Not sure why this place only got 4 stars from Yelpers. It has the best house potatoes I have ever had! The service is excellent- a really rare find when the place is packed. The baked goods are amazing! We ordered scones and Ding Dongs to go - they are moist and absolutely delicious! In our short trip in Lenox, we came to this place two days in a row! A welcoming environment filled with delicious food. I was greeted by some of the employees into what seemed like a morning brunch rush on a Tuesday morning, but the wait moved quickly. You order at the front register and then bring a number to your table, one of the waiters got me a table set up outside before I even ordered! I had numerous recommendations from friends to visit Haven on a day off, and their glowing reviews proved true. There's something on the menu for everyone; I went with the veggies French rolled omelet and it was delicious. Served with some potatoes, baguette and lightly dressed greens, it was a light and filling way to start my morning. I also enjoyed a cold brew brewed in house and it was delicious- smooth and slightly sweet, no bitterness at all! Would highly recommend stopping in if you take a trip to Lenox- I made a whole morning out of it and walked the town and visited local shops, so fun! Super high end high quality breakfast. Drove here from Asbury Park NJ(left nj at 7am to make sure we still got up therein time for breakfast) researched it online before our trip. Way better than anything else in the berkshires if you want high quality breakfast in a magical small town. read more

I had a cheese omlette that was very good (with the most yellow eggs I've seen in along time) and it came with tasty home fries that were not greasy, It came with some salad that had real lettuce (not iceberg) and a few other greens. It was a good meal. If you have not been there before (that's me), you look over a menu at the front and go to the register on the right to order. You are given a number to put on the table that you pick. It was quite crowded, but there were a few empty tables and the service was good. You get your own water from the back. I can't remember what I first ordered but they said they were out of it so I got the Turkey BLT and it was great. This is a nice little food destination with plenty of options to either eat there or take with you. I've been here a few times for coffee and a "treat" and also to pick up some desserts to bring when I was visiting friends. Service was fast and friendly and the food was ready pretty quick and like I mentioned, tasted great, we'll be back again. read more

Pretty disappointing all around. Tons of the pastries are wheat-free, which generally means lacking in flavor and texture. Our cowgirl cookie was grainy and I'm doubtful the carrot cake slice I got will be worth eating based on a group near us who picked at theirs. Our pancakes were undercooked and gummy, and the bacon, while cooked perfectly, lacked flavor. Service was also slow. I did like their setup for ordering and the staff were friendly. read more

Came here on our way back to Boston after a weekend in the area. The bakery had a very chill vibe, you walk in, order, and choose a seat. Luckily when we went it was snowing outside so we easily found a table, this does not look like the normal occurrence as it is a popular establishment. I ordered a mocha latte and breakfast sandwich. My husband ordered a veggie omelette and a pancake. Orders came out shortly after we sat and everything was enjoyable. Staff were pleasant as well. All in all had a good experience and recommend it. A place that is not as good as I heard. I was surprised that they had matcha latte and was super excited to try it out. It was really bad... Super weak matcha, too much milk, bitter taste. This place truly is Heaven. I enjoyed breakfast so much on my last day in town that i went back for lunch! Very quiet with beautiful jazz in the morning and very busy and lively in the afternoon! Service was beyond reproach on both visits as well as when I stopped in for tea a couple times during the week. Just delicious food, too and beautifully presented. Oh, and make sure to check out the bookshelf full of cookbooks in the hall heading to the restrooms!! Can't wait to be back in the area so I can stop in again! read more

Ok -- so breakfast is fantastic, from the earl grey vanilla latte to the scrumptious last bite of potato dolloped with Kensington ketchup. But hats off to EVAN, the young man running a line that stretches out the door late on a Monday morning with diplomacy, speed and pure grace deserving of a Nobel. First time in the Berkshires - glad we stopped by this cute brunch/lunch spot! We were in town for a wedding and were walking by Haven when we saw two friends that invited us to join them. Initially, my wife and I were just going to split something, but when she saw the menu, she definitely wanted to try multiple things. We both had a coffee - me, a regularly iced coffee, and her, a half-decaf oat milk latte. Both were tasty! I had the breakfast sandwich on challah - a classic sandwich that is kicked up a notch with the delicious challah. My wife ordered the Haven Scramble, which has butternut squash and asparagus - definitely unique, but she really enjoyed it. Both were served with garlic-y breakfast potatoes and a fresh salad. It was a good choice - would definitely go back if we were in town! read more

When we were walking away with our table number in hand I heard the cashier tell the barista I ordered a maple latte. I corrected her, I ordered the lavender. I received a Mocha. How did a raspberry lavender become chocolate? No idea how that went so wrong. A metal stand is on each table. Insert your table number and place it where staff can see. The indoor dining area has high ceilings, a big window wall at one end and is quite loud with sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces. Tables are set up from couples to a group configurations. In the back corner are two love seats and a coffee table. My egg and cheese crepe was extremely filling. Lots and lots of cheese in there. It kept me full all day in a 'I need a nap' kind of way. The cheese was the primary flavor in this dish. My dining companion had a stomach issue after eating a spicy reuben. It wasn't actually spicy at all so not sure what caused the stomach upset. The concept is fun. Put a sandwich into a crepe. The crepe doesn't add flavor to the dish and it's a knife and fork meal vs. a handheld. Add in both of our less than optimal reactions to the dish and wrong coffee delivery and we personally won't add this to our 'try again' list. They do have plenty of other items to try, and I do appreciate local businesses so I'm not saying it won't work for you. This was just my experience. Free on street parking. The roasted mushroom board was good though we improved it ourselves by spreading leftover s'chug from the shrimp skewers onto the bread and layering the mushrooms on top. It also had truffle for some reason. Why? Dulu has the right ingredients to be top tier. This just wasn't their night. The bartender rescued the evening. Give that man a raise.

This place is on fancier side of things in terms of variety, food quality, and originality. More home made treats like the dirt bomb (a deep fried doughnut ball covered in sugar) and a vanilla carrot cake with butter cream frosting (get this). You can get breakfast cocktails and the fancy barista drinks like espresso or lattes. This place has some outdoor seating as well. Haven is more for the Hooghly toighty tonight crowd and such auto corrects I care about but sound funny. It costs a bit of money. They can get real busy so might check the crowd before the long wait. The decor is OK. Not sure what they're going for exactly. They got good handmade burgers too. When we were walking away with our table number in hand I heard the cashier tell the barista I ordered a maple latte. I corrected her, I ordered the lavender. I received a Mocha. How did a raspberry lavender become chocolate? No idea how that went so wrong. A metal stand is on each table. Insert your table number and place it where staff can see. The indoor dining area has high ceilings, a big window wall at one end and is quite loud with sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces. Tables are set up from couples to a group configurations. In the back corner are two love seats and a coffee table. My egg and cheese crepe was extremely filling. Lots and lots of cheese in there. It kept me full all day in a 'I need a nap' kind of way. The cheese was the primary flavor in this dish. My dining companion had a stomach issue after eating a spicy reuben. It wasn't actually spicy at all so not sure what caused the stomach upset. The concept is fun. Put a sandwich into a crepe. The crepe doesn't add flavor to the dish and it's a knife and fork meal vs. a handheld. Add in both of our less than optimal reactions to the dish and wrong coffee delivery and we personally won't add this to our 'try again' list. They do have plenty of other items to try, and I do appreciate local businesses so I'm not saying it won't work for you. This was just my experience. Free on street parking. Restrooms down the hall near the back door where you'll also find a water fountain.
