We had Hauser's replace the fabric slings on our six cast aluminum patio chairs, and we couldn't be happier with both the results and the customer service. After more than a decade of use, the fabric had worn out, but the chair frames were still in great shape. When we visited the store, Jesus walked us through all of our options in a straightforward, no-pressure way. What really impressed us was his honesty - he even explained how we could paint the chairs and replace the slings ourselves if we wanted to save money. We decided to paint the chairs ourselves and then have Hauser's professionally install the new slings. The finished product exceeded our expectations. We came to Hauser's Patio to get some swivel/rocker chairs fitted with new slings. We had done this work ourselves in the past, but it is very hard work, and easy to damage the chairs. I chose and bought slings from a different supplier online, but Hauser's were very happy to work with these. The first thing that I loved was the pricing. Pickup and delivery of 6 chairs for only $95. Then fitting the slings was $60 per chair. When we did the work ourselves, it took at least 3 hours per chair for 2 people (unskilled, but with the right tools - stretcher bar etc) working on it. So, $60 per chair seemed very fair. Jesus and Nathan came to pick up the chairs. They wanted to come earlier than our original appointment, but they were very good about communicating and working with our schedule. They were very careful, friendly and respectful of our property. They were also very helpful in making suggestions for any future repairs that we may need. They got work on the chairs as soon as they got back to their workshop. I called Hauser's a couple of days after the pick up, to check on my understanding of the pricing. I was greeted by a very friendly voice (Jeremy) and given confirmation of the pricing, plus an update on the progress. Nathan was working on our project, and was almost done. I was amazed! It turns out that the friendly voice belongs to the owner - not often that the owner answers the phone in a business like this. Kudos to him. A day or so later, our chairs were returned to us. Pricing was exactly as quoted, with a few extras for replacement of broken plastic parts. Excellent service. The chairs will probably need recoating in the near future and the delivery guys were able to give us a very rough estimate of how much that would cost for aluminum powder coating. We bought a home in Encinitas, and wanted to redo our patio. We bought some furniture from a local store, and we're very happy with it. However, we were unable to find a patio table that met our needs. We ended up traveling down to Hauser's Patio on Morena Boulevard. It's a terrific store, with very helpful assistants. We found the perfect dining table, and bought it on the spot. We also had some fairly high quality vinyl strap patio furniture, but the vinyl was discoloring and sagging. So, we asked for a quote for restrapping four chaises longues (yes, that's the correct spelling), and six patio chairs. They gave a competitive quote, and said they'd be ready in 4 to 6 weeks. Sure enough, just over the 5 week mark, we received a call to say that they were ready. We're absolutely delighted with them. The new strapping looks marvelous, and Nathan, the guy who did it, took the time to clean up and touch up the metal frames. Everything looks like new. Definite five stars. read more

We recently purchased a new firebowl (American Fyre) and 2 outdoor heaters (Infratech) from Hauser's. The customer care was fantastic - Jesus helped us throughout the ordering process, kept us apprised of the delivery details and even delivered the heaters and firebowl personally, taking the extra time and care to make sure the firebowl was set up properly. We had our electrician install the heaters (240V). The heaters are perfect for our outdoor spaces (rooftop deck and a second over patio table), giving a cozy warm glow on chilly winter nights. For the firebowl, we used our previous lava rocks and added some blue fire glass - beautiful together! We're very happy we made our purchase at Hauser's patio, we felt very well taken care of. I've been in search of a high quality propane fire pit for my backyard for a few months and came across Hauser's after a google search and boy, was I lucky! I had visited a few other fire pit retailers around San Diego County and they either didn't have a good selection of nice fire pits or the fire pits they sold that I liked were back ordered for 6-8+ months. I reached out to Hauser's and Their amazing associate, Jesus, promptly responded and let me know that they did in fact have the fire pit I had my eye set on (the Louvre fire pit from American Fyre Designs) and in the color that I really wanted! They even price-matched the price I was given by another company for the same pit but in another color (because they didn't have the color I wanted). Jesus answered all of my questions regarding the fire pit and ensured that my fire pit was delivered within a week of me ordering. Jeremy and Elsa at Hausers were very knowledgable and easy to work with. I love that it is a local store, and that I can deal directly with the owners who are excellent. A few years ago I bought a ton of outdoor furniture from Macy's and they were deceptive and ultimately the furniture was expensive and has not lasted as promised. We were so happy with our entire experience with Hausers, we felt it was important to thank them, not just directly, but by expressing our appreciation on Yelp. They have a huge selection of quality backyard furniture so it was a great place to start. We knew sort of what we wanted but had some questions. This is where Hausers began to earn their excellent reputation. Elsa spent time with us and helped us make some decisions based on what we described. Due to Covid, our special order was going to take much longer than we'd hoped. Everyone at Hausers went out of their way to help us in the meantime. They refinished our old set at a very reasonable price and made it look like (even better than) new. They suggested colors and fabric that would integrate with the new set when it arrived. They worked very hard to make sure that at this time when any get togethers were outdoors, we would not be left stranded with no furniture. It should be noted that, prior to ordering our patio furniture at Hausers, we had ordered a backyard umbrella from a different store. The experience, from start to finish was entirely different. The other store did not communicate at all and we had to initiate all of the contact. When the umbrella (from the other store) finally arrived, the other store did not even let us know it was being delivered! It was delivered by a third party who left it in our driveway and would not bring it to our backyard or set it up in the in-ground mount which we had planned for. My husband and I were not able to figure out how to install it. Jeremy and Alex from Hausers coincidentally were delivering our other furniture later that same day. They looked at the umbrella and noticed that a part was missing! We would never have known and would have really been stuck on our own. We did what we should have done in the first place...called on Hausers. They came back and installed the umbrella the next day. Everything is perfect...the brand new patio set is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. We love it. Our old patio set has been given a new life and, in this day of outdoor get togethers, having two sets has really proven to be very worthwhile! The umbrella is perfect and we could never have done that on our own either. However, the cost was so prohibitive that I bought two new metal chairs ( with cushions ) that are very close in style to high end brand name patio furniture. In addition, the set included a matching small table for perhaps drinks and a plate of snacks ALL for less money than to refurbish one chair. read more

I'm a super easy sell, just want a good deal. After looking around the store and realized they have high Mark ups, (been shopping around for weeks and the inventory they have is not priced competitively at all) Way over priced!!! The staff made it super clear that they where unwilling to discount or discuss price, in fact they act annoyed if you ask, I tried politely to offer $7000 for a 10 foot umbrella and 5 patio chairs list price combined was $8200 only asking for a15% discount, it's a cash and carry furniture store so It's common that you ask for a deal, asked the rep if she would ask the managers and all I got was a passive aggressive rejection and a condescending attitude, I got frustrated at the lack of tack tactfulness also. The other thing that was off putting was that I was the only customer it's a big show room just me and some crickets and somehow from the beginning the sales associate made me feel rushed and unwanted, quick short fire answers no rapport building. The salesperson who helped us was extremely friendly and answered our questions knowledgeably and in detail, and when we didn't need him he went away. After dealing with store after store full of pushy, useless, idiotic salespeople (I suspect most furniture stores are staffed by the rejects from used car lots), this place is simply a breath of fresh air.
