atmosphere.

I was debating on writing this review as the staff was nice but after talking with friends they suggested I write it. Unfortunately, I ended up getting rings of fire. :( I didn't realize the damage until I went to another salon to remove the gel and the worker was shocked to see that all of my nails on my hand were damaged. Some nails were more damaged than the others. I paid $120 for a gel mani pedi($20 tip included) and then $20 to change the color of my gel manicure(again with $5 tip included) only to end up with damage on my nail after :( I rarely get my nails done, only for work when required and never had an issue. I decided to try a new salon as this had better reviews and ended up with damaged nails ): Edit: I included a receipt showing I went here recently with the price. Also the damage isn't from not caring my nails, it's from the overfilling from the removal. I removed the gel on 5/8 too as stated on the photo. read more

The service was wonderful. Needed a manicure and pedicure for a military ball. I did gel x and the tech who did it did a great job. She cut them down how I wanted, made sure every nail was even. I went for a black French tip with silver glitter, showed a picture for reference. All the concerns I was thinking like touch up on the sides of the nails, making sure the length was even to even making sure the nails were smooth she knew exactly to address those! Even though I had a confirmed appointment for one day this week I found out they changed their hours to close at 3 daily. No phone call to tell me. I never let them do my fingernails as I just wasn't sure about the quality. Only did pedicures and was not impressed the 3 times I was there. I always give a place a chance. I saw an advertisement for Hatlo Nails and Spa on FB and remember thinking "oh, that nail spa has cute decor!" Then I saw a couple of people posting about how much they liked their service. My husband and I decided to do a self-care day together and get pedicures, and I remembered Hatlo, because it's an interesting name. So I messaged through the website to request an appt and was able to get in the same day. The salon is beautiful and Vickie and Helen were very welcoming! Hubby got a basic pedicure and initially I was going to get a basic mani/pedi, but decided to get gel for my mani. The whole experience was a delight. We had great convos with Vickie and Helen throughout, the massage chairs were very relaxing, and the hand and foot massages were heavenly (and this was just for the basic service!) We were both very happy with what we got. The salon is beautiful, clean, and the decor is very relaxing. Vickie offered snacks and water when we got there, and overall the ambiance and service was excellent. I highly recommend Hatlo for all your self-care nail service needs! I booked here because of how convenient it was to do online. I received a call confirming my appointment which I never had from a nail place but if anything it foreshadowed the quality of customer service they have. I only got a basic pedicure but I'm excited to make this my go to and try their "jelly" nails.
