Absolutely Horrible Experience with Marty at IHT…read more We recently purchased a Hot Springs hot tub from IHT and, while we absolutely love the tub itself, our experience with Marty was nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. A close friend of mine sells Hot Springs tubs and had helped us narrow down the exact model we wanted, so we walked in as an extremely easy sale. Unfortunately, Marty seemed to take that as a license to stop trying. He made it very clear from the beginning that customer service was not a priority. After negotiating and agreeing on a price, Marty insisted that we drive through a snowstorm with summer tires to deliver a physical check that day, claiming it was the only way to lock in the price. We later learned that was completely false when the store called to take final payment--over the phone, via credit card, with no issues or added fees. Post-purchase, Marty continued to drop the ball. He was consistently rude, condescending, and disorganized. He referred to me by the wrong name multiple times, even after I corrected him. He also scheduled our orientation, then canceled it the night before at 9 PM via text--saying his grandchild was sick and he needed the day off. I responded understandingly, expressing concern, but also letting him know how unprofessional that was. He never responded. The next morning, I called the store to follow up--only to have Marty answer the phone. When I asked why he was at work after canceling our appointment to supposedly care for his grandchild, he became defensive and rude instead of owning up to the situation or apologizing. When I expressed how upset I was about the entire experience and the promises he hadn't followed through on, he cut me off and started aggressively questioning what he hadn't delivered on. For an $18,000 purchase, I expected far better treatment--especially from a sales rep earning commission. Marty was dismissive, unprofessional, and made an exciting purchase stressful and frustrating. If you go to IHT and Marty is the rep who greets you, RUN the other direction!! I truly don't know how he's still employed there. Again--the tub itself is fantastic. But the experience getting there, thanks to Marty, was absolutely awful.

Marty came to our house multiple times for tub measurements and he always quickly responded to our phone calls and pleas for help. We wanted a hot tub that could go in our basement- not an easy task. In fact, previous dealers had told us it was not possible. With perserverance and Marty's expertise, the perfect hot tub, the Caldera Kauai, was found. Marty helped develop the plan to get it into our basement. We have been using our hot tub every morning for the last six months and could not be happier with it. Marty is trust worthy, knowledgeable and provides excellent service. I highly recommend him for your hot tub needs.

The patch work to repair it was horrible! Finally got them to agree to replace it and they cracked it again on delivery. I get it was poor delivery but they are using them as their delivery company so they need to stand behind that choice. Had to fight to get them to replace it. Really poor customer service. I had questions after and never heard from them again. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

The delivery guy was an ass, throwing screws at us and being extremely rude. we were missing parts after delivery and I had to go myself to the store to pick them up as Tracee never called or offered to set up delivery. Luckily, they did match it and I was able to schedule an appointment. I didn't know what to expect and since cold is NOT my thing, I only bought 1 session in 1 area. I chose to do my abs. Communication was awesome leading up to my appointment and they were able to get me in earlier than my Saturday 5p appt. Mariana did my Cryo Lipo and after taking my initial photos for progress, Mariana went in depth about the procedure and what to expect. The Cryp Lipo was a crazy experience...you start with blasts of nitrogen and it is cold. Mariana moved back and forth and between the cold and the noise, I think I held my breath for nearly the entire 2 minutes. There are 3 total nitrogen blasts. The next part is replacing the nitrogen blast with a frozen globe. I definitely liked that less than the blasts because it felt like cold acupuncture all over my abs. The globes are done twice and after you're all dressed, you stand on a vibration plate for 12 minutes. I think even after 1 session, I noticed a difference but I know I would need more sessions to get what I think would be ideal to tighten things up in conjunction with eating right and exercising. However, I am definitely glad that I did it and happy with my results. If you are thinking about cryo lipo, I would highly recommend Simply Amazing Spa for it!

The staff was friendly, the massage and package items were very enjoyable, and my sister was able to experience the full service that I purchased for her, which I really appreciated. I was running late due to traffic and arrived right on time for my massage, but I was a bit rushed and not fully settled mentally to ask detailed questions. During the service, my massage therapist, Melanie, mentioned that she was giving us a complimentary upgrade and began listing additional add-ons. We agreed to the CBD oil. No price was mentioned, and based on the wording "complimentary upgrade," I genuinely believed it was being offered for free as a nice gesture for my sister's birthday. After the massage and sauna, I checked out and was not charged for the CBD oil, which further reinforced that it was complimentary. However, the next morning I received a call stating that I needed to pay for the CBD oil treatment. (Which I end of doing). I explained that I believed it was complimentary and that had I known it was a paid add-on, I would not have chosen it. It wasn't something I needed or planned to add unless it was free. This situation was frustrating because it came down to unclear communication. The add-on should have been clearly explained as an extra charge, with pricing stated upfront. Using the word "complimentary" was misleading, and different wording should have been used to avoid confusion. The spa experience itself was wonderful, but the aftermath and how this was handled left me irritated. My advice to anyone visiting Simply Amazing Spa is to make sure you are fully focused and ask very clear questions about add-ons and pricing so you don't end up with unexpected charges after your visit.  The unclear and misleading communication about add-on services. An upgrade was described as "complimentary," no price was mentioned, and I wasn't charged at checkout, but was later asked to pay. This caused confusion and frustration and ultimately overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable spa experience.

As you walk in, the lobby is bright and clean. They have a water dispenser right as you walk into the back. They also have a fridge with beverages to purchase. I decided to do a room without a shower and it was plenty big with a TV in the room where you can select your ambiance music. Sydney the manager was very informative and explained everything in details. The sauna it self was set to 140 degrees, you can make it higher if you like but it was suggested to keep it as is since it was my first time. The sessions are 49 mins long. I loved decompressing while enjoying therapeutic music. I was surprised how much I sweat out. At the end, there's a cold towel waiting on the shelf for you to wipe yourself down. It has a nice scent with essential oil. They have a membership program and I was told it's easy cancellation. I'm definitely contemplating getting one of their membership since I did feel the benefits afterwards.

It saddens me to update a once 5 star review with a 1 star, however the cleanliness of this place…read morehas me concerned so here goes.... When I started going I researched and learned that women should soak in approximately 53 degree water and I loved R3 because they had 3 different temps and one was around that temp. As I continued to go, I noticed the temperatures were all going to colder options. When I asked the front desk she explained that it was due to "so many bodies being in the water and the bacteria was too hard to keep up on so we have to keep it colder". Um...yuck. After hearing that I couldn't go back. I don't think the water is changed very often which would certainly be an answer for the bacteria, no? I also saw a customer come out of the sauna and not get in the shower before getting into the tub, so I mentioned to her that it was a rule of the club that everyone shower first. She told me that she and many others do not bother with it. The front desk person heard our conversation but didn't come to assist or ensure showers were happening. She did thank me for policing the other customer, though I was not very effective. Soaker beware!

I got a special deal since it was my first time here and after looking at pics, they have definitely upgraded the room and my room had new tile and was spacious. You shower first in a large open shower and then climb through a little door into your tank- they provide waxy earplugs and a little light you can bring in with you- I preferred turning it off to have the full experience- you go into a different state- I felt like I was floating in space. I think I may have fallen asleep briefly but was just so relaxed! And the after- like getting the massage of a lifetime- which I e found pretty hard to find! And all my chronic pain is relieved as welll- definitely considering a monthly membership!! Thank you!
