Really yummy hot dogs:) I also find the chefs very welcoming and friendly. I've only had their hot dogs but enjoyed them each time!

Service - 4/5 Food - 3/5 Ambiance - 3/5 Total - 3.5/5 been wanting to stop by and try this prov staple. glad i did because it was a cute experience. stopped by on a saturday night to grab some fries. they weren't salted enough and the portion could have been more generous for what seemed like frozen fries in a styrofoam box costing me $7. i am lactose intolerant so couldn't try the milkshake but the menu looked fun. i prob won't be back often but i wouldn't be against coming back.

This place is so cool!!! Allie was super sweet and was super helpful in teaching us about the menu!! The food was great and you can mix flavors together in your milkshake!! Super fun!

It wasn't 1am and I was not drunk. The Haven Brothers truck was at my job and I tried a cheeseburger and fries. It was good. I mean fresh bun! But I need a little grease on my burger and I felt it lacked that. The ketchup was empty (I know they were slammed at my job) and the fries were fries. I have been told it tastes better at 1am after a night out.

Never been disappointed here. So historic. Well-priced, fresh bread for the hotdogs so they're super tasty. The milkshakes could probably be thicker though. Cajun spice doesn't taste like anything at all.

i love so much!!! I get every weekend and never disappoints. the workers always have a smile and I love them!!!

Haven brothers diner is a staple in Rhode Island so I was really excited to try it. Inside the diner, you can see pictures of famous people that visited. There is a menu outside so you can take a look at the options before you go in and order. I ordered the western burger with no bacon and mozzarella sticks. The burger buns was a roll and not the traditional bun. Thankfully no mold like a few reviews mentioned. I wish there were more bbq sauce and onions in the burger. The mozzarella sticks were good. Service was nice and he even gave us samples of Oreo caramel milkshake. It was nice to try, but not sure if I would be back.

Solid place- great for late night... a Rhode Island staple! Can even call your pickup order ahead of time to avoid the line. Love the burgers and seasoned fries!

One of my favorite places to grab a bite after a night out. Haven Bros is a Providence icon and have tons of pictures with celebrities that have stopped by. They operate out of a roomy food truck parked next to City Hall. Their menu is the basic late night drunk food, with burgers, hot weiners/dogs, chicken tenders, fries, and shakes. The shakes are delicious, they have pretty my h every flavor you can think of and in my opinion are the best part of the menu. Their food is usually satisfying, can be a bit hit or miss and is definitely a little pricier than it should be. Overall, a good spot to hit after a night out, and one that you should at least stop by to see if you're in Providence.

WTF is this??????! I ordered a burger that was supposed to come with bbq, sautéed onions, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo... look at this atrocity!!! It looks disgusting and very bland and like cardboard. My brother who is 18 years younger than me can make a better and JUICIER burger than this. Why pay $10-$12 for these thin ass burgers that don't taste like anything and the burgers are crafted like shit????!!! It's beyond ridiculous.

Regular Western Burger, that 2 patty's, cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and a few napkins worth of BBQ sauce! Single order of regular fries, and a amazing chocolate shake. Sever was super friendly too! When I'm Providence, you gotta eat here!

You can find all updates on their instagram under the handle Rogue on the Road. The food truck is longer than the average food truck. The fresh wood colored paint on the truck shows off their rustic colors from the restauraunt. The coolest feature of the truck is the undercarriage lights. At night, the lights change color to the beat of the music on the truck! Now let's talk about the best part: the food! Rogue on the Road will be offering a similiar menu to the restauraunt. It is a smaller rotating menu, including modified versions of their main staples and truck specials. I was able to catch them at Buttonwoods Brewery at one of their first pop ups. Pictured below is the Short Rib Burger: Aquidneck Farm grass fed beef, stout braised short rib, pepper jack cheese, caramelized onion jam, honey mustard aioli, arugula, fried onion strings, buttered brioche bun with a side of potato salad. Crazy part is…read morethat not only is it on wheels as a food truck, it's a MUCH bigger than the usual food truck you're accustomed to. Having been around this long and operating at crazy hours that obviously cater to late night crawlers and drunken fools, you must have built some solid grit to be a dedicated feeding hole around a university/college town. The staff greeted me fondly as I walked through the door. If you've never seen this on TV or online before, you wouldn't have imagined a diner within a truck designed that way. You wouldn't have been able to tell the difference from them vs a small restaurant in a city. TV, lights, posters and everything anything restaurant that you expect was there...except for the chairs this particular night. I'm guessing they removed it to better handle crowds coming through...after all, too many people dining there, lining up, and trying to order food is a classic fire hazard 101 within such a small space. I am glad to have a chance to visit this time around. I've been wanting to try it for the longest time since seeing it on Man vs Food. However, I don't know why but I just wasn't craving a burger in the moment. Maybe if I did order the burger, this would have ended up as a 5-star review based on how most people rave about it. But for now, I'll glad to still say that I'm a true fan. The Haven Dog with celery salt was simple and a quick fixer-upper for anyone slightly hungry in the moment. The steak and cheese sandwich, however, is a loaded mother-f-fer with a LOT of sliced beef atop a TINY bun with some shrooms and peppers. All I could think about as I unwrapped it was someone trying a skinny jeans three sizes down, lol. Check them out!

The fries were incredible: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with toppings without getting soggy. I ordered mine with blue cheese, chicken, and buffalo sauce, and it was honestly one of the best loaded fries dishes I've ever had. The staff was very friendly, and the customers--both locals and visitors--were welcoming as well. The only downside is that the restaurant is very narrow and small. If you're with a group larger than 2-3 people, you likely won't find seating and may have to get your order to go. I was grabbing mine to go anyway, so it wasn't a big issue, but it would've been nice to have the option to sit. Regardless, it was absolutely worth the walk and worth stepping inside. If I'm ever back in the area, I will 100% return.

I recently had my first experience with Polo Loco (I know, I'm a little late to the game). They were at the Jaws Movies on the Block screening last night, and I couldn't resist trying a couple tacos even though I'd TECHNICALLY already eaten dinner ;-) I tried the PBJ (pork, black beans, jalapenos, cheese, sweet chili sauce) and the Napalm (chicken, jalapenos, Napalm sauce, cheese, Southwest sour cream). Both tacos are a play on a well-known combo, and both are successful for an Americanized taco experience. First off, you have a choice of soft or hard tacos. I went with soft, and got these babies served on smallish flour tortillas. An authentic taco is served typically on corn, but flour is also quite tasty in this case. The PBJ is pulled pork sandwich meets taco. It has a slight sweetness from the sauce and the pork, with a bit of spice from the jalapenos. It's quite tasty, but also a bit drippy, so be careful :) The Napalm reminds me of Buffalo chicken. It's chicken and a spicy "Napalm" sauce which is pretty much a version of Buffalo sauce. The cheese and Southwest sour cream combine to remind me of blue cheese dressing without the actual blue cheese. That creaminess along with the Napalm sauce is definitely reminiscent of Buffalo chicken, and yields a very tasty taco. I see lots of love here for the Grande Tacos, and perhaps next time I'll try one of those. I also know the Green Monstah tacos are popular, and maybe when I'm hungrier I'll grab one of those too. I'd happily visit Poco Loco on future occasions. Although their tacos are not traditional Mexican in style, they are very tasty and satisfying. They're also very cheap at $2 a pop! Two thumbs up for sure!

Shuckin Truck was an absolute hit! They set up the outdoor raw bar...clams (littlenecks), oysters, and shrimp on ice, in a very attractive manner. The table was manned by a charming "shucker". There were an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres which included lobster grilled cheese lobster triangles...these were indescribably delicious. Everyone was oohing and aahing over these. I also loved the smoked salmon on toast and the small cups of really tasty clam chowder. All the appetizers were incredibly delicious although I would say the lobster grilled cheese was the biggest hit. All of the staff were polite and friendly. After the appetizer round, the lobster rolls came out and they were simply spectacular. They were true New England lobster rolls on toasted square edged (this is key) frankfurter buns, and absolutely stuffed with chunks of delicious lobster meat that had been lightly dressed with mayo. Those rolls were out of this world, deliciously prepared and very generously filled with sweet lobster meat. They also served fabulous fish tacos. For the non-seafood eaters of which there were none at this party, they served a pulled pork taco which was spicy and delicious. The portions were generous and the food just kept on coming out. While there was plenty of additional food at this party from other vendors as well as some homemade additions, Shuckin' Truck was my favorite part of the overall feast. Great job! I would not hesitate to hire them for a party or to seek out the food truck wherever it was parked!
