My boss brought me here for lunch as he loves going to their other location. The little starter they bring is yummy- it's fried tiny pieces of fish with a green sauce. My boss ordered the pescado al macho and I got the lomo salteado. I am a Peruvian food lover so I have had this dish many times. While the serving size was good the meat didn't feel like the best quality. It was decent, I just have had better. My boss said the fish was dry. He has mentioned multiple times since in convo that he didn't like it. The service was good, the waitress was friendly. Not sure if just off time for the kitchen as it was around 230 on a Friday- but not sure I would go back

Been dining at this establishment for years since around late 2000s'. This restaurant always maintained a clean and classy look with a minimalist design and smooth Jazz music in the background. The Peruvian food here is exceptional. I love the complimentary Chilcano with Fish soup they give when they also hand you the menu. The staff here have always been friendly and very attentive! One of the dishes I like to order here is their Tallarin Huancaína with Steak. Their Chicha Morada was very flavorful and delicious too! I love coming back here!

This is one of the early Peruvian restaurants in Broward county. It has been around for at least 30 years, when there were very few Peruvian places in the area. Their menu is not too extensive, but it includes most of the more traditional Peruvian dishes, and the quality is consistently good with reasonable prices. The plaza they are located at is old and kind of ran down, but the restaurant itself is kept very clean, has friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. I definitely recommend their ceviche and steamed mussels. Something I thought was a nice touch was that they prepare your Pisco Sour table side. Also, keep in mind that during happy hour, cocktails are 50% off. Cheers!

This was my first time having Peruvian food and it was a pleasant surprise on my taste buds. An older unassuming restaurant from the outside with an updated interior. Service was friendly and prompt. While we didn't have any traditional ceviche, we did try the lomo saltado and chaufa which were both very tasty and full of flavor. The potatoes with cream sauce were interesting to try once but probably wouldn't order again. Looking forward to returning to try a few more dishes.

    Papa a la Huacaina

Ordered Leche de Tigre and Papa a la Huancaina through uber. Was very dissapointed. The portions were incredibly small compared to other peruvian restaurants and not worth the price for the Leche de Tigre. It wasn't even actually Leche de Tigre at all! It was a watery lime vinegar with barely two small cubes of fish in there and for some reason the fish was mashed. The Papa a la Huancaina was alright, the potato was a bit hard though and there was a strange liquid in the box with it not sure if it was supposed to be sauce. If it was sauce that is a very strange way of serving it. No reciept was included when I recieved my order so I have no idea if they gave me ceviche instead of my leche de tigre because that is certainly what it looks like.

This Peruvian place is amazing, I am so use to La Granja. This was a major up grade. We came during happy hour. Happy hour is M-F 4-8 everything on the menu 20% off. We ordered Jallea as an appetizer. It's fried seafood. It was so delicious. I got chicken friend rice as my entree because it was a high carb day for me. My wife got ceviche, it was sooo delicious. For all the food we had it was only about 40 bucks. Omg it was so much food and it was so delicious. The inside looks small cute and petite. The music is very mood setting. The menu is pretty big. You definiitely get a bang for your buck during happy hour. I will definiitely be coming back to this place again. I highly recommend it to anyone.

If you are in the mood for some superb ceviche, then this is the place to go. I ordered the fish & shrimp ceviche, normal spiced. This is delicious. Comes with toasted corn, soft corn, and sweet potato. A cold beer in a freezing mug to compliment the dish.

i haven't been to this place in over 6 years. i am so glad i decided to gove it another try. parking is super easy as it is located in a small plaza and most of the businesses next to it are small. atmosphere is more of a restaurant you go eat and leave not really the kind i will take someone on a date, nor a place i will pick to hang out with friends. is more of the type of restaurants tou go eat and leave immediately. food: the family ceviche is a must, ordered the fiah one and it was amazing. requested spicy and i barely felt the spicy on it. fish tasted fresh. ordered the lomo saltado it was really good, meat was cooked on point and tender. note that it is sort of small compared to other places. anticuchos de pollo, this is where they lost the 5 stars. the meat was over cooked to the point it was hard to eat. did not complaint as we were in a rush and couldn't wait for them to make it again. definitely stay away from this plate. service was not the best but wasnt terrible eithet, food took forever and server rarely asked if we were ok. one point that is sort of a personal complaint please do not sell small little bottles of coke as if they were the regular size bottles had to order 2 since they are small. definitely happy to go back, i recommend the fish ceviche for sure.

I live near Totoritas so I've gone few times. I like the food very much and that's why I'm giving them 5 stars. But the service is normal, sometimes they're kind, sometimes they take a lot of time so you can be there one hour waiting for the food. I would redecorate the place as it is big and make it more beautiful and comfortable. I would recommend the ceviche and the tallarines verdes o tallarines a la huancaina with bisteck.

Everyone else had already said it, but I, too, have been passing by this plaza that seems like ghost town. I figured, why not grab a brunch on a Thursday? It looked different inside, nicer and "posh-y" looking than expected. When I got to the door, the lunch specials were over it. I couldn't see the details, but I went with the one that had fish (fried flounder) as the main thing. I expected rice and there it was on a separate plate :) I didn't have to add their dipping sauce to anything except a little on the rice. The main dish was enough seasoning or a bit too salty without the sauces they provided. The rice and sweet potato, though, calmed my salty taste buds down lol I washed it down with their beer, which I normally don't drink, but felt good at the end with my meal. It was very light. The egg over it was also a nice touch. There's my omega and protein. It was a quiet day and a server and a cashier were attentive then. I was not asked if I wanted water, but instead to try their fish soup also if I was interested. I said, no thanks but once I finish eating I could also order some colada, my usual caffeine fix. Place all of a sudden got busier, so I waited longer... it was fine until I realized it's been half an hour, so I went up to the counter to ask for the colada to go. I would go back again for their lunch specials, maybe not very often, but it's also a short drive from my son's school.

They were also able to provide us with separate checks with no fuss! This was a great plus for us. Overall I was glad with the quality and the variety they had. All the foods were freshly prepared, and arrived relatively fast to our table, so we all We're able to start eating and enjoying our food together. They also have a lunch menu! It is a reduced portion of their menu as it includes only 5 choices, but the choices are good enough that they are a great sampler of the food and the portion size is abundant! We all took some home for dinner! This time we did not taste their desserts, but I have such a craving for the chocolate cake that looked delicious, that I'm sure I'll be back soon! I ordered the tenderloin over the huancaina risotto and it was a huge portion (not a lunch menu item). The sauce was a bit salty so I did not take it "to go", just the delicious risotto and the tenderloin chunks. Three friends ordered the "trio" sampler with ceviche, fried calamari and some risotto; a couple friends ordered the sautéed chicken with white rice and French fries that looked spectacular, and a couple other friends ordered the fettuccini in huancaina sauce with the breaded chicken filet that was a humongous dish and very yummy! Finally one friend ordered a Maki Sushi roll that was beautifully plated, and another ordered the seafood risotto that was also very yummy. Everything smelled and looked like something I would've loved to have... so juat Enjoy and come back for more! Don't forget to check the last page for those lunch specials!

I have never been so disappointed after spending so much money at a Peruvian restaurant…read more I'm a foodie, and I have no problem paying $$$$ for a meal if it's worth it. One thing about me: I'm absolutely obsessed with Peruvian cuisine. Unfortunately, this place completely missed the mark. The service was terrible from the start. They use electronic tablets as menus, but mine was dead. I had to wait nearly 10 minutes just to get someone's attention and receive a replacement. That's just the beginning. My food arrived before my drinks, and I had to repeatedly ask for a bottle of water and a spoon. I ordered the chaufa, and it was incredibly oily. It didn't even have the proper color or flavor you'd expect from a good Peruvian fried rice. I would've taken a photo, but by that point we had already waited so long that I just wanted to eat. To make matters worse, the dish was mostly rice with maybe 10 pieces of chicken scattered throughout. I left half of it untouched. I also ordered ceviche and specifically wanted shrimp and fish. Instead, they brought me fish only and somehow upsold me to a different fish that I never asked for. Of course, I didn't find that out until the bill arrived. Overall, it was overpriced, disappointing, and nowhere near worth the money. Save yourself the frustration and spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.
