False return policy and endless exchange delays -- buyer beware…read more I ordered nightstands from Modani in December 2025 and was disappointed when they arrived -- they were much shorter than expected. When I attempted to return them, I quickly discovered that Modani's advertised return policy is essentially a fiction. While they claim to offer returns, the fine print requires the customer to cover return shipping costs that far exceed the value of the furniture itself. In practice, that means there is no return policy. Rather than fight a losing battle, I worked out an exchange and ordered a couple of lamps, candles, and one other small item. That was over two months ago. As of today, I still have no delivery date. Every time I call, I'm told to expect delivery in "two more weeks" -- a response I've now heard repeatedly with no resolution. Frustrated, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB has since informed me that Modani is not even responding to them. Do not order from this company. Their return policy is a sham, their exchange process is a runaround, and their customer service is non-existent. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere that actually stands behind their products.

Isaac Yacar immediately greeted us and explained all about the company and the companies they work with. After that there was no high sales pressure even though it was the first day open after Covid19 shutdown. We spent two hours trying out everything (very large showroom) and narrowed it down to two sets. Isaac gave us prices and then we left. Isaac said good-bye and told us his schedule without any schedule. Two days later we went back and sat for another hour and finally made our decision after we had visited a couple of other showrooms in the area which he encouraged us to be good consumers. The selection and quality did not compare at the other stores so we were comfortable with Isaac and Today's Patio. Due to Covid it would be almost three weeks for delivery, but Issac assured us we would be happy with the delivery company. Once home we tried to reserve our building's elevator for the date of delivery, but it was not available. I called the store and Angela was extremely helpful and worked with the movers to find a date that worked for us. Delivery day Cesar (owner) and Anthony of San Diego called 1 hour before delivery and the 15 minutes before arrival. It was a very snug fit and they both handled the furniture like it was their own. The unpacked and put all the cushions on completed the job in less than 30 minutes. Both were very professional and I will be doing a separate review for them and will use them for any future moves in this area. Everything is even more comfortable than we remembered in the store and are very pleased with our purchase.
