I always come back for their hot chcolate! Not overly sugary, just a little sweet, and very light. Certainly not processed. The place is very charming and ive purchased small cookies which are good. I could not wait for the arrival of this coffee house. Concord needed this place. I have been there three times. I would give five stars for the coffee (mmmmm lattes), and five stars for the service. My son devoured a chocolate cupcake there yesterday that was really excellent. Why isn't my rating five stars? They need to install some kind of sound proofing/ strategically placed rugs. The dining area is very comfortable and attractive, but it was hard to carry on private conversation. This is a great place to catch up with a friend (but be careful what you say ;-) read more

The decor in this shop was adorable, cozy feel while still having enough space between tables, each with their own small vase full of fresh flowers. My iced coffee was made to order and absolutely phenomenal, they even asked if I preferred a light or a dark roast. This is a wonderful place to meet your girlfriend, great atmosphere, pretty and airy inside dining area. I loved their grilled cheese made with Cabot cheddar cheese that's nice and gooey, with a bowl of their creamy tomato basil soup. My girlfriend loved her tomato basil burrata sandwich made with tasty heirloom tomatoes, local burrata, basil, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. She devoured a bowl of their hearty chicken sausage soup with a side of bread. We ended with one of their house-made scrumptious desserts - a rosebud olive oil- grapefruit cake, and a rich chocolate cupcake with espresso chocolate frosting. She is a coffee lover, and was delighted with the cup of coffee suggested by their very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed a hot chocolate topped with real whipped cream. One of the best meals ever! The price was very reasonable for such good service and lunch! We will definitely be back for breakfast to enjoy their fresh egg sandwiches with melted cheese and bacon on a brioche roll! Yum. read more

Absolutely no indoor seating available do to several squatters with laptops/iPads and management lets it go. Coffee is great but hot breakfast so-so. Scones worth trying. But lack of seating means this is not an acceptable eatery in any capacity. read more

GREAT PLACE! One of the best spots in Concord, a bit hard to find, but a great place. I got the turkey club and it was one of the best I've ever had - delicious. The only thing that tampered my experience was the seating, or lack of. I had to wait in order to sit down and eat, there wasn't any seating available (understandable because it is a small place), but we found a spot a few minutes later. A very cozy place with a nice staff and great food/drinks. A true gem! read more

The coffee and pastries at this place are amazing. The pour over coffees are my favorite, but the espresso drinks are also delicious and creative. And they have real food too! I like the egg sandwich or the quinoa granola with yogurt. They get their ingredients at local farms, too, and the staff is super-nice. And they have wifi! read more

My first time in so I scrolled the chalkboard menu. Since I drink a triple latte, I saw the price of $4.20. I proceeded to ask the counter person how many shots that included and what an extra shot costs since there wasn't a price on the board for an extra shot. She told me they did not charge for extra shots. So I ordered my every morning triple latte, which is what I drink at a very well known national coffee chain. She then tells me the total is $5.90!! So there is a charge but they chose not to post it on the menu board. Yet, if you want extra bacon,ham or tomato, there's a charge which is clearly posted. I told her to keep her latte. This is a miserable coffee shop. We ordered a sandwich and were charged $14.00 for a sandwich that was way too small and it did not have all ingredients we ordered. The people working in this cafe were not courteous even to apologize or offer a refund. This place is run by a bunch of clowns !!! read more

Great coffee and sandwiches. Love to come here for a cup of coffee or lunch. Really wish that they would have more small tables rather than tables for 4. Unfortunately, there are lots of people who come here with a laptop and park themselves at a table for 4. It's unfortunate but about 1/2 the time you have to go elsewhere because there are no tables ( and no counter). We often come check out the table situation and then stay or leave depending on PC parkers. Would also love it if they got rid of the tip on the credit card machine. This is a bit awkward. If I want to leave a tip, I will. A cup would be great. And have a system like everyone else. If you want to leave a top you can add it to the tip line. Also, no cell phone conversations would be great. If I'm at a small coffee shop, I don't want to listen to someone doing business at the next table. Having recently moved to Concord from Somerville with my wife, I had high hopes for this place. We ordered two plain coffees and a toffee scone which were both good. Not sure the cost and relatively long wait (over 5 minutes when there was no one else at the counter) were worth it, but supporting local business is important and I overlooked it. All the seats in the main room were taken, but you could literally hear a pin drop. The lack of conversation and music felt strangely awkward. Our friendly suggestion that maybe the place could use some nice background music was met with surprising attitude. "We thought about having music, but decided not to" she said smugly. Whatevs. I want this place to succeed, but it's a bit too haute brow for us. read more

Thought it was going to be a sit down and order place but soon after we arrived noticed no wait staff collecting orders. So basically you order first then hopefully snag a table in a smallish room until someone calls out your name to deliver your food. At the front, I ordered a hot tea which came in a large cup - the hot water was close to the brim - and I was troubled that I had to carry it back to my table. I was praying along the way that I wouldn't trip or spill it on another patron. The portions are rather small. Sadly. Their baked goods are absolutely delightful! Mixed reviews have I about this place. May be worth another visit. read more

I new find for me, I ordered the turkey sandwich and some tea. I know, the coffee smelled great. My meal was fresh but not great for $9.00, the lettuce was abundant not so for the turkey itself. I think a snack and a coffee would be ok . When they take away the outdoor tables there is a very cozy space inside. Go for the coffee but not lunch. read more

This place is adorable! I'm so glad we found it. We had a drip coffee and fig tartine that was delicious. The flavors meshed perfectly. The staff were all friendly. So nice to be pleasantly surprised by how good something is, that happens so rarely. I was just looking for an iced coffee after kayaking on the Concord river and we found this place decided to give it a go. I got a cold brew iced coffee and my wife got a chai latte both of which were very good. Can also recommend the avocado toast and Iggy's sticky bun! We'll definitely go back. read more

I have mixed feelings about Haute. The food and drinks here are pretty great. I love how they serve their drip coffee in these beautiful glass carafes, and you get a lot of food for the price. On the other hand, the price! Yikes! Seven bucks for a grilled cheese sandwich?! And then, the grilled cheese is loaded with more cheese than a human stomach can handle! Some of the breakfast and pastry items here are marvelous, though. The inside is adorable. Imagine a cozy cabin made of rich, dark wood, furnished with shabby-chic loveseats and 2-person tables. When it's quiet in Haute, it's heaven. Now imagine that cute cabin stuffed to capacity with crying babies and tourists literally hovering over you for a table. This is not a place you can come and enjoy yourself for an extended period of time without garnering some dirty looks. Don't try to hole up here with your laptop and study. So next time you're in Concord, MA, take a peek in the window of Haute. If it looks relatively empty in there, definitely stop. If it's busy, get something to go or just skip it. read more
