I ordered togo lunch food and they were pretty quick for pick up and the food was fresh and hot. I would have preferred to do an online order through the restaurant app but they don't offer their cuban sandwich for online orders so calling in to place the order was my only option. The phone order worked well except it took more time on my end. Next time I will try to dine in for a better experience.

Ropa Vieja with boiled yuca and Moros

My husband and I came to this restaurant at about 8 PM on Sunday. There was no wait, we were seated right away. The table was nice and clean, I used their restroom and it was clean as well. Our waiter gave is cuban bread with butter right away and some water. We started off with croquettas, the order came with three well sized croquettas, they were delicious! My husband got sangria to drink, he said it was very good. I ordered ropa vieja with moros and boiled yuca, I enjoyed everything I ate. My husband ordered Churrasco with rice and beans and fries, he also enjoyed his food. Overall, it was a good experience, the service was good and quick, the ambiance was good, the restaurant was clean and the food was yummy. I would go again.

As a Cuban living in South Florida , I don't typically go to Cuban restaurants because I can cook the food myself but I had to make an exception yesterday due to circumstance. We ordered the house croquetas and as someone with a sensitive stomach that can't digest milk or gluten, these passed with flying colors!!! I had no reaction to it and they were so delicious and filling. They were NOT greasy like so many places. Absolutely a hidden gem! Their coffee was fantastic and their customer service was on point. It is a super inviting space and very very clean. I was surprised there weren't many people there and once I hopped on Yelp, I noticed the ratings. I am hoping my review helps this business out. Also, their hot sauce was BOMB! I took one home ! They sell the small bottles for 4.99 and they have NO ADDITIVES! Super spicy! Give them a try even if it's just for a cafecito and a croqueta.

We brought a cake and they provided this candle and sang for our birthday girl

This restaurant is the little gem of Cooper city. We usually het take out, but this weekend we decided to have my mom's birthday lunch there. And it was a hit. These people are super nice and the service was great. The food was on point. We ordered churrascos and lechon asado and they were delicious. Will continue to go there and highly recommend it to anyone.

This is my family go to place. We ordered catering for my nephews birthday at the park. We also order for our family dinners. Today I ordered vaca frita and white rice with black beans. My family also ordered chicken milanesa and I was amazing. The food never disappoints us. When we call to order we usually speak to Santiago and he is always very friendly. He also opens the door for me when I go inside the restaurant. The staffs are very friendly and the food is amazing. This is my Cuban place to go to. I am also Cuban and the quality of the food is the best. I love the place and my family and I will continue going to Havana Cuban Cuisine!

Yummy. Had a friend in town from Texas craving a Cuban sandwich. Delicious Cuban sandwich. Nice flavor and enough to share! The amazing hand cut fries are so appreciated. Can't wait to go back.

This was a great find. We started off with empanadas and they were amazing. Then I got a steak and my wife got the ropa veija. We both loved our meals. We also added a mojito to find your surprise it was 2 for 1! Really good service, good food, and no one left hungry.

    Calamari Frito

I went back and got the same dish only to be told they gave me the seasoned shrimp by accident last time. This time the steak was greasy and the shrimp were only seasoned with high amounts of salt. Not worth 50$. Calamari came in a huge portion yet it was bland and rubbery. Never going back. Mediocre overpriced food.

I decided on their plantain chips, which are typically served, warmed thinly sliced and lightly salted with a garlic, lemon, lime citrus mojo side that you could drizzle over the chips. Star rating is a 0. These were terrible, unsalted. Too thick. Bland no Latin flavor in the drizzle. As for the crispy Wonton Chicken Tacos...ok, they have potential. Loved the crispiness of the Wonton, Chicken was flavorless, far too much lettuce. Now that sauce had something special in it. Of the 3 Tacos, they only drizzled 1 and that one barely was enough to make this dish pop! As for the Chicken noodle soup I went for....well again another epic fail. Too salty and definitely no lation flavor here. I would have been satisfied has I gone to Pollo tropical. As for the service...well..even that was mediocre. It was a 1 and done for me.

I ordered the breaded steak with white rice, black beans and sweet fried plantains. My wife ordered the roasted pork with morros (black beans and rice cooked together) and French fries. First, the breaded steak was way thinner than it should have been. If you removed the breading from both sides of the steak and stacked it up, the breading was thicker than the steak. That thing was pounded to paper thinness. Was it tender? Yes, of course! But the flavor was hidden with the flavor or the breading (which was bland, at best). The black beans lacked flavor. I would have preferred a can of Kirby's black beans heated up. I tasted my wife's' meal, and it seems the same blandness was in effect. Perhaps I am spoiled and used to heavily seasoned dishes that contain, garlic, diced onions and peppers, cumin, black pepper and a smidgen of salt. Typically, when I bread things to be fried or baked, I season the breading so that could just be me. I will say that the portions were very good for the price. The standout was the avocado salad. Perfection on a plate! If I were in the area and hungry, like yesterday, then I would definitely stop in. Hopefully, next time we will focus on the Mexican dishes to see if they are a little more spice oriented. Finally, the service was impeccable and the ambiance, because of the time was very relaxing after a long hard day of running errands. If the owner or manager is reading this, please tell your cooks not to be shy with seasonings. Most abuelas aren't!
