Haven brothers diner is a staple in Rhode Island so I was really excited to try it. Inside the diner, you can see pictures of famous people that visited. There is a menu outside so you can take a look at the options before you go in and order. I ordered the western burger with no bacon and mozzarella sticks. The burger buns was a roll and not the traditional bun. Thankfully no mold like a few reviews mentioned. I wish there were more bbq sauce and onions in the burger. The mozzarella sticks were good. They operate out of a roomy food truck parked next to City Hall. Their menu is the basic late night drunk food, with burgers, hot weiners/dogs, chicken tenders, fries, and shakes. The shakes are delicious, they have pretty my h every flavor you can think of and in my opinion are the best part of the menu. Their food is usually satisfying, can be a bit hit or miss and is definitely a little pricier than it should be. Tradition, that's worth a star. Another one for being open late near all the bars and clubs. And the last one is for the food. After a night of having too much why not have more of what you probably shouldn't. We ordered a bunch of things to try them out. 1 hot dog with mustard and kraut was quickly eaten before I realized the kraut was cold. That is one way to serve it. The burger would have been better if I had another few pints before ordering it. I would also recommend dressing it up with lettuce tomato and anything else. A naked burger was like looking at someone who is too thin to be healthy. The fried dough was actually carnival or fair like and since I like those it was good. The shake was thick and flavored with a strawberry like substance. The root beer float was also good. So if fine dining is what you desire this is not the spot. How can you give Haven Brithers anything but five stars? We went one night because we were craving diner food and were in the city. You could only go in one party at a time which made me feel very safe. Inside they were very kind and helpful. Mike got a couple of hotdogs which looked amazing although I am not a hot dog fan. I think that they could convince me to be a fan. I got a hamburger with all kinds of stuff on it and it was absolutely what I had been craving and absolutely delicious. We ate in the car which was so messy and so worth it. I got a regular size hamburger and I could eat about a third of it because it was so big and so full of goodies. Family vacation time and we closed the day traveling from Hartford to Providence on a Man Vs Food train (Keto is dead). Viewing YouTube we found this place. It's located next to city hall with some plastic tables outside of their coach. First, as you arrive their is no parking so be aware of where to park. When we arrived, the people hanging out weren't the most hospitable and know there is no restroom around so take your hand sanitizer. The young man who took our order was very nice while taking our order. We had cheese fries, hot dog, custom burger with American cheese/grilled onions and I had the Triple Murder Burger.
